Training Arc part 1

After the competition was over Alatar took Jason and Arlo to a restaurant to talk and get to know each other and discuss their training.Arlo lives with his grandma after his parents died 5 years ago defending the castle against the demons.Alatar ask Jason where he comes from Jason says "I come from a village that was raided by demons and in that raid my parents and siblings died the only reason I lived was because I hid in a hole that was under my house".Arlo look shocked and said "I'm sorry for your lost and hope we can become great friends" Jason smiles and says "I hope we can become great friends too".The three of them finished eating and Alatar says "meet me in front of the castle gates at 6:30 AM sharp".The next morning Jason and Arlo met up with Alatar by the castle gates but before they left Alatar explained to them that they will be gone for the next 5 years for training and asked them "It is your choice if you go or not but if you decide to go it will be harsh training and if you can't keep up you will return to the castle".Jason and Arlo looked at each and said "Bring it on!" But before we left a girl came by to say farewell to Arlo her name was Serbrina she had long pink hair and pink eyes this was the girl Arlo was in love with and from the looks of it she felt the same way.Arlo waved goodbye to the girl as they left for their 5 year training.As they left Alatar looked at Jason and thought "Is this the boy the demons are looking for if it is I have to protect him and keep him on the path of light because this boy may be our only chance of defeating the Demon King".
