1 Prologue

At the beginning of the Age of the Gods, a war broke out.

The reason is very simple and petty. Everyone wanted to dominate, everyone wanted to demonstrate their power but most importantly, everyone wanted fame and power.

The reason.

A full-scale war broke out in the world.

Hundreds of thousands of races fought for absolute dominance. It's stupid.

The gods shed the blood of their subjects to achieve their goals, with a promise of glory for those who achieve it and fame for those who appear to be fulfilling their sworn duty. Serve their creators.

The fight lasted hundreds of years, but in the end, no one won. But that's not why it's not important.

The gods forgot one detail. A small eh insignificant detail that no one had noticed.

That no one had considered. They forgot about the possibility of dying.

The gods with their great powers were arrogant, their longevity made them believe that they can live forever and thanks to their gifts they were invincible. But they were wrong.

The gods are not eternal, and they are not all-powerful either.

One day, while what would be the last battle that would end the age of the gods was unleashed, something happened.

The skies blackened.

The earth trembled and the weather changed.

The seas churned and when everyone searched for the reason for this abrupt change, a shout was welcome for the beginning of the end.

The god of light screamed in agony and his blood fell to the ground.

Darkness completely covered the world. The beings of chaos.

Those races that represented evil shouted with joy and ecstasy, knowing that the greatest rival of their creator and leader of the alliance of the enemy gods.

But then another scream arose.

They all recognized it. It was the evil god who screamed in agony, but instead of a darling what he said was a word.

MERCY!!!!!! PLEASE MERCY!!!!

That was the last time his voice was heard.

The next thing you know, the war is over and what is known as the era of extinction began.

Without any hesitation. Regardless of who you were, where you came from, and whom you served, Death caught up with them all.

A mass extinction occurred, and the stars fell from the sky, silencing all those who participated in this stupid war for power at the cost of the blood of their enemies.

Who was responsible for such a massacre? The answer is simpler than it seems, or you are willing to accept.

Like a person you saw on the streets, like the friend who visited you or the brother with whom you lived.

He was your father, he was your friend, he was your boyfriend, and he was also the one you saw for the last time before he hugged you in his warm arms before they felt your whole body rest for the last time.

The winner of this war was none other than everyone's best friend.

Beautiful, indifferent.

A sentimental friend and sworn enemy of all.

Since death will always come, and he is so sure of his victory that he gives you a lifetime advantage.

Those who survived such a calamity were only because death decided so, and the excuse he gave for those who asked him was simple.

- "If you are alive, it is not because you decided so, but I must remind you that your time has not come since I have to show you that love is not just a word and that my friend shows that the path you have chosen was the best you have."

The end.

Inside a room that is not very decorated but not for that reason fantastic, a man of more than 100 years reclined in his seat, sighed, and exhaled.

The book in his hands was a story given to him about 50 years ago by what he believed at the time to be his best friend.

Whenever he could, he read it, since the story behind the tale reminded him of the harsh truth behind life. That's why he thought it was better to enjoy the little details.

A lemon candy was what he ate, and the satisfaction he felt when tasting the candy was something that he enjoyed.

It's not that he believed in gods like Muggles did or believed that this so-called age of gods ever passed, or there are records of the so-called extinction. It was just another book that told a fascinating story about the power it could do and the consequences of taking the wrong path.

The director of the largest school of magic and sorcery in the world got up from his seat and went directly to the office of his second-in-command, who by now should have finished writing the acceptance letters for the new students of this school year.

With his signature and seal, a new generation will be born, and it was his duty to supervise as dictated by his position.

In a small fishing village on the coast next to Great Britain, a boy was having a delicious coffee while reading the newspaper.

THE UNION OF SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLICS HAS BROKEN OFF ITS INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS AND CLOSED ITS BORDERS

For the little boy who was celebrating his 11th birthday, this news did not impact him, unlike his neighbors who were reading the same newspaper.

His name was Ariel Flak, formerly Alex Brawn, and he was reincarnated.

His life began as that of a baby who after losing his parents at the tender age of 2 and having no other living relatives according to state records was sent to an orphanage.

During all this time, Ariel dedicated his life to the continuous improvement of his cognitive and physical abilities, preparing for the future.

Thanks to the memories that he brought back from his previous life, he knew that he still had his golden finger, and that made his life easier than it already was.

Like any child who proves to be out of the ordinary, Ariel was known as a genius and the next man responsible for the next step for the betterment of humanity.

With 5 years of life, Ariel published several investigations (from his previous life) that helped to solve various problems in biology, physics, and chemistry.

Winner of 3 Nobel Prizes, including the Peace Prize after publishing a solution to end the thousand-year-old war between Palestinians and Israelis, achieving it months after its publication.

Ariel was the most famous child of the moment, and the story does not end there.

Five years ago, he discovered a peculiar fact that led him to discover the existence of magic. For the first time since his transmigration, he acted like a child.

Over time and making his new skills, he began to gain fame under the identity of an adult wizard whose face was unknown.

He soon discovered to his disappointment that the magical world he expected was not what he believed, and he quickly abandoned the idea of being a part of wizarding society and focused on his studies while enjoying his second life.

Ariel was walking through the crowded streets of that town and turning a corner suddenly appeared behind a building so large that it looked like a mansion. Going up the stairs of the entrance, there he saw the woman who had taken care of him all these years and whom he considered his mother in this life.

She received him with a hug and before entering, an envelope fell in front of him. Taking it, he saw that it was a letter with a wax seal and a familiar crest.

Opening it, he read.

It was at that moment that he remembered that such an institution existed.

It's not that he didn't feel the excitement of being invited to such a prestigious school, but because he knew what would happen in the future a small knot in his stomach told him that it was a bad idea, so he simply declined the invitation.

He put it back in the envelope in which the owl's food came and told him to return it, and the problems were solved.

Although he did not know it, he would soon receive a visit.
