Chapter 2 Freedom

In the middle of the azmodios continent a tremor was felt that sent shock waves through out the entire continent many thought the world was ending others thought that god was finally giving judgement upon them

but it stopped as fast as it started and in one corner of this continent was a small kingdom named the Zodivolk kingdom

it was a relatively small kingdom known for its fertile lands and it's wealth in trade it was also known as a main trading hub so many merchants and traders came here, however the greed of mankind caused many foreign lands to lust after its power and wealth

And it was because of this kingdoms treasures and land that many wars were waged but the small kingdom always remained and their armies continued to grow stronger but never waged war on another

So people started to see this kingdom as a kind but powerful realm but in reality they decided not to cause unnecessary conflict with the other kingdoms and lands they have been neighboring with because they have very deep alliances with a rather large empire that was feared by all

As the neighboring kingdoms waited and waited for Zodivolk to weaken to strike, however the kingdom never weakened and in fact the opposite had occurred morale could not be higher and the strength of their forces kept increasing

After surviving all those wars and having constant prosperity rumors of their power spread and It is now said that just one regular foot soldier of the Zodivolk kingdom was equal to that of 10 foot soldiers of the surrounding area

And the average citizen lived 2-3 times longer than a normal human it is because of this mighty army and evolved human race that the kingdom has been standing for so long and no one dares to wage war on this kingdom

For only a fool would greed after their riches knowing they could never hope to even lay their eyes upon it, it is in this very kingdom that a messenger was seen running through the halls of a exquisite castle he reached a 20 meter tall and 5 meter wide gate with guards standing on both sides

But before he could reach the gate he was pushed back by one of the guards

"State your business messenger!" they demanded

which he quickly responded "please I must immediately speak to the king I am here on official business from the high priest"

the guards looked at each other nervously before saying "Very well" and let him past through, once inside the messenger was greeted to a extremely huge throne room surrounded by guards and a man sitting on a throne the messenger quickly knelt down and said "My king"

"Speak messenger Galias, But know if it is something not of grave importance I will have your head" the king said in a dignified manner

"Of course, Your highness" the messenger said

Although nervous he continued to report to the king "My king the holy head priest has said he received a message from god warning us of a grave darkness coming to our lands"

the king however shocked to hear the message come from the head priest kept a expressionless face "Hmm I see, I must personally go and see what that old geezer is talking about Galias you are free to leave"

although he had a care free tone of voice the king was very nervous because he knew every message he had received from the head priest came to past and he would be a fool not to listen to him

"Yes my king" Galias said before quickly leaving

While this was happening a woman wearing all white with a deep blonde hair that looked like gold she also had rather long and pointy ears and atop her head rested a golden crown she then suddenly fell to her knees saying "It seems a great darkness is upon us"

At the same time a man who could only be described as a tall demon wearing pure black armor which looked like it was made of smoke and shadows and a golden shimmer was seen on his finger that was glowing red said "Finally I'm free!" his voice made the world around him shake like lightning and struck fear into all those around

A man who looked to be in his mid 40s or early 50s looked up and said "Another war for the rings is upon us it seems"

Meanwhile when the ball of light was escaping a huge cloud of darkness that was dark green and pure black in color was forming over the forest of nightmares

The ball of light suddenly saw a crack then another as it slowly shattered and he soon saw a little hole he then went through it still feeling sad and angry as he went through it

as he was leaving the clouds of darkness started to condense and create a body

It created a man that was 2.2 meters tall and who looked to be in his early to mid 20s but what was weird about this man was he had no face, in fact he had no distinguishing features it was just a body made of darkness

once the ball of light exited the hole he was greeted with a sound of a familiar male voice saying 'Wrath powering on' it showed a loading screen and a bar that was slowly being filled and a percent to the right saying '37% complete 49%....64%...77%....93%.... Wrath system on' the ball of light was curious of what it was but was interrupted by it asking 'Would host like to see message left by the creator?' He was speechless and all he could say was 'Yes'

When it started he immediately realized it was the voice of his beloved friend 'Hey before I disappear completely I realized we both didn't have names so I decided to name myself wrath as I was born of your hatred and I decided your name should be Eredeti Since your the original of the two of us I guess I should also explain what this is, I made this to combine and condense all the souls of the things you've killed within your own soul making you stronger every time you kill something although it gets less effective the stronger you get and you can also stop any part of the process if you want to and I made the other half of me something that keeps up with all the knowledge you learn of yourself and of your surroundings that also keeps up with how strong you are so get stronger and stronger so we never live through that again and don't mourn over my loss because I'm right here with you so go and explore, and I'm sure that whatever place you ended up in you'll have fun' [End Message]

'Yea ill live on for both of us and from now on I'm known as Eredeti' he said with a hint of sadness

*sigh* 'cant be sad forever so-' as he was about to think something he heard a strange ring sound and saw what appeared to be a black and green piece of paper floating [Say Wrath to activate system] 'Hmm alright I guess I should see what he made me shouldn't I' Eredeti said as he continued to say

'Wrath' as he said that he watched as a transparent black and green window popped up

As Eredeti looked down the list he saw that Appraise had a more info button on it and asked wrath about it 'Wrath how do I see the Appraise skill more?' Eredeti asked confused

'You can say more info or touch it with your finger' Wrath said in robotic tone

'Hmm I see' Eredeti thought as he quickly said 'More info'

Right when he thought this Wrath interrupted saying 'Host body complete please choose body features'

once Eredeti heard this he immediately turned his head and saw a menu showing things like facial hair, eye color etc he chose short black hair with a clean fade and emerald green eyes along with small lips and a stern looking face once he was finished with changing the face he was sucked into the body

Once he was in the body he immediately opened his eyes and started gasping for air if anyone was around it might have looked like he just got revived he then got up and a flood of information flooded his mind giving him a general knowledge about everything like what animals looked like ,fire, trees water etc once it stopped he got up and looked at his surroundings and saw he was surrounded by trees he immediately wanted to hear his own voice and tried to talk

"hah hello" he jumped at his own voice because he wasn't expecting that he would sound exactly like how wrath did 'Well it makes sense he was a part of me after all'

Eredeti then started to walk to the closest tree and sat down to start thinking about what his priorities should be

'First things first I need food and water so I can survive so the safest bet right now would be to find a river of some sort' Eredeti then stood up and started walking hoping he would find a river,

After walking for some time Eredeti started to see the light of the sun and quickly ran to try and see if he could see the sun he arrived on a ledge of a little hill and once he saw the sun he couldn't help but smile he thought how beautiful it looked Erediti shortly after he got up and continued his search

He eventually started hearing water so he increased his speed and hit a water fall that was around 10 meters high and he immediately jumped in not caring for anything else

*Splash*

he almost screamed because when he hit the water he felt a extreme feeling of coldness but that didn't stop him from being as happy as could be,

'If only wrath was here with me' Although wrath said not to mourn him he still felt sad that someone he considered a brother died

Eredeti then slapped himself and said out load "No he sacrificed himself so I could experience something like this I shouldn't be sad" Eredeti then started gulping water and heard a ring

Although Eredeti no longer felt tired but he felt rather hungry so he than gathered himself together and decided it was time to go get something to eat
