9 Chapter 9

-[Rias]-

Sitting in the Occult Research Club building with Sona opposite her, she took a sip of the tea Akeno made.

"What are we going to do about him?" Sona asked, a hint of annoyance on her face.

It wasn't hard to figure out who she was talking about.

"While he isn't exactly the easiest person to deal with, he hasn't caused trouble so far." Rias said with some confusion.

Sona's face twisted into a frown. "Maybe not for you. Liam Ross, he doesn't whatever he wants with no regard for this school's rules!" Sona complained.

It went unspoken that said rules were put in place by Sona which caused her irritation when they weren't followed. She loved her childhood friend but she could be a bit too strict at times.

They, as devils, did almost the same thing. They basically controlled the school after all.

"That said, we can't afford to expel him or punish him too harshly. If possible, I'd like to recruit him before you scare him off." Rias said, giggling a bit.

"And how is that going so far?" Sona asked, adjusting her glasses.

Her attempt to 'convince' Liam to join her peerage was still ongoing. After the first experience, there had been multiple 'encounters' in the very club room they currently sat in.

Perhaps she was enjoying it more than she was supposed to. Her body kept craving for more whenever she thought about him and it only got worse whenever she saw him.

"It's…progressing." Rias said slowly, deliberately taking a sip of the tea at Akeno's knowing smile.

Whether Sona took note of that, she didn't point it out. "I have Tsubaki discreetly watching him to make sure he stays out of trouble." Sona said, confident in her queen.

-[Tsubaki]-

How did it end up like this?

Looking up at grey amused eyes, she restrained the urge to bite down on the thick object currently in her mouth.

She was supposed to be keeping an eye on him. How she ended up on her knees in the janitors closet with his dick sliding into her mouth was still a mystery to her.

She was usually one for discipline, order and restraint but she couldn't seem to stop herself as she bobbed her head up and down his length, the lewd sounds echoing around them.

"What would Sona say if she saw you like this?" Liam teased, his ever present smug smile on his face as he reached down to twist her nipple.

What she expected to be painful or at least uncomfortable actually heightened the pleasure she was feeling.

"S-shut up!" She managed to say before her head went back down again to suck his member.

As she felt it twitch in her mouth, she prepared to swallow the third round of cum so far. Her expectations were betrayed as she found herself raised in the air.

"W-what-?!" Before she could fully understand what was happening, she felt his raging dick plunge into her wet folds.

Any words of protest she would have uttered died in her throat as his first thrust sent her moaning in mind numbing ecstasy.

It was only after a few more thrusts that she felt warm liquid hit her walls as he released a thick load of seeds into her pussy. Her orgasm that had been building up from his addictive and sensual touches came like a wave as she climaxed around his dick.

Neither of them moved as they came out of their orgasmic high, twitching for a few moments.

"Now, isn't this more fun than being a proverbial watchdog?" He asked, a knowing grin on his face.

The fact that she couldn't disagree made her look away as she realized something that she should have expected.

"You're still hard…" she muttered in slight shock, a moan leaving her mouth a moment later as he thrust into her still sensitive cunt again.

"Yep. We're gonna be busy for a while."

Whatever she wanted to say was gladly forgotten as he pounded away at her pussy, waves of pleasure bursting through her with each thrust.

'I love this!' Her pleasure clouded mind whispered to her.

-[Rias]-

"Tsubaki has always been responsible so she shouldn't have any problem with that." Rias said, her brows furrowing the next moment. "What about the fallen?"

"They've been surprisingly quiet, quiet for them at least." Sona told her. "Liam killed one of their own so it's possible that they're going to try and get back at him."

It all seemed odd and confusing.

From what Sona had gathered, it didn't seem like the fallen were aware of their comrade's demise, seeing as how they didn't seem to be in a panic or making frantic moves.

That theory was suddenly called into question when the activities of the fallen they were monitoring suddenly reduced.

"What about the fallen who is lurking around that second year student?" Rias asked curiously.

She wasn't interested in the student, only in why the fallen angel was lurking around him. Well, they liked to play around with humans but it wasn't like she could do anything.

Frankly, she saw no reason to involve herself when clashing with the fallen angels would only further increase the tension between their factions.

Sona sighed at that. "Hyoudou? They've made contact with him but it's nothing to concern ourselves with."

"So heartless." Rias teased the dark haired girl in front of her.

Sona gave her a dry look as she dusted her clothes, getting up. "There's no need to risk anything for just one human. It's only logical."

She didn't disagree. It wasn't like he was important enough to warrant action.

She instead needed to focus on her own problems, the teen mage who defeated a fallen angel, was quite good at magic and could also heal.

Who wouldn't want such a person in their peerage?

She deliberately silenced the part of her that wanted him for other reasons…

-[Liam]-

Sex magic, despite being pleasurable, was also useful. It involved harnessing the sexual energy produced from sexual activities to grow stronger and it was working.

While his stats hadn't exactly changed, there was a large gap between grades. Someone with a B- in strength was much stronger than someone with a C+ in the same stat.

So while his stats hadn't grown, he was slowly getting stronger, inching closer to the threshold that would allow him to cross grades.

He'd also picked up a branch of magic that would make sure he wouldn't be easy pickings for the top players.

•••

[Transmutation Magic Mastery: Apprenti]

You have taken on a branch of magic based on the transmutation of living or non-living things, ranging from simple changes and modifications to more complex and powerful transformations.

He was thinking of how to get stronger or at least increase his chances of survival when he got the idea to search for this branch of magic.

The idea came from two different characters that he remembered from his birth world; Overhaul and Mahito.

The former was a large threat due to his quirk which allowed him to instantly assemble and disassemble literally anything he touched.

Mahito on the other hand was a threat due to the fact that no matter how much damage dealt to him, as long as he had some cursed energy left, he could transfigure his 'soul' to maintain his form and stay alive with little to no lasting damage.

Once again, he was happy with his choice in attaining his huge library. He essentially needed to study to get stronger and studying wasn't something he was new to or averse to.

He was in his element.

His magical knowledge, in addition to his already impressive scientific knowledge, made this particular type of magic more interesting in his eyes.

He currently stood in the same abandoned building that had served him so well during his time here.

In front of him was what was once a rat and was now a monstrosity that was twice his size, its long tail having metal-like spikes on its tail and back.

His hand glowed a red color as his palm rested on its head, molding its body and frame to his desire.

It was more complicated than just imagining it and forcing it to happen. He had to account for the organic makeup of the creature as well as functionality and science with a touch of magic and mysticism.

'Now to see what you can do.' He thought, using mind magic to shape its mind and give it instructions.

They weren't too complicated to follow; stay hidden until it was dark, hunt and devour a few humans and go back into hiding before the sun comes up.

He paused, idly noting his indifference to the numerous deaths this 'experiment' would cause.

'It seems like it's true, power changes people. Rather, it brings out their true self, not hidden or suppressed by the constraints of society or morality.' He thought in realization.

'I never got to grow old or actually die in my former world. Here, I can do whatever I want as long as I'm strong enough.' He thought, a grin on his face as he allowed the glow around his palm to disappear.

"Go on and wreak havoc." He muttered, teleporting away and into his library.

He also found another use for this magic. While he needed to touch others to use it on them, he didn't have that limitation when using it on himself.

The back of his shirt bulged before tearing open as two large feathered limbs sprouted from his back. The damaged piece of clothing was the least of his concern as he looked at the wings that formed on his back.

'The shape of a bird's wing allows them to use the wind to make flying easier. The top is curved while it is flat underneath. Air passes faster above it than underneath it.' He thought, testing the movement as the flapped, albeit a bit stiffly.

"This is just the beginning." He muttered, a smile unconsciously forming on his lips as he thought of another branch of magic that also caught his attention.

-[Sona]-

Never before had a single student frustrated her so much. Were it not for the fact that she wanted to keep an eye on him, she would have had him removed from the school.

Liam had been absent for the past few days. She had at first thought that he was attacked only to find out that he'd gotten permission to be absent from school from the principal.

Most if not all the staff working in the school were clients or affiliated with the Sitri or Gremory house. It was how they were able to do as they liked with little to no repercussions in the school.

How Liam had gotten permission from the principal who was supposed to be under her thumb was lost on her.

His letter requesting for permission was nothing more than a messy and childish drawing of a large house which she assumed to be his home and a colored rainbow behind it.

Looking at it, she lost the fight against her frustration, ripping it to pieces in a fit.

"Liam Ross…" she muttered in irritation, hearing Tsubaki cough from behind her.

-[Liam]-

For some reason, he felt like he angered someone. Shrugging, he threw that thought out of his mind, it wasn't the first time he unconsciously angered someone.

He had more pressing matters anyway.

"What am I even going to do with you?" He muttered, looking at the unconscious body of the stray exorcist Freed Sellzen that laid on the floor in his compound.

He'd learnt to layer his house with protective/defensive charms after he got tired and irritated by the intrusions from the devils.

With a wave of his hand, he cast a shrinking charm. Before his very eyes, Freed shrunk until he was no taller than a pencil.

Another silent casting had him pointing his hand into the house as a glass jar flew into it. Easily picking up the shrunken man, he tossed him into the jar, closing it up.

"I'll deal with you later." He muttered in exasperation, his need for sleep clear on his face.
