A Swear under the Moonlight

"Muaaaah" I woke up on the bed, Yesterday I slept the whole afternoon after eating lunch, then dinner before eventually sleeping again.

The deer meat was dried since yesterday, after draining the blood and removing the Innards I managed to somehow cut them just fine before hanging them to dry off.

It seems that I woke up at night since I don't hear the birds chirping, after leaving the cave just outside, I saw the moon for the first time... I don't originally sleep early as I was more of a night person, however since the existance of monsters lurking within the forest was there, I tried to sleep early. But since I slept the afternoon, I was wide awake right now. The moon was nearing its Full moon, strangely enough there was a small looking st-ar? or a planet? near it? could it be a satellite moon? I wasn't knowledgeable about astronomy but looking at the size of both of them, you can say that they are pretty close to this planet, you can even say that this planet is pretty big, they even size like a ping pong ball and a tennis ball at one quarter of a meter eye distance. Too much fictional yet real, The brilliant stars are also dazzling on this cloudless night

This world... Its pretty silent. I cant hear a static sound when theres no sound around, It was just silent. The rustling sound of the tree leaves and swinging branches can be heard under the moonlight. Truly a breath taking view, far more different from my old dimly lit room with a dull colored ceiling where I usually spend my whole night.

I wonder what galaxy are we in, or have they already invented a way to explore the space?. The status of this world's technology still remained unknown to me, but with the existance of this soul system its weird to say that it looked advance, you can even mistake it as a sci-fi if not for the forest I'm currently in. I miss the EDM at this type of events, usually I listen to music at these hour, thinking about either myself, the day, and sometimes the future.

"Status" I recall the system, the system seems well built as it doesn't seem to respond without the keywords, I recall having the appraisal skill before, but I remember that I only used it once to check the Fire Crystal. What was the key word for it? Identify? but I havent voiced it out loud, could it be that my conciousness wanted it and the system responds?

I turned to look at the ground, down a strand of grass growing near to where I was sitting. I tried thinking of wanting to know more about it...

Heh, so it was a Mana grass, I dont know anything else regarding It. Aah! Maybe I can experiment It later on! I just had to get proper materials and tools for it. There seems to be an infinite source here so I should be able to do alot of things with them

For now, I should think on how I would be able to strengten myself, maybe I need to level up my Appraisal skill, do I really need to think for it to be used? maybe its because of growth and I dont have that skill before!? ah I need to know the keyword...

"Theres actually more to that? can I organize the status I wonder?. Ah wait I can!" Opening close the tabs like Stats, Combat Arts, Assassination Arts, and Senses I lessen the view. Then I noticed the disalignment of some skill that doesn't have a level

Seing the definitions I turn to look around to test my eye sight, strangely enough it indeed changed alot, also happening to look around the forest, I really can see things although they are still dark the figures are actually transmitted. I was imagining of seing things with a green view or when the night suddenly became daylight at my vision... too bad I guess they are just fictitious

My guesses regarding these skills is that I acquired them on the old world, my senses before I died became dull, as Ive lived a gray themed life I just disregard my senses and just do things as they are supposed to be, even my body is giving up as I didn't care about it anymore. But back when I was a little younger, when I still care for my body, Its true that I had a sharp sense on both Vision and Hearing, When I threw those metal rods, from flying till crashing to grounds I carefully observed it. I was often lectured because what I do is dangerous, its true that it can kill since it was metal and thrown at a speed similar to a javelin, I was the embodiment of it afterall. My sneaking developed along with my hearing senses as I tried to conceal my presence as much as possible. So much effort as a child if I say so myself. I was sort of an enthusiast as a child, experimenting, searching, and trying multiple different things..., till I arrived at the end where all of them crumble down

I sigh, no matter what I do I just can't seal all of these memories, I always envied those people who can do things that they liked, those people that had freedom. At first its just being free that I envied to them, but in the end I even envied their smiles. As Ive grown up I only ever frowned and never smiled. I just cant smile, or more like I forgot how to smile. I never had a photo of myself, I never smiled on any or every photos that have me, you can say that only the chat version of me can smile while I can't.

"Haaah, The Sovereign of Envy definitely came from these old me, the bad feeling within me already disappeared, my heart is strangely calm than when I last remembered" Finding out about the origin of envy, I can say that its true afterall. This system, a strange phenomena yet may probbably something else. I was weirded out when I was born here, I can say that I was also glad. If ever I wanted to be happy at least yeah... thats definitely it

"Yup, Ive finally found a reason to live, Ill do my best to be happy at this new world" Raising my arms in the air, I made a declaration. Soon after I felt a moist in my cheeks

I should act up as a girl more *sniff*. lets call it a day now" having calmed myself, I decided to finally stand up and head back to the cave
