A Day of Smithing Part 1

"Hey Zylvyr, where have you been?" Alicia asked

"Oh me I.. I fell... yeah yeah I fell cause I was to exhausted." He replied in response

"Okay you guys let's go celebrate or something," he said

They agreed and were heading back to the City but Alicia stopped Zylvyr and asked the girls to head there first.

"Hey Zylvyr, Where in the hell have you really been?" She asked

Zylvyr was without a response, he can't just say that he hid the Dragon's corpse in a cave or something.

"What do you mean? like I said was fell cause of exhaustion and i crash landed in the forest." Zylvyr said

But Alicia still didn't believe him so she said "Okay then, take me to the site where you crash landed like you said."

Zylvyr was sweating bullets he can't think of another lie. He was at a loss, Alicia saw through him instantly.

"Okay fine, what I said earlier was a lie."

"After I killed that thing, I recovered it's corpse and hid it inside a cave near the forest." He stated

"And why would you do that?! are you insane?! Dragon's meat isn't edible you know!" Alicia shouted at him

She was blabbing for about ten minutes and when she finally stoped she asked

"What are you going to do with it's corpse?"

Zylvyr replied "I'll make some new set of armor."

"Armor? what for?" she asked in response

"Well nothing actually, it's just that the Dragon's hide was hard and that's good for making armor." Zylvyr replied

"And just what do you know about armor?"

"Old man august taught me all about smithing and crafting. And I also trained for about 8 years moron."

"Excuse me? Is that how you treat a lady?"

They continued squabbling for about a minute or two before someone interrupted them.

"Oh so that's what you need the corpse for."

"Ekk!" The two were startled they didn't knew someone was there.

It was Aram, looks like he waited for the two.

"Aram?! You almost gave me a heart attack?" Alicia exclaimed

"Sorry Alicia, you see I saw Zylvyr here dragging the Dragon's corpse so I followed him and I was also interested in what he needed it for."

"Well now you know, happy?" Zylvyr said in a sarcastic tone

"Absolutely, well if it's armor that you're making count me in. besides that dragon corpse is huge, we can make lots of armor with it."

Zylvyr raised his eyebrow and asked "We??"

Aram replied with a smile "Yup, I'll help you make them."

"I forgot how leprechuans act when it comes to smithing and crafting." Zylvyr said inwardly

"Fine but first lets go back to the City, my body's exhausted from all that work."

"Okay lets go."

The fairies then returned to the City. Zylvyr returned to rest but the other two have different reasons.

After they arrived in the City, Zylvyr immediately went to the Inn where they slept and hit the sack, the other four fairies were at the city square with Gethrude and Miliana.

They were celebrating their victory and they were also talking about the alliance. Miliana informed her father about their victory and for their efforts, Lord Kufa and the other race leaders agreed to let them rest for a day.

The fairies were over joyed when they heard the news, so they celebrated to their hearts' content.

After an hour or so, Aram decided to go get Zylvyr and start creating the new armors. He went back inside the Inn heading to the room where Zylvyr was sleeping. He slammed the door opened and shouted

"Hey Zylvyr! Time to get down to business!"

Zylvyr was startled, his sleep was interrupted once again by this bastard.

"What the hell do you want this time you bastard?!?!" He exclaimed

Aram replied with a sly grin "There are two things that you need to know."

"First is that Lord Kufa said that we should take a break and rest for the day."

"Nice I needed to rest anyways, What's the other one then?"

"Second is we need to get the dragon's hide now and get started or the hide will rot."

"Damn I forgot!"

Zylvyr forgot everything about the armor matter cause he was exhausted, actually his body is still aching but if he didn't get the hide now it'll rot with the flesh and will be utterly useless.

"Okay lets go get the stupid hide."

The two fairies exited the Inn and quickly flew to the cave where Zylvyr left the dragon corpse. There they started to remove the dragon's skin from it's flesh. That part was very gruesome but it they need to do it cause the only they're after is hide.

While Zylvyr knew how it would end, he still can't hide the fact that he was about to barf from just skinning the corpse. But Aram was a different story the bastard doesn't even look like he's about to throw up, it's like his gut was made of steel. Skinning a corpse was like second nature to him.

After skinning the dragon corpse, they return to the city ti process the materials. They first started cleaning the hide getting rid of the impurities that it had.

After that they bought other materials needed to make armors but Aram already had most of it, they also rented a blacksmith shop.

Meanwhile

The Girls were talking about the alliance, they were also talking about other stuffs.

"Hey have you two seen the boys?"

"Now that you mentioned it I haven't seen them at all, especially Zylvyr he didn't even came to the celebration."

"He was exhausted so he headed back to the Inn to get some rest, but I think he's with Aram now doing some stuff."

Adeltrude and Helvy were intrigued by the matter.

"Stuff? what stuff?" They asked

"Well you remember earlier when we were looking for Zylvyr, he lied about falling. He actually dragged the dragon's corpse to a nearby cave." Alicia replid

"What?! that's gross." Helvy stated

"Well what does he want with the corpse, you did tell him that dragon meat isn't edible right?" Adeltrude asked

"Yeah I did but apparently he wants to make new armor, Aram eavesdropped on us that's why the both of them should be working on the armors right now." She replied

Adeltrude and Helvy looked at each other and exchanged some sly grins.

"So Alicia, what's with you and Zylvyr?"

"Yeah what's your relationship?" They asked

Alicia started to become flustered and didn't knew how to reply.

"R-Relationship? W-What are you guys implying? We're just companions, acquiantances that's all." She replied in response.

The girls chatted for about an hour, they kept asking Alicia about how they knew each other and what's their relationship.
