Break the news

The morning was as cool as it can be,it's been long Sonia woke up feeling this energetic.then her memory flashed back one week ago when her parents broker the news to her that she has been married to a man she knows nothing about.

Thinking about it breaks her heart to pieces.well at least I am not at home anymore there is no way they are going to find me here she thought.

She draged her leg to the bathroom to freshen up,,,the water sank into her washing away all her stress.she sank deep into the water by the time she is do done it's been more than and hour..she was surprised she spent that amount of time at the bathroom, sonia was scared of being late because today is her first day at work which she doesn't want to be late.

She went to kitchen to prepare a simple meal egg and noodles and also pack the one for lunch,,,she tries to save as much money as she can so as not to grow hungry in the coming days.

Getting inside her bedroom to change her dress,at least she want to look presentable on her first day at work.

💨 late she met her boss on the door and he ask; why are you late to work on you first day?if you are not going to be serious you better get the hell out of this place,,I don't condone laze and irrelevant people!! he barked at her; Sonia was frightened out but she apologized ;I am so sorry sir I promise it won't happen again..you better make sure it never happened again, sir William left her at the door to his office.

Sonia went to sit down at her place and began the work of the day not until a colleague walked to her; hii' my name is Ethan a cook in this restaurant: Sonia looked up and met this handsome guy. .tall,toned skin,pointy nose a nice body, and most especially a breath taking voice.

She was lost in voice for a second before she apologized; ohhh I am sorry,,my name is Sonia,and I am the new secretary in this restaurant,,,it's my pleasure to meet you..,and to you too he replied,,,it's lunch time would you accompany me to grab a bit at the cafe across??he asked ,, when he say that Sonia was not ready to accept and her face fell knowing fully well she cant shoulder the bill..he smiled and said,you don't have to worry bills on me.with that Sonia was elated.she tidied up and left with Ethan
