2 Yasaze's decision

And still night, and the golden lights that covered the sky, ceased.

"The lights are gone...there is no doubt that gods are dead." A man observes the night sky through the window of his house. "Darling, I have to go out to see what happened, I don't know why, but I'm drawn to a part of the forest." The man turns towards a woman sitting on a chair, holding a little girl in her arms.

"What are you saying? Do you want to go out there after all those lights and shaking? No one from the village has come out of their homes, they're all afraid of what they just saw...and yet you want to go there?" The woman cuddles her little girl, who appears to be about two years old. She scolds her husband for the idea she just had, she can't bear the idea of her husband coming out to see what happened, if by any chance something happened to him, he would leave her she is their darling daughter in this world.

"Don't worry, darling, remember that I was a very skilled adventurer, I know how to recognize danger if I sense it. I promise you that if ever a threat that I cannot face appears before me, I will flee immediately, after all I have the wind on my side." The man raises his hand and opens his palm, and a small green-tinged wind vortex is created on the latter. "I promise I won't leave you alone." The woman looks into her husband's eyes, she is able to notice that he is very serious in his promise, she knows that he keeps them.

"Fuu, it's okay, you can go, but be careful, remember that you have a family now, you are no longer a reckless young man who throws himself into adventure." The woman sighs, she is she is convinced by her words and by the conviction of her husband.

"Of course, thanks darling, now I won't waste any more time, I'll hurry." The man takes a sword hanging on the wall, but if a person living in this nation saw it, he might turn up his nose, since it is not a typical weapon of the place, since it is a katana, used mostly by warriors of a nation far from here.

After arming himself, he leaves his house and heads towards the forest, heading to a specific place. 'What is attracting me? Because I want to head into the forest so much...normally I would stay away from a place where something like this happened, but instead I find myself here, with my body guided by a strange sensation.' The man walks for several minutes, also using the speed and agility that he has developed over the years during his career as an adventurer.

"What is this noise? A cry?" The man stops in his tracks, and his ears hear the crying of a child nearby. 'It should be nearby.'

The man is guided by the sound of the crying and quickly reaches the place where the child resides. His timing is perfect, as the newborn is surrounded by a pack of hungry wolves. 'They found their dinner, too bad I arrived just in time.' The man has faced many dangers and threats in his life, a pack of wolves doesn't scare him, but he doesn't want to kill them either, after all they are just trying to get food, but he can't allow them to feed on that child. "I'm sorry, my dears, but you will have to find more food."

The man uses the power of the wind, and with rapid movements, grabs the child and flees towards the village, leaving the wolves with an empty stomach.

"Was it you who lured me here, little one?" The man looks at the little one in his arms and is moved by seeing such a defenseless creature. "Don't worry, you're safe now, I'll take you home with me, so those bad wolves can't get you anymore, okay?" The little one doesn't seem to calm down at all, apparently the man is not very convincing. "It's not working, I'll take you to Ichinose, she'll definitely be able to calm you down."

And so the man managed to bring the little newborn to safety and welcomed him into his home, raising him as his son.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Years pass and the child grows up in the Ayanokoji family. The child is currently sixteen years old, he recently came of age, his father, Kiyotaka together with his wife Ichinose, gave him the name Sanryu. The boy grows up healthy and strong, under Kiyotaka's watchful education, he also learns the katana technique, even if he is unable to understand it one hundred percent.

Sanryu is a normal boy, his face is neither handsome nor ugly, average. He has short black hair, blue eyes and his physique has been trained very well, growing muscles all over his body.

Kiyotaka watches with great pride the growth of his adopted son, but it was not only Sanryu who gave him such sensations. His blood daughter, Yasaze, was also his pride, as he even surpasses Sanryu in wind art, also known as Kaze no āto, a katana technique capable of uniting militia and wind magic into one style of combat.

"Good job guys, rest now, we'll continue after lunch." Kiyotaka speaks to the two boys, who were practicing friendly fencing.

"Okay, father." Sanryu obeys his father and places his wooden sword near a tree.

"I wanted to practice a little more, but that's okay." On the other hand, Yasaze wasn't very happy about finishing the fencing, but she obeys anyway. "It seems I'm still superior to you with sword technique, my dear little brother." The girl places her wooden sword next to Sanryu's and places a hand on the boy's head, brushing aside her black hair in a friendly manner.

"I would worry if you were not more skilled than me, sister, after all you are our father's blood daughter, and then you inherited his wind power." Sanryu moves his sister's hand, then fixes his wavy hair.

"Ahaha don't be discouraged Sanryu, sooner or later you too will find a vocation with the sword, and you will awaken your power, because I'm sure you possess it." Kiyotaka is happy to see the relationship his children have, and hopes that this relationship will last for a long time. "Come on, let's go to the table, your mother will have prepared something delicious for us." Kiyotaka encourages his children to return to their home, and the two boys don't have to be told twice.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

The three return home, and waiting for them is a beautiful woman with long brown hair and almond-shaped eyes typical of humans who live in the distant land of Hiizurukuni. "Ara, you have arrived in time for lunch, come on hurry up and change so we can celebrate Yasaze's eighteenth birthday." As Ichinose said, today is Yasaze's birthday, and their family usually celebrates every member's birthday.

"Sure, Okaasan, let's go Saryu." Yasaze goes to take a quick bath and then change clothes, to remove all the sweat she has on.

"I arrive." Saryu does the same, but only after her sister finishes bathing her.

"Aren't you coming to bathe with your sister, Saryu?" Yasaze moves the collar of her shoulder slightly, revealing the smooth olive skin of her shoulder, intentionally provoking her brother.

"O-of course not! We're grown up now, Yasaze, we're not children like we used to be. Hurry up and take a bath, so I can go too." Saryu looks away from that act, blushes a little on her cheeks, and scolds her sister to hurry up. 'Yasaze provokes a little too much, don't you notice that she has become very beautiful, is she charming? No, I think she does it on purpose.'

Saryu takes a quick look at Yasaze's body, the girl has grown very well, thanks also to their father's training, but also to the healthy nutrition that their mother prepares. And slightly taller than Saryu, after all she is also older than the latter, she stands more or less at 1.74m. She has long brown hair, longer than her even than her mother, she has lovely hazel eyes, she has generous breasts, not to mention her long thighs, not slender but not fat either. A nice peachy ass, and her hips are trained, typical of female swordsmen.

"How boring you are, okay, then I'll go first." Yasaze puffs out her cheeks cutely, she is soon after she enters the bathroom.

The family is currently eating their meal, chatting and laughing happily, celebrating Yasaze's eighteenth birthday.

"Well, now that we're done, we need to talk about your departure, Yasaze." Kiyotaka gets the attention of his entire family by starting a serious conversation. "So are you sure about embarking on this journey? It's not an easy choice to make at all, the life of an adventurer can be as rewarding as it is dangerous." The father looks at her daughter with a serious look in his eyes.

"Of course, Otosan! I want to start my life as an adventurer, I don't want to go back on my decision right now. I took you as an example, and not only do I want to reach you, but I also want to surpass you, the Kaze no āto is the path I have chosen and It has now become part of me." Yasaze responds to her father's gaze with equal vigor and does not seem to want to change his decision.

"I understand, you have now chosen what you want to do with your life...Ichinose, our daughter has made her choice, it is us as parents, we should respect it. She is now an adult and must choose for herself what to do and what not to do Do." Kiyotaka turns his gaze on her wife, telling him that they should respect their beloved daughter's choice.

"I understand what you mean, but it's still hard for me to see my daughter go on an unknown journey, and even alone." Ichinose seems saddened by the news of her daughter, but she knows she can't stop it. "Can't Saryu accompany her on this trip?" Ichinose tries to convince her daughter to let Saryu accompany her.

"No, Okaasan, Saryu must take her path alone, she must choose her path." Yasaze does not want to be accompanied by her and she wants her brother to choose for himself what she will have to do.

"..." Saryu says nothing, even though she wanted to accompany her sister, she after all doesn't want anything to happen to her, but if Yasaze chose to travel alone, she must respect her choice.

"We understand your decision, Yasaze, and it is right that you do what you want, but at least let me warn you of the dangers that await you." Kiyotaka at least wants to warn her daughter of the dangers and threats of this world.

"I will gratefully heed your warnings, Otosan." Yasaze willingly accepts her father's instructions, although Ichinose is still a little reluctant about choosing her daughter.

The day passes, to make room for the night, casting a veil of darkness over this part of Ethia. And in the starry sky, a golden comet descends from the sky, falling into the forest near the village.
