14 Chapter 13 Daily Lives

Ash PoV

Piper has been hanging out with us very frequently and since its summer we had a lot of free time to play and have fun. Well me, Katie and Percy still have our training sessions(we still haven't told Piper that she's a demigod) we mostly spend our time going to the park, pranking anyone that breaths, having sleepover and going to the arcade(I have my shadows handle the monsters that came near us but we sometimes have to step in when a strong monster comes like the hydra, which was how I got a full 9 headed hydra as a shadow, it was a hard battle but it was worth it in the end).

But all good things must come to an end. Summer was almost over, a fact which caused Percy to be a bit grumpy over. Katie and Piper was really excited because with my help and teaching them meditation Percy, Katie and Piper was able to deal with their dyslexia and ADHD and was able to read and listen properly.

Percy just didn't like school.

For me I didn't really care about school that much with me being a high school student in my past life, 3rd grade really wasn't much a problem. I was also always the top of my class since Nursery. No way will I let a bunch of kids have a higher grade than me. It will just hurt my pride as a high-school student.

Ash PoV

Percy, Katie and I was just chillin in our backyard when Piper came running towards us and jump towards Katie in a hug.

Katie was to confused to dodge and couldn't react in time.

"Ackt!?" Katie grunted.

Piper had her head buried on Katie's chest and was giggling for a while and we just stood there.

Percy who didn't have that much patience had enough.

"Okay what's wrong Pipes?" Percy asked to which me and a still confused Katie nodded to.

Piper stepped away from Katie, looked at the three of us and smiled.

"Well as you guys know summer is almost over." Piper started to which we all nodded.

"My dad will still be filming his movie for a while so I wont be going back to my old school for this schoolyear."Piper said with a sly smile.

I had a look of realization on my which soon turn into a smirk. Katie was starting to connect the dots. While Percy still had a confused look.

" So which school will you be going to? "Percy asked with a tilt of his head.

"Of course to my best friend Katie's school."

Piper said while jumping to hug Katie which Katie happily returned.

I just smiled at them and gave them an approving nod.

"Hey why not our school?" Percy asked still shock at the whole revelation.

"Well for one, Katie's school had a better reputation." Piper said raising one of her fingers.

"Hey!" Percy and I said.

"And two, dad said Katie was good influence while you guys are well..." Piper hesitated.

I stifled a laugh at that. 'Well he was not wrong this past month the four of us have gotten into a lot of trouble that Katie and Piper got dragged into the mess that me and Percy caused.' I thought amused.

Percy had the decency to look sheepish at that.

Smiling mischievously I asked her.

"Is he still sore about the whole wedgie incident? I said I was sorry." I was not. The dude had the audacity to flirt with my mom infront of me. He deserved it.

Piper laughed at that.

"Yep! It was a major contribution to why he wanted for me to go to Katie's school. Though if you asked me its still a win at the end of the day." Piper said with a matter of fact tone.

We cheered at that.

That day we celebrated happily and we all had diner together. All of us. Me and my mom. Percy and Sally(of course Gabe is not included), Katie and Mr. Gardner, Piper and her dad.

It was the day before the start of school. The four of us were out for a stroll in the woods. Today we decided to tell Piper of her heritage. It took me a while to figure out her godly parent but I'm confident that I figured it out.

Aphrodite, that's her mother's name. It all makes sense. When Piper speaks to mortals and tells them something to do they do it without hesitation. I found out about this when we were at the arcade and Piper got grumpy at losing at the crane game many times and ordered one of the staff to get her the stuff toy when she thought we weren't looking.

The three of us all saw it happen. She's not that good at hiding her powers. It wasn't just the three of us who saw it a lot of people at the arcade saw it. I had to use the mist to make them forget what happened discreetly without letting Piper know what I was doing.

The Kindly ones explaimed to me the abilities of every demigod children of every olympians. And what Piper did was a power of Aphrodites children called 'Charm Speak'.

When we got in a discreet place I turned to Piper.

"Piper, what we're about to say to you may sound crazy but trust us what we're about to say is very much true." I said seriously which caught her off guard because I always act laid back when they're around and never serious.

She took in my words and nodded.

At that I smiled and turned to Percy and Katie and they nodded. I took a deep breath and asked.

"How much do you know about Greek Mythology?"
