Once Eredeti and Kanied regrouped with the other 2 they continued towards the gates of the main area where a long line of people and carriages trying to enter could be seen and as they walked passed people looked at them with curiously and glaring at them while others could be heard talking about the group

"Why can they pass the inspection!" A man said

"Who do they think they are" A woman said

"Hmph what a bunch of self entitled bastards" another man said

While most of the group ignored it Steve and Balderic would instantly look towards the people they heard talking down to them and glare at them menacingly while others ignored it some tried to glare back with a distasteful expression

"Hmph If they knew why we were here maybe they'd be thankful or maybe even showering us with praise and gifts by now" Balderic said

"I agree those selfish fools need a good smack in the face" Steve said

"Calm down you two, of course people would be aggravated after waiting all day in this weather" Kanied said

"Honestly just ignore them" Eredeti said

"Fine" both Balderic and Steve said

Once they reached the inspection point a guard who saw the arrival of Kanied from afar let them pass without a word and when they finally entered the sight Eredeti was marvelous it was a beautiful and clean city with a bustling scenery with kids running around and adults going about their daily task with the streets and roads leading higher and higher to the center of it the castle of the king while Eredeti was admiring the sight he could only think of one word to describe it was

"Beautiful" Eredeti said

"Truly beautiful"

"Indeed my boy it is quite a sight to see, No matter how many times I've been here it always amazes me" Kanied said

"I've only been here once before, but nevertheless it's still a sight to see" Steve said

"Speak for yourself I would've preferred a bit more green in this environment" Balderic said

While they were speaking amongst themselves and man that was 2 meters tall who had a short brown beard with brown hair and silver eyes walked up to them and they all immediately turned to him to listen in

"Excuse me, Sir Kanied, I presume" The man said

"Indeed it is, May I ask who you are young man" Kanied said

"Of course sir, My name is Eric, Commander of the 4rth battalion of defense and war" Eric said

"I assume the king request our presence considering he sent someone of you caliber?" Kanied asked

"Indeed sir, His highness is currently awaiting your arrival" Eric said

"Alright, I guess that's our queue to go now isn't" Kanied replied

"Welp we had our fun I guess it's time for formalities" Steve said

"I guess it is" Eredeti replied

While the commander Eric escorted them to the kings throne room a crow with shiny red eyes watched as an old man sitting on an throne made of pure black gold who had pure black hair with a scar on his face with only one eye

Although he was old he didn't look like it, He only appeared to be in his late 20s or early 30s as he watched the events unfolding before him, he wished the crow to fly a little closer but it flew a little to close as it hit something hard and instantly disappeared into black mist and quickly fading

"Damnit!" The man said

"Damn that old grey bastard him and his magic" He said

While the commander was escorting them Kanied noticed a slight bounce on the barrier he help put up many years ago and looked to see black mist quickly disappearing into the air his expression then shown a slight smirk

'Hah that damned crow got a little to curious' Kanied thought

Kanied then continued on like nothing happened however Eredeti also felt something and saw the mist disappearing although he didn't think much of it and when he looked at Kanied who seemed care free he thought it really wasn't anything

'Well I guess it doesn't matter'

Once the commander lead them to the castle he was greeted by a knight who was a few inches taller with silver hair and red eyes when Eredeti saw this he turned to Kanied and when their gazes met

"Don't worry my boy that is the kings royal guard" Kanied said

Eredeti felt a little relived at Kanied's words but nevertheless was still on guard and as the Eric and the royal guard were finished talking the guard went to introduce herself to the group of 4 people

"Hello my name is Ezari the commander of the royal knights, It's a pleasure to meet you 4" Ezari said with a soft and gentle tone of voice

"Nice to meet you again little Ezari" Kanied said

"Likewise" Ezari said

As everyone introduced themselves and were acquainted Eric continued to lead them to the throne room with Ezari in tow while he was in front of Eredeti who couldn't stop staring at him suspiciously and as his curiosity grew as to why Ezari had red eyes

When they were being escorted to their objective Eredeti saw many, many guards stationed all around the halls some on surveillance some patrolling on shifts to Eredeti this all seemed to be a display of power or how valuable the king was to this country

After 15 minutes of walking they finally arrived at the throne room with a guard on each side of the massive door that seemed to be more of a gate once the 2 saw the group they didn't question who it was as they have already been given the order to let them in

Once the door slowly opened Eredeti saw how massive the room was, it was decorated extravagantly with many pictures and gold lining's on the walls as the throne reached the celling with 4 large tables and guards all around that had pure white armor with blue lining as they all had a faint glow of blue under their helmets

'How beautiful and strange' Eredeti said

The royal guards however immediately shivered when Eredeti walked in almost fearing for themselves as they let out a cold aura and breath while all of them kneeled the instant the door opened and revealed his presence while the king could only look strangely towards his knights and to the new group of visitors

'That's strange my connection to my royal guards is faltering' Arthas thought to himself

Arthas didn't pay much attention to this for he had a group of guest arriving in front of him, the group then immediately walked closer to the king who was just as tall as his royal guard with white hair and a beard with pure yellow eyes that looked like a hail of thunder striked and his very presence screamed attention and a superior aura overwhelmed them

The royal guard Ezari and the commander Eric Immediately kneeled and Eredeti, Balderic and Steve followed out of respect and to not make any unnecessary problem meanwhile Kanied stood and refused to bow however the king didn't say a word of this and neither have his knights who extruded a deathly aura did anything and to the first to break the silence was Kanied

"My my King Zoldivolk you look a lot better than the little boy I once knew" Kanied said

Once the rest heard Kanied they were all equally as shocked as one another

"Hmph it seems you are still alive you old fool" The king said

"Now enough formalities Arthas get on with the business at hand" Kanied said

"Very well, As you have all probably wondered by now as to why I have requested your presence" Arthas said

"To put it in lamest terms I require not only support but your assistance in the up coming battle of the continent of Amanthel, As you have probably seen by now the dark lords forces have risen and have made numerous camps and settlements near the borders of Amanthel" Arthas explained

"However sending my own army would not only start the war prematurely but it would very well end in my defeat, so instead I have chosen to call upon a small elite force to slow down Emanthel from fully recovering until all the necessary arrangements have been made" Arthas continued

"So I have asked Kanied to find talented people from close to far lands and he has come up with you 3 warriors and as my support I have entrusted my royal commander and the defense and war commander to you I ensure you that they will prove valuable" Arthas said

The 2 commanders were not the least bit surprised since they have already been told of this arrangement beforehand and everything the king has said made sense to them all even though they weren't expecting to be made warriors to hold back the invasion

"As the first target we wish for you take care of one of the most formidable creatures known to man" Arthas said before a pause

'Finally my chance to avenge my family!' Steve thought to himself while holding back a tear and biting his lip with all his anger

"Baloug the flame apostle, The very dragon who has once brung down a kingdom by his lonesome but fret not for I shall send you 20 of my best men along with you" Arthas said

'WHAT?!' Eredeti thought to himself
