9 Next Phase...

Theo looked at where Charlotte went, before letting out a long sigh. It was a task considered difficult to teach a person who took time to understand what he considered basic... He considered the same thing as teaching basic mathematics to a stone, she took a long time to understand and understand the functionality behind the basic symbols that he taught.

Of course he didn't teach the function of the symbol he used to do a passive brainwashing, he just said it was essential. It didn't matter if she used it close to other people but him anymore, because she already saw him as a superior being, so it's as if that symbol just made her admire his image even more, even from afar.

He turned and sat on the floor.

'Very well... Now it's time to see what's next...' Theo thought, when he learned that he had reached as much as he needed, while he reached out, and once again, the familiar rectangle appeared.

[Name: Theo.

Race: Lich weakened. Souls: 4/30

Life: -/- Mana: 5000 / 5000.

Strength: 120 Resistance: 150

Magic Power: 240 Magic Resistance: 270]

He knew he could keep cultivating, but chose to find out what the new thing he would learn would be. He knew that he had already reached the density necessary to move on to the next phase and see the next point. Doing the rectangle in front of him to disappear into the air, he sat in lotus position while concentrating.

His skeleton body began to pull all qi and mana around his body at a staggering pace as he began to float across the ground, which began to crack and disintegrate by the mana and qi accumulated around him.

The flames of his eyes went out as he found himself again looking at the landscape within his soul. His vision approached the second point as he looked at it with admiration. He let out an anxious sigh he didn't even know he was holding while touching at that little point.

Unlike the previous one, when he touched that point, the point seemed to darken a lot, while it seemed to suck all the light around. Even he felt a tug, while thousands of information appeared in his mind.

His vision darkened as he looked at everything that was going into his head... The whole place was dark, so dark that even the best of lanterns couldn't light more than a foot ahead. He felt an icy wind as he focused on all the information he had received, while in his vision he faced something else.

When he touched the point and his vision darkened, he seemed to be trapped in a kind of black palace, which seemed to have been made of pure obsidiana. The palace was simple, with little or none draws, just the brilliance that looked like it had been made of a black metal with reflective properties.

Theo's eyes wandered through this huge palace, which seemed too simple for its size. When he looked down, he noticed that he had a body, different from when he was in his soul landscape. But his body was not from a skeleton, let alone his previous body. He looked more like a child. He couldn't see his facial features much less his hair, so he didn't know what it looked like.

But his skin was white to the point of pallor, while his nails were long and black. His black veins contrasted with the whiteness of his skin when his vision wandered through the clothes he was wearing. The same robe he picked up after becoming a Lich entered his vision as he looked from top to bottom at it, which appeared to be on a smaller scale.

'How strange...' He thought, as he took a step forward, a little swayed by having become accustomed to his skeleton body, he almost tripped. 'I got used to Lich's body so easily that I'm not used to walking being a human anymore...' He thought, as he walked and got used to his footsteps gradually.

Arriving at the huge closed entrance of the palace, he held out his small hands as his long nails passed through the material that the door was made and felt its texture with the palm of his hand. He pushed, but the door didn't move.

He pushed harder, but even using his two hands, there were no effects on the door. Moving away a bit and lifting his leg, he kicked while closing his eyes by reflex like any normal human while giving a strong kick without training. But as soon as he opened his eyes, everything was gone, while the information at the point had been completely absorbed by his brain.

'What the hell was that?! Apparently I need to get to the next point soon if I want to know what it was...' Theo thought.

He felt his soul become denser with each passing second, as he was able to feel the strength of his soul, something he did not feel before. His soul seemed to try to suck it along with everything around him. He looked at it for a moment, before turning his thoughts to the knowledge that he just get.

'A domain huh...' He thought, while looking at it as a considerable increase in strength. 'Besides... Isn't that something that could be considered a cheat?' Once again, he gained two different knowledge. But this time it was one skill involving mana and the other involving Qi.

The mana skill was something impressive, something not even the best wizards could reproduce. Even searching the grandiose memories of the old necromancer, only a selected number of people could do that. Some were not particularly strong, but whenever they turned on this skill, they became completely different people in matters of strength.

Their powers became monstrously big, people who previously could not bear the weight of a sword, with this skill, could destroy an entire house with just one punch, and not only that, the mages with it received a qualitative increase in their magical powers and prowess. Even the old necromancer had only managed to defeat two.

And that with the help of his entire army... The old necromancer was able to reproduce this same ability after many years of research, but still lacked in comparison to the true one, something that could not be obtained by normal means, something that was only obtained by luck at birth or given to strong beings. That was one of the old man's ambitions to long to become a Lich.

Theo couldn't help but want to smile extensively at it, he saw what the old man went through only to get a small percentage of that power, and due to the old man's efforts, he sympathized and saw that this power was not something to play with... And there was still something, what he had received... It was different.

He didn't know how, but while the one the old man had created was missing something, this one had something else... He couldn't say what was it and he couldn't talk for sure unless he used it for once. According to the knowledge obtained, the name of this technique was... 'Vacuum Domain'. He didn't know why those names were, but he thought it would be the best, because he didn't have the creativity to make his skills names...

As for the second skill... Once again, it looked like something out of a famous anime... He was able to feel everything around him, even the small movements of electrical pulses of other people's neurons would not come out of his perception. And that extended about 20 meters around him.

Besides, he knew he wouldn't spend anything at all using it, other than his concentration. Then he could keep it active for as long as he want. This ability has been named 'Void Perception'.

Although this ability cost absolutely nothing, he did not know about his first, all he knew was what it did and that it affected a large area, perhaps just over a kilometer. He once again received a considerable increase in power.

'I'm getting too strong in a short time... Maybe I should go to other places soon... I'm getting a little bored here... Although the feeling of cultivating is extremely satisfactory, I don't want to be stuck with it...' Theo thought, as he left his inner landscape.

......

-A few minutes before Theo awakened from his meditation.-

As soon as Theo started floating... Something different started happening, something... Strange. Mana and Qi were going crazy, while leaving a black aura around him completely perceptive even to non-practitioners of magic and Qi.

The two energies turned around him, as they seemed to spiral around him, like a completely awful aura. Below him, the ground began to deteriorate and disintegrate insantly fast, as he floated even higher.

Soon, few lightinings mingled the aura, giving an even more

frightening appearance to what was happening. Each lightining that escaped from his aura and fell on a tree, completely decimated that tree, leaving no trace that had ever been a tree in place.

The sky began to darken, while the grass of the forest began to become dark in color, along with the leaves of the trees. Gradually, from the trunks of the trees, lightning began to rotate, as if they were strong generators of energy out of control.

In the sky, blacker than ordinary clouds began to form, filling the sky of darkness, while in the clouds, the same lightinings began to appear violently, as if a strong storm were to fall over the place.

Thunder occasionally fell, when a loud, that made a the ear hurt, frightened any and all animals that were still in place. Only the noise of thunder falling on the ground was enough to shake the place. The lightinings, once light blue, began to get darker, little by little, as they became completely black.

The whole place seemed to be consumed by darkness. If anyone saw this place, it would probably run out in the same second, but unfortunately, or fortunately, the only witness to this event was the skeleton floating in what appeared to be the center of the event, while its black aura with black thunder around it made it look like a great demon that came out of its rest and was ready to take over the whole world.

The sound of thunder in the clouds adhering to the harbinger of a great gust of rain, the Lich at the center of it all remained calm, while some black thunder descended from the sky toward him as some kind of celestial tribulation, but all the thunder did not seem to disturb his meditative pose, when they seemed to join and strengthen the strange aura that surrounded him.

His aura began to grow as it reached the sky completely, when the clouds esgained their black aura around them. The thunders seemed to calm down, when they no longer descended to the ground, while from the sky, black flakes began to appear, like a black snow.

The flakes that touched the Lich's strange aura melted into a transparent liquid, before dripping on the ground as if they were water. The leaves were soon filled with the strange black snow, which mingled with its leaves as black as. While the grass was filled completely with this strange snow.

The process continued, when some lightining occasionally fell to the ground and opened a small hole, which was soon filled by the large amount of black snow.

While everything was going on, the Lich's aura seemed to gather into his body again when the lightinings ceased. The black flames in the Lich's eyes appeared again, while the falling black snow quickly changed from color to white, like normal snow, including snow from the ground.

The once-black grasses were again green, along with the leaves of the trees. The Lich began to descend from its flotation as it landed on the ground where there was supposed to be a small crater, but which was filled with snow, which kept falling.

Theo reached out. "Snow? It's the first time I've seen snow..." He said, excited, as he sat and picked up some snow and made a little ball. Throwing the ball hard into a nearby tree, the ball opened a hole in the tree, before crashing into the next one. "Good!" He said, while he wanted to smile, but his skeletal semblance betrayed him.

Reaching out his hand, the same known rectangle formed in front of him.

[Name: Theo.

Race: Lich weakened. Souls: 4 / 30

Life: -/- Mana: 10000 / 10000.

Strength: 280 Resistance: 300

Magic Power: 500 Magic Resistance: 600]

"Wow! That's a lot!" He thought, while looking at it. According to that, he could already be considered an average mage according to his strength.

.....

At the same time, in a purple castle in a nearby kingdom, a girl with long purple hair and sharp black eyes looked at that place, her eyebrow frowning, as if she were looking for something, but soon her expression calmed down...

'It must have been my imagination... There shouldn't be someone that strong anymore...' She thought, while throwing events to the back of her mind.
