Lexi, having arranged for Dominic for the day, walked into the military courthouse with Matthew, hand in hand.  As they entered the courthouse, Steven was waiting for them, and said "Lexi I have to apologise for this.  I did not want to have you near the stand this early in the case, but I received the orders from the judges I was left with no choice."

Lexi looked at Matthew, who smiled and gently squeezed her hand before saying "I will be here for you.  Do not worry about anything else.  You can do this."

Moving over Lexi hugged Matthew, who placed his arms around her, before she quietly said "You should distance yourself from…"

Matthew quickly moved his hand and placed his fingers on Lexi's lips cutting her off mid-sentence.  He calmly said "We have been through this.  I will be with you through this because I know you and that this was not at your instigation.  They caused it and need to pay."
