Chapter 9

*****At school the next morning.*****

It was time for lunch break and Jaden rushed to Elsa and said "we need to talk", without waiting for her response, he took hold of her hand and dragged her out of the classroom. He was walking too fast and Elsa found it hard to keep up with his pace and she stumbled a few times. Jaden led her to a small quiet conner in the school before letting her go. "what the hell Jaden!, why the hell would you pull me like that!?, now you've hurt my wrist!!"

" I'm sorry, I was anxious, aren't you?? "

" and what am I supposed to be anxious about? " Elsa asked puzzled.

"aren't you worried about where Daphnie is!??, your supposed to be her fucking best friend!!"

Elsa was first stunned because that was the second time she had ever heard Jaden curse. Then she started laughing, she laughed self-depreciatingly, of course!, what was she expecting, it was always about Daphnie!, it had always been about Daphnie!!, she had always been the only person in his eyes!!, why else would he remember to come to her, it was because of Daphnie!. She was fucking tired of that bitch!, Daphnie this, Daphnie that!. All everyone always cares or talk about is Daphnie, she was tired of being overshadowed by that bitch. Even Jaden she loves doesn't even put her in his eyes, yes!, they weren't really dating, Jaden had come to ask her for advice on how to confess his feelings to Daphnie but that he was scared she didn't feel the same way. Elsa had been around Daphnie long enough to know that she liked Jaden, but instead of helping her, she told Jaden that the best way to figure out if Daphnie liked him was to make her jealous.

"How?" Jaden had asked.

"it's simple, pretend to be my boyfriend in front of Daphnie, when we see her reaction to the news, especially if she says she's bothered about our fake "relationship", it means she is jealous and then we'll know if she has feelings for you or not" she had explained, but the idea didn't sit well with Jaden, she had to put in alot of effort just to convince him that it was the best and only option. Although Elsa really likes Jaden, she was willing to be used by him as a "pretend girlfriend" if it meant getting to see Daphnie jealous. Jaden had agreed on the condition that they don't over act the whole thing and she felt both happy and sad, sad that the person she has a crush on was using her to find out if another girl has a crush on him and happy that she can finally get to see Daphnie jealous and she wanted Daphnie to be Soo jealous that she would feel like vomiting blood!. Yes!, she hates her that much!, afterall she was the school's queen b before Daphnie came and stole her limelight. Daphnie became popular even more so than her!. She had put down her pride and became friends with Daphnie thinking that everyone would see how nice she was and she would become the most popular again, but damn was she wrong. Instead people started comparing the both of them asking who's more pretty?, who dresses better?, who's more intelligent?... and Daphnie was always the winner. Even though she hated Daphnie, she had to admit that Daphnie was really beautiful, she was extremely cute and she had this pure childish Innocence that just makes people want to protect her from the world on instinct. And the worst part of it all was that Daphnie didn't even care about these things, she was effortlessly gaining all the attention, while her, Elsa, had to think her head off on what to do to gain it and that made very envious and her jealously over time slowly turned to resentment. She hates Daphnie to the core. On the day they told Daphnie about their "relationship" Elsa felt utter bliss seeing the look on Daphnie's face, she could see the hurt and jealousy she was trying to hide in her eyes. Although Daphnie had claimed she didn't mind their relationship, Elsa could see the hurt in her eyes and she loved the feeling of finally being able to make Daphnie jealous. However her joy was short-lived because the moment Daphnie walked away, Jaden had pushed her away from him yelling "why the f**k did you kiss me?!!, that was not part of the damn plan!!!" of course he was raging and furious, that was his first kiss and he wanted it to be with Daphnie!.

" I-i'm sorry, I just wanted to help you make the whole thing more believable" she had replied, the joy of seeing Daphnie jealous totally gone without a trace---

"i asked you a question?!" Jaden shouted, he noticed that Elsa was lost in thought and her face didn't look good, he thought it was about Daphnie's whereabouts and he became really worried that something might have happened to her...
