Chapter 1 | The Introduction

Hello my name is number 3575 or Victor or Vic for short , 3575 is my name to be recognized by the government and older people the numbers are only for people in my generation , gen k . The government decided to give us these numbers because everyone in generation k has a special manipulative ability , my ability is anxiety I know it sounds weird but it's pretty straight forward I can give people crippling anxiety by just touching them , the one downside is I slowly get worse anxiety the more I use it so I don't use it very often . I go to a school where they try to teach us what life was like before the new generation manifested with these abilities but my friends and I think they are just trying to convince us that life was better before these ability and they always look at us in strange like we are some sort of criminals when we didn't ask for these abilities we just have to live with it . we can use our abilities in school because there is no real rule against us using it because everyone in gen k are mostly children and teenagers so there is no real rule because we are all minors .

Everyone in my school has an assigned number but I only remember by two friend's numbers Zak number 3474 and Celine number 3373 , I could try to learn their names but i just learned the names their parents gave them because I am lazy . So I am lazy , anxiety and I'm socially awkward . This is the story of my life ..........
