15 Chapter 15 Jakob managed to set himself a routine.

As he ate his food next to Andromeda, Jakob took the time to look around and he soon spotted table ten, which was completely pink. Sitting there were tons of boys and girls, all good-looking and beautiful. His attention, however, was on Silena, who was chatting with some of her siblings. She saw him, smiled and waved. Blushing slightly, he waved back. Her siblings saw this and burst into giggles and chatter.

Chiron pounded his hoof for attention. Mr. D got up with a huge sigh. "Yes, I suppose I'd better say hello to all you brats. Well, hello. Our activity director, Chiron, says that capture the flag is this Friday. Cabin five presently holds the laurels."

A bunch of ugly cheering rose from the Ares table.

"Personally," Mr. D muttered. "I couldn't care less, but congratulations. Also, I should tell you that you that we have two new campers today. Amanda Johnson and Jack Thompson."

Jakob shot the God of Wine a glare for mucking up his name. Loath his father he did, Jakob took pride in what he was.

Chiron muttered something. "Er, Andromeda Jackson and Jakob Thorsson the Son of Thor!" Dionysus declared, much to everyone's shock, before they all looked at the son of Thor with great interest.

"We're going to be hounded for days now, aren't we?" Mimir asked knowingly as Jakob took the held off his belt and placed him on the table, causing some sounds of disgust to be heard that Jakob ignored.

"Most likely." Jakob sighed.

Everybody cheered. They all headed down to the amphitheatre, where Apollo's cabin led a sing-along. They sang camp songs about the gods and ate s'mores and joked. Jakob had to admit... he was starting to enjoy this place bit by bit. He felt like he finally had a chance to relax, to not be ready for his father coming for another lesson in training.

He felt free...

Over the next few days, Jakob managed to set himself a routine.

Each morning, very early, before the sun had even begun to rise, Jakob would go out and find somewhere nice, private and quiet to train his abilities and combat skills, to keep them sharp and not let them get rusty. Just because the camp gave him a chance to feel like he was at home, it did not mean he was going to become lazy and let all the hard work over the years go to waste... if there's one positive thing he can say about his father's training it was that it was needed to sharpen and build him into the warrior he is today.

Jakob would train from five O'clock in the morning until eight O'clock, where he would then go to Ancient Greek class with Andromeda, to learn the Greek language even though Jakob told Annabeth that he knew various languages thanks to Loki. So Annabeth compromised and told him to help her teach Andromeda, which the son of Thor agreed to. Sometimes Annabeth would inquire on the languages he had been taught by the God of Mischief and if he really was as the way mortals depicted him as.

Like with Thor, mortals had Loki all wrong thanks to Marvel Comics mostly. Even the Loki mortals believed in Norse Mythology was wrong. He wasn't Thor's brother nor was he Odin's brother, but he was part Jötnar (Or Giant as Jakob elaborated seeing as Giant was the more common term to describe the Giants of Jötunheim)

After Ancient Greek, next would be breakfast, and then afterwards outdoor activities. Jakob excelled in some of the activities, namely the ones he chose to do that would fit him in a serious way such as archery, wrestling with the children of Ares (Be bested every one that fought him but encouraged them to keep trying and they might get somewhere).

When he wasn't participating in those activities, he was hanging out with Silena at the stables or learning pegasi-riding, even though he said he was capable of flight in his own way thanks to his abilities, one of the many he inherited from his father.

Another thing he had gotten to work on was building his own cabin. The Hermes cabin was just too... crowded and he liked his space, to be alone with his thoughts or just to talk to Mimir privately without the risk of anyone listening in. He had started the building early, grabbing huge logs, when Annabeth offered her and her cabin's help in the building of 'The Thor cabin'. Jakob just raised a brow and said they were not calling it that.

It's simply 'Jakob's cabin'.

The Athena cabin was the only one who came forward to help, as the Hephaestus kids also offered their help which Jakob could see the advantage of given who their father was. So Jakob, the Athena, and the Hephaestus kids started working on building Jakob's cabin.

On his third day since arriving at Camp Half-Blood, Jakob was making his way to where sword-fighting lessons with the Hermes cabin would take place. If there's any lessons he can enjoy, it's once working on combat skills such as archery, wrestling, sword-fighting and the like. A son of Ares, Mark his name was, commented that Jakob could pass for a Spartan soldier with the way he talked when it came to speaking of warriors and keeping skills sharp. Jakob supposed that the way he had been trained was like a godly version of Spartans being trained.

He read all about how Spartans were trained to become the deadly warriors they were in the Greek stories.

Anyway, as Jakob was heading to the lessons, he stopped when he noticed a commotion at the camp store where he saw the Stoll brothers, two sons of Hermes who happened to be identical to each other, harassing a girl with warm brown eyes and long black hair. The Stoll brothers, Conor and Travis, were stealing from the camp store, with the girl yelling at them, trying to shoo them away.
