chap 23 training 2/?
Luke look down at percy " Gods be with you percy this guy here takes his training seriously." he walks away as percy gulps " Relax Jackson you will be fine first lets get you armored up i have a spare set for you." I guide him to my cabin and in the door and helps him put the armor on then we make our way to the sword arena and I hand him a sword " This one doesn't feel right." he mutters as I grab one to " Its hard to get a hold of one that is balanced just right but till the you will be using this sword." I say walking infront of him, " Ok show me at I'm working with." I say as I slightly lower myself and hold my sword to my side. Percy just swings and I easily guide his blade away from me each time.
" Come on Jackson you are just flailing your arm about your wasting to much energy." I say as percy pants " I don't even know what I'm doing!" I sigh nod " True but I have a rough guess of what I'm working with." I step infornt of percy and slash my sword at him hitting his blade then spins the sword effectively disarming him." Ok percy the way you see now your are a lumb of coal but if your are pressured enough you will be a diamond then we will have to smooth the roughness out." He picks the sword up looking at it " I see potential in you percy you will be a great swordsman so what do you say?" I ask looking at him with a smile. " Ok zach lets make this diamond." Percy tries to mimic my stance. " Before anything find a stance that works for you." I say as he rearranges himself before nodding as I swing at a normal speed and he blocks it and then backstepping as he swings downward and I sidestep letting his blad slide down mine before we start to take blows slowly at first before we are dueling at a fast pace but he keeps getting disarmed after 15 minutes of this.
" Ok Jackson water break." we walk to the side and drink a cup of water " You are learning quickly." we look over to see Annabeth and luke walking over " Yea but I'm still new at this." percy shrugs as he glances at me noticing that I pour a second cup over my head to which he repeats. " Ok Jackson lets go again." I say as we walk back in and the next moment our sword lock but with mine being knocked free. Everyone stops and stares at percy " Did i do it right?" I look up at him and smile " Yeah but that means time for the training wheels to come of." I chuckle as percy gulps " I'm sorry." I keep chuckling as I pick my sword up " Ready or not here I come!" I yell as I slash and hack at percy putting him on the back foot keeping him on the defensive before he pushes back and we trade blows quickly at a good speed for the next 3 hours.
" Good job Jackson." I say as the horn sounds lunch and I pull him up from the ground " Luke get him fed the guy is skinnier then a pole." he just nods and lead him away " Do you think he could have stolen the bolt?" annabeth asks looking at me " No you can tell by looking in his eyes that all of this is freaking him out so for him to steal from my father is a wild goose chase." say as I walk towards the pavilion and after scraping a portion off I sit down and just slowly munch down my food while pulling so reports out of my ring and reading over them.
Percy pov
" Hey Luke can you tell me about zach he looks like he doesn't trust anyone." luke sighs " You will have to ask someone who knows him better if you want to know the real reason I would suggest you ask silena beaugard she is the only person that can touch him without getting glared at." I turn and look at the guy sitting alone as he reads some papers. " I know alittle bit about him." the guy sitting beside me says " the names chris. He was abused by his mother according to the mortal news she beat him leaving multiple scars on his back and traumatizing him silena was the one who slowly worked her way to him." I nodd
