When you here of gods of Greek what comes on your mind? I know you'll think of myths and legends or fork tales of Greeks but you'd be surprised if I told you they were real and you'd think I was going banana but it's true and is a story of someone I knew ones who how do I say it I don't know if his a god or demigod am still not sure . This tale begins in the state of New York on a sinister blood moon night it was raining heavenly and thunder was rumbling as if Zeus knew himself the danger that had just entered the world.Under the sinister blood moon a child was born and the moon stood a witness of the child who held the world's fate in the palm of his hand . He was born at home his grandmother as his midwife ,"I shall name him Kona for he is my strength and my weakness ,"his mother said as she held her in her arm . The child grew up normal but something was different with him not only was he intellectually smart for his age but he never had any illness or futal injuries even when he fell or had fatal accident as he grew something that was peculiar to many except his grandmother who seemed to know what was going on with him. It was in May during the summer holidays when everything begun changing in Kona's life he was going to turn sixteen soon that day when he came home he found a strange man talking to his grandmother and his mother was in her room crying ."What's wrong mum ?Why are you crying mum?"Kona asked his mother ."Your grandmother wants you to go with him ,and leave me ."his mother spoke at her peak of melancholy."Kona come here with your mother here we want to talk with the two of you !"his grand mum called to them ."It's okay mum there must be a reason for this let's go and see what she has to say grandma is wise and she knows whats good for us all ,"Kona said, this made his mother realise how grown a man his son had become ,he had begun speaking like the man of the house ever since he had realised the absence of a father figure in his life not only did he speak but also acted like the the man of the house . In the living room his grand mother begun to speak ," I believe in you Kona and as a man it won't be had to digest what am about to tell you so listen .You've had about gods of Greek well am here to tell you that they aren't myths and you are but one of they're demihuman children and it is time to tell you the truth ,we don't know who your father is since your mother was drunk the day they met but as per now you're not safe with as so we are sending you to stay with the other demigods in the DMD phantom island there your father will reveal himself to you and you'll be safe ." All this was too much for him to take the world begun spinning and then all went blank ,the next thing he knew was that he was in some kind of flying chariot and then he blanked out again and finally when he gained his conciousness he found himself in a room covered with linen on its walls the bed he was on was made of a very soft material,he still felt alittle fuzzy,he looked around and saw a lady who was not so human as he was green and has leaves instead of hair,"How are you Kona you sure got gut I'll tell you that most new comers freak out when they see me ,ow!excuse my manners am Aphilia an nymph and your nurse ."the lady spoke all this while Kona was quite and still like a statue trying to recall what he was missing then with a sharp pain as if he had head-on collision with the memory the words of his mom before he fell fully unconscious,"Don't ever forget that I love you son....."as he remembered this a surge of emotions filled him and he bursted out like a lost two year old ,"Where's my mother ?I want my mother !"he demanded as he went out of the nursing room he shouted and the nymph went to call the man who had brought him . As he called out with rage a huge earthquake shook the island.At that point he felt so much rage that he would have eaten the whole island if he could. CHAPTER 4

The incident fades after some time everyone was assigned to their new villages meaning Alex was back to being a loner ,but Kona was always around till late to keep him campany something he appreciated so much.

Now that everyone was in his village the preparations for the second most important even begun ,the trial of Hercules as they called it whoever won would be chosen to go on a quest that will determine his worth as the champion of his god which will eventually make him or her becomes the warrior of the gods and go forth to fight the endless darkness that sprouts in the mortal world .

The trial consisted of many challenges including on to on battle that ended in devastating injuries some very fetal leading to disabilities.The groups formed earlier at the beginning of entry were to be each person's group throughout till he or she leaves the island so it ment Kona was stuck with Claire and Cleo for his entire time in the island something he felt thrilled about and also enraged by it not sure why .

That winter was all team work no indoor lessons were held ,Willow pointed out that it was for increasing the warriors perseverance to hursh weather ,it was more of team work for weeks on end , running up the mountains and down the valley .

Things begun taking a drastic twist for Kona on the fatefull night of the thirteenth of November as he slept he has a nightmare let me call it that since shook him so bad he had never been so afraid as he was then,"He was standing at a cliff below him was a depthless pit below which heat emitted like that from an oven and as he stood their gazing into the abyss a gigantic hand made of rocks and lava rose out of the pit and held onto the cliff then the head shit up and and came near him ,he could feel the heat of the Titans breath and the stench of dead meat it carried with it ,"Hello ,Son I've been waiting for you it is time ,"the Titan said then a chill so cold it could have frozen his veins ran down his spine ,"he woke up his body was drooping sweat like a pig his bedings were all soaked in sweat .After that he couldn't sleep and spent the rest of the night in the beach .

In the morning he went ahead to Claire (daughter of Hera) and asked the question that had been bugging him the whole night ,"Excuse me Claire can I ask you a question,which of the Titans is made of lava and rocks with a tri-horned head ?"He asked ,"That's our grandfather ,"She answers cheekishly ."who is our grandfather ,"he asked puzzled ."Kronos dummy,"she says cunningly ,"why do you want to know ?""Nothing in particular just curious,"he said trying to shrug off the question but Claire could read the confusion in his face but she didn't want to force him to tell her .

This left him more confused ,his subconscious in attempts to calm him down even tried making him belief the dream was just a figment of his imagination but he kept asking himself why was it too detailed for a dream yet he had never seen the being and also why did his presence feel so real as if the he'd been really there .

On that very day something happened that shook Olympus to the core ,Atlas begun starring in his sleep on his prison bed in the depth of the Atlantic ocean where he was chained and sealed by Paseidon and the other gods .

The star of Koios was also seen ,which was a reminder of the prophecy of Koios before he was struck down by Zeus ,this was the one thing that made even Zeus tremble for it proved that they had failed to prevent the prophecy from coming to pass ,....even the fates shivered in their catacombs for Koios was not like Dione his prophecies were heavenly known to have brought the demise of Uranus and the first Titans, in short they were known as the heavenly prophecy since they greatly affected the heavenly beings ,gods and titans included more than the mortals .

That day even the sun became cold ,the sea became pale and the flowers lost their colours ,Zeus couldn't stay put ,Athena knew what was up but couldn't find a solution for his wisdom was after the Titans before then she knew nothing ,....her wisdom was limited for a goddess of wisdom .

"Is their a solution,... can't any of you think of something,...arrrraaaarrrrggg!"Zeus tremble with rage and confusion."Why can't you think of something yourself I thought you were the King ,"Paseidon who was getting sick of Zeus commanding nature sneered."Hey guys let's not fight among ourselves though I concure with Paseidon,we should try and find the solution together since we are all affected by this ,"Athena who was respected for her wisdom spoke cooling the pot that had started cooking before it could boil over ,everyone kept quiet waiting for her to give a possible solution but as she could sense what they were thinking she quickly responded ,"to tell you all the truth am blank on this today to ,if any one of you have an opinion on how to deal with this disaster before it boils up you should speak out please ,".

That day Chiron the most trusted of the gods stood from his seat at the Conner of the Throne room of the gods and came forth everyone stunt unable to speak for it was known that his wisdom at times could compare to Athena herself something she didn't find fun but she couldn't anything to the old centaur who was respected by the other gods to the point of being granted immortality by Hera herself the most stone hearted of the gods though she is the goddess of rebirth ,facility and family.

"Blessed be the gods ,I seek an audience?"he begun ."Youay speak Chiron ,"Zeus permits ,"I see you don't have a solution to this disaster that is cooking up in the dark ,if am not correct it is because the child of the prophecy evaded the cleansing ceremony during the blood moon ,it is also true to say this child is a child of the gods themselves for the prophecy talks of him or her as one of the blood of a titan and being of a god but nature of man so it's obvious it's a demigod and as per my understanding you have secure all the demigods in the Phantom island so as per me if I may advice you can just find him or her by search of the children who of them was born on the blood moon night and carries the mark of Koios,...that's just my suggestion you know what is good and it's not my power to indulge my opinion further ,"and with that the immortal old man bowed and moved back to his sit at the far end of the hall .

All the gods found his suggestion to be workable since they had no other solution if it didn't work nothing would so they decided to it .
