PROLOGUE

A thousand years ago, in the land of Elmanda, there were creatures that lived apart from each other. The elves, fairies, mermaids, dragons and humans were all at war with each other. Years passed and Elmanda was a place filled with bloodbath. That was, until the celestials arrived. These were divine creatures which made everyone filled with wonder. The celestials brought peace and happiness to the creatures of Elmanda and they united all who lived within this land and brought an end to the years of bloodbath. And then everyone came to a final decision. The celestials were made the general overseers of Elmanda. They were charged by all to keep the peace of the land for ever. They set up their kingdom, The Paramount in the center of the land.

All was well for years to come but not all happiness lasts for ever. There were those who didn't like the current peace of the land and they came from the different creatures that lived in the land. They sought for a way to bring an end to the peace that the land was currently experiencing. Through the use of dark magic, they opened the way to another world. The dark world known to the celestials as Domaru. They also released an all powerful entity. His name was Morgado and he was the king and ruler of Domaru. Together with his dark powers and his evil creatures, he brought terror and destruction upon Elmanda. The creatures that originally resided in Elmanda together with the celestials banded together to stop Morgado from causing more harm to their land. For years the war against darkness raged on with neither side being backing down. Then, there came a group of warriors who tipped the scales of the war to the side of the original residents of Elmanda. They called themselves The League Of Heroes. The League consisted of celestials, mermaids, fairies, elves and humans. They were the most powerful and skilled warriors from their race and together, they were able to defeat Morgado and send him back to his realm. And so, after thirty years of war against darkness, Elmanda was once restored to its peaceful state. The League were rewarded by the ruler of the celestials at that time for their bravery but upon defeating Morgado, there were those who held on to the darkness and they brought upon terror to those who lived in Elmanda. The League continued on their quest to rid Elmanda of all forms of darkness and so they did.

Years had passed and a new league had arisen and they continued on he quest of their predecessors to rid Elmanda of darkness. Though there was peace, there were a few battles between each race but that was quickly curtailed by the League Of Heroes. But all the way, peace still stayed. During these years of peace, there were a few creatures who had fallen in love with those of other races and so these gave rise to the half-breeds, creatures of two parents from different races. The overall power of these half-breeds superseded those of their parents and it was a lot to handle. So the celestials, together with the rulers of each race thought of a way to help the half-breeds control their powers and then they created a training camp in which they brought all those who had yet to unlocked heir full potential and the half-breeds to be able to learn how to use their powers. But all this happiness once again didn't last for a long period of time. There was an uprising in Elmanda and this uprising was being caused b the half-breeds of he celestials and a few of the other races. These half-breeds thought that they had more power over the pure breeds and wanted to be in charge of the whole land. And this started another war. During this time, another league had arisen which was led by a powerful and beautiful celestial by the name, Luciana. She possesed the power of lightning. She and her League Of Heroes brought an end to war of the half-breeds after three years. The leader of the celestials at that time, Queen Loriana, made a decree that all celestials shall not inter-breed again so as to keep their full divinity and to prevent the half-breed war from happening again. Other races had made little or no effort concerning the half-breed situation and so some still had children of such race. And thus such children were ridiculed by the pure breeds. During this time, the dragons had secluded themselves from the rest of Elmanda and some caused havoc to the other races which brought hatred upon the dragon race by all.

Now, Queen Loriana had three daughters. Each beautiful and unique in their own ways. The first was Soriana, the next in line to the throne of the celestials and she possessed the ability of fire. She had blue eyes and white hair which stopped at her waist. Her wings had dual coloring. It was orange while it was red as reached the tips. The second was Luciana who possessed the ability of lightning. She also had blue eyes and long white hair just like her elder sister. Her wings were metallic instead of having normal feathers and they had a deep purple glow. And the last was Zoriana. Just like her sisters, she had white hair and blue eyes. She possessed the ability of air or wind, and her wings had a silver color. Each had a nature which differed them. Soriana was hot tempered and quick to act, Luciana was gentle and thoughtful while Zoriana was a bit hot tempered like Soriana but had learned to control her anger and she wasn't rash in her actions and also, she was a very good strategist. But all had a common trait which was that they were all brave and dedicated to protecting their people. Soriana was always helping her mother out by carrying out her duties as the next in line to the throne, Luciana had her duties in keeping Elmanda safe as she was the leader of the League Of Heroes while Zoriana was the Second-in-command to the celestial army. After two hundred and seventeen years of ruling and the twenty second queen of the celestials, Loriana died and then Soriana ascended to the throne as the new Queen and leader of the celestials and the general overseer of Elmanda while Zoriana became the army commander of the celestials. Luciana still remained the leader of the League Of Heroes.

After a few years of battling the monsters of darkness, Luciana decided to take a break from her warrior duties and disappeared from the Paramount. After a few months of her disappearance, she returned and resumed her duties as the leader of the League Of Heroes. Everyone had asked her what had happened to her but she didn't answer any of their questions. After a long time of not receiving answers, they had left her alone.

Now, Morgado had returned and this time he was more powerful than he ever had been. He caused more destruction to Elmanda more than he ever did. This was another great war between the forces of good and evil. But this time, the darkness was winning. After months of destruction, a great sacrifice was made. The League Of Heroes had all been defeated and killed leaving Luciana as the last one standing. She knew that at this rate, Elmanda would be destroyed by Morgado and so in order to defeat him, she sacrificed herself for all of Elmanda. She used up all her life force to defeat Morgado and render him powerless. He was eventually sealed away by the most powerful celestial mage. But instead of joy, Elmanda was filled with sorrow not only for their fallen brothers and sisters but for the sacrifice which Luciana had made. She was declared a hero to everyone and her sword, Everglade was kept away from and displayed as a sign of her bravery. She had left a hole in everyone's hearts.

There was also a prophecy that had been made. AT THE RISE OF THE GREATEST OF ALL EVILS, THERE SHALL BE ONE WHO SHALL DESTROY THIS EVIL FOREVER. HE SHALL BE THE CHOSEN ONE AND HE AND HIS LEAGUE OF HEROES SHALL BE A SOURCE OF LIGHT AND HOPE TO EVERYONE IN THE LAND AND WILL DESTROY THE FORCES OF DARKNESS FOREVER. And so for years all of Elmanda waited for this chosen one to rise and bring an end to the terror of darkness but till this day, he was never found.
