"Ughh" I released an annoyed growl...

I can't sleep somehow, and I couldn't understand

I could understand if it was insomnia, but no... it just wasnt it

It might have been because I just woke up some time earlier

I rise on the bed and sat at the edge of it, my eyes were as lively as it used to be

I know I should be sleeping to recover or something, maybe if I could force myself to sleep like before when I had trouble sleeping in my former world

I closed my eyes for a bit, and clear my mind

Fuuh... actually the feeling is nice but... I dont feel any change even after doing it a little bit longer, I didn't feel a hint of drowsyness or being sleepy at all

I can still force it to atleast half asleep, but its probbably gonna end up more bad that it could ever help

Hmm... Ah... I just remembered one thing, the former me wasn't sleeping on a normal time anyway, like I live in the east but I follow the timezone of the west, like sleep on day and stay awake on night...

Jeez, gathering as much fatigue as if it was a prized item...

I relaxed my mind since I enjoyed it a little bit, its the first time in a while that I wasn't troubled by anything. Exept sleep of course. So I can at least relax my mind

Hmm...

Somehow I get to miss that dragonewt form, I wasn't even able to see if I could fly...

In the first place, how could I even fly?

Angels, winged demi-human and other stuffs flutter their wings in weird ways, I just dont get the logic behind it

Birds flutter their wings and balance because of their tail wings. The same goes to airplanes

The last game I played was related to military like Tanks, Aviation warplanes and naval warships, so I had a little trouble imagining it when it comes to reality...

I know that a plane will swooosh swooosh spin when its tail wings got cut off while in air, I saw it as I got shot down by an AA(anti-aircraft) turret, Err my frustration that time

Depending on speed, propeller and maneuverability you could handle to atleast land safely with just that, similary to the jets, but unlike jets which are designed for that single winged style, you can't possibly do so with the little power of a propeller engine and without the balancing help of a tail wings. Also if ever with luck and wide main wings, you can't maneuver it anymore since the tail handles the going up or down control

Now that I remember, even jets have tail wings, rarely some faster jets only have one wing

Also a plane could also easily fly and go horizontally because of the propeller or force

Oh, its just like drones and helicopters, no... actually its best like that if I were to compare it with the mid-air winged people variety. But if I try to imagine the logic directly with wings... hmm...

Wait! now that I think of it. What if its only temporary? and will never come back again!?

Eiiih...

I got taken aback by that thought and slowly I felt that tears formed at the edge of my eyes...

"Muuuh..." somehow I felt like my body was even more sensitive to emotions, it actually paired with my expressive inner-personality

I'm not good at expressing myself with words, so my inner-personality became a little more expressive by actions

I wiped my eyes for a bit, it's probbably bad if people could just simply read my face. This is another world afterall. But either way I'm barely expressive in front of other people. I also likes to feign ignorance as much as possible and mostly avoid troubles

My facial expression screams of 'You can kill each other, just dont mind me here'

But it's too different when I'm alone... actually its only when I'm alone that I'm like this...

I just got too used to 'People will never get you if they are not interested'

Its sad but I'm just like that, you cant just push yourselves to others. I too consider showing it when it reached the point where we get each other, or when people get close to be exact

But at most I'm just stoic and barely expressive...

It might have been a weird thing to remember this after all that happened before. I guess it's already too late for that...

Hmm... the room was still visible... actually it's dark like black but... I can see just fine... it has no window for any other lights to come in

Hmm... so my night vision isn't like any other night vision like those goggles and animal eyes

They require sufficient amount of light to atleast be able to see, their eyes or lenses were sensitive to light but mine was the other way around where it doesn't require light at all

Eyes naturally receive light via irises and it reads the light before sending to brain... uh uh I wasnt just sleeping in class, I learned something too...

I stood up from the bed and reached the door knob

*fuuuuuuh*

Uhm? I heard a soft and calm breathing, it was soft to point that I got entrance by it for a bit

I looked at the direction and saw Mayrine sleeping calmly under the cover with her head peeking out, for once I got reminded by how good she looked, It came to me before that maybe I should change the way I perceive beauty, but it's just a hard thing to do considering how the things have been for me so far

Hehehe Its cute, she has lost all her earlier trance and she's now just a defenceless girl

I wanna pinch that cheek and claim it mine

I turned the knob and reached the hallway, now that I've been thinking of it, I forgot the term they said to be a corridor, It's wide but I should have considered it

It has only four rooms in it, and I was wondering if it was actually any lesser than the possible number of passengers

I walked out of it still troubled about my lack of words. I'm well aware of my doubtful capability to remember things

I reached the outside after opening the door and was now greeted by the nightly scenery, the deck felt more like a terrace in front of a dark night shoreline

Everything I can see was more of dark-ish night blue dyed scenery, it has beauty on its own, and it's exactly what I longed more...

I suddenly got an idea that ran across my mind

I reached for the side railings and took a peek under, looking to the night blue waters that waved endlessly as it hit the ship

Just as I expected, I can see through it, however I could not perceive any more deeper as it only ends in an endless dark color

The mysteries of the sea might have been the hardest thing to solve even after having an extra ordinary capability or skills

Even I would be weirded out if I could ever see the whole sea till the sea floor as if it was a clear glass, its too much to wish for, and also its definitely creepy seing something like floating fish and other creatures

I heaved a sigh, but I felt like I was lost once again

I relaxed for a bit, but I felt tensed up once again when suddenly a light focused directly at me

Its the same as those police car chase movie scenes or the watchtower jailbreak scenes...

Somehow I felt conflicted... nuu Fbi!?

As I calmed myself for abit, I hear a small voice coming right above me

"Xylene?"

Uh? I turned and look at the source, right above me, no, above the room there is a railing, and I saw a familiar face, it's Erin

Confused, I looked back to the source of light

I was relived that my eyes won't just burn by the sight of light even after the night vision, but I'm slill not happy by it

Of course your eyes may not burn by it, but for something like pointing it directly at your face, that, obviously would hurt...

I tried to cover my eyes till when I heard Erin's voice closer by me

"Xylene, why are you here?"

He went by my side and waved at source of the light, soon after, it went on other direction

That somehow felt like a light tower

"Why are you here Xylene, I thought you would be sleeping?"

"Oh? uh..., I wasn't actually sleepy" I answered as he seems to be looking the the floor

"Hmm, well its good that it wasn't wet. Make sure to take caution next time"

"Umm? Sure" I was wondering why but soon I remembered about the earlier rain. It might have been long enough that its now gone

Oh I see, You might fall off the sea if you got an accident with it

I should probbably take caution next time

"Hmm... well it would've been better if you met father"

"Just follow me..."

Erin led the way as I watched him walk to one side of it, from there I saw a very steep stair, well it wasn't high stepped but it barely looked like stairs and its probbably better to say that it's already a ladder

"Just up there, be careful"

Erin guided me there, he went above it first and waved me to follow

Somehow I got curious about it, I followed him and noticed the railing got something to support the back from falling.

That much I felt safe enough

I made it above and saw a big adult man standing there near an obelisk that has a wheel, Ah it was the steering wheel, what's it called again?

The man chucked slightly by the sight of my bewilderment

"Xylene huh? well hello to you young miss"

"Oh... ah..." I wasn't able to respond to a quick conversation

He's an adult man way above even my older self that was around 5'7, he's actually got well build compared to my past life, errr... it's not even close to it

There was only one lamp there just nearby hanging above the roof, the place felt more of a squared Gazebo if I was to say it, The sight of multiple ropes just around and the wooden railings around, also it could be similar to a watch tower as it was considerably wide like a room

The sight of an actual captain's deck, wonderful. I might even laugh at my history teachers right now

I was waved to get closer. There, I got tensed up abit

I timidly went closer to the adult man who was Erin's father...

Somehow I couldn't understand his airs, but I do feel slight familiarity to it... but not enough to understand it

The main Guilds were Merchant's Guild, Adventurer's Guild, Wizard's Guild, and Mercenary Guilds.

There is a rule that you are able to join most of them but you must rack up a sufficient amount contributions to avoid getting removed.
