1 Ch 1: Salamander's in town?

Within the city of Hargeon, two boys stumble out of the train as they hold onto their stomachs.

"I'm never going on a train again." The salmon-haired boy said as the brown-haired boy nodded.

The salmon-haired boy was Natsu Dragneel. He's a lean, muscular young man of average height with a slightly tan skin tone, black eyes, salmon-colored hair, and abnormally sharp canines. Natsu also has a scar on the right side of his neck, hidden by his scarf.

Following Natsu was a blue cat with wings named Happy. He has a rectangular head, with pink ears, big black eyes with small, thin eyebrows, and light blue cheek marks near to his tiny whiskers. Happy has a triangular nose that leads to semi-round upper lips on the sides.

The brown-haired boy with them was Sharon Savant. He's a lean, muscular young man with average height, a tanned skin tone, golden eyes, dark brown hair with red highlights at the end, and like Natsu, sharp canine teeth. He also has a small pendant hanging around his neck with an ornately designed red gem in the middle of it.

"So, what do we have about Igneel? Are you sure he's here?" Sharon asked as Natsu nodded.

"The guys at the guild said something about Salamander coming to Hargeon, and the one that fits the best is Igneel," Natsu said as Sharon just nodded.

After getting off the train, their bodies felt many times better. Motion sickness ... was their archenemy, after all.

The two made their way into town when they noticed a crowd of girls around a man.

They were squealing and yelling about Salamander, so Natsu and Sharon looked at each other, nodded, and moved to the front.

On the way there, Sharon bumped into a blonde girl who blinked a couple of times and then stared at him.

"Sorry 'bout that. I gotta go." He said with an apologetic smile and moved towards the Salamander guy.

"Who the hell are you?!" Natsu shouted as Sharon had finally reached the front.

"Charm magic?" Sharon questioned as he glanced at the crowd around the guy.

"What's with using charm magic?" Sharon asked as the guy glared at him and decided to play the innocent card.

"What do you mean? What's charm magic? Anyways, ... I've got somewhere to be." He said as he quickly left with a trail of purple flame.

The two sighed as they looked at each other.

"He's not Igneel," Natsu said as Sharon nodded.

"Wait ... isn't Igneel a dragon?" He asked as Natsu nodded.

"Then why were we looking for him in town?" Sharon asked as Natsu looked at him with wide eyes.

The two both burst into laughter as a blonde girl approached Sharon.

"Um ... excuse me?" She asked as she tapped his shoulder, causing him to turn.

"Hm? Need something?" He asked as she blushed a little.

"Would you like to have lunch?" She asked as Sharon had a teasing smile appear on his face.

"Oh my, we just met, yet you're asking me out? Very bold." He said with a teasing smile as she shook her head.

"Wawawa-wh-what?? No, that's not it. I want to thank you ... for breaking the charm spell," she said as Sharon sighed.

"Look, we both eat a lot. Like a lot! I don't want to put you in debt or something." Sharon whispered with a smirk as she chuckled.

"I'll be fine, please ... let me thank you." She said as Sharon sighed, then nodded.

*Time Skip*

Sharon, Natsu, and the blonde girl were sitting in a small restaurant as both Natsu and Sharon were eating multiple plates of food.

"So, my name is Lucy. What about you guys?" The blonde girl, now named Lucy, said as the two slowed down a bit.

Lucy has brown eyes and shoulder-length blonde hair that is usually tied by ribbons in a small ponytail to the right side of her head with the rest of the hair loose.

"I'm Sharon Savant. It's nice to meet you, Lucy." Sharon began as she nodded with a smile.

"Natsu Dragneel, and this here is my buddy, Happy." Natsu said with a smile as Happy went, "Aye."

The two continued eating as Lucy was on a rant about wizards and how much she wanted to join a guild. Fairytail.

Once the two finished eating, they thanked her for the food and made their way out of the restaurant.

However, before Sharon left, he made sure to leave just enough jewels (currency) on his seat to pay for the meal.

*Time Skip*

Natsu was out walking and enjoying the breeze while Sharon was trying to find more info on the guy using charm magic.

'Just who was he?' He wondered as he glanced at a small ship with lots of lights.

The next moment, Natsu was being carried by Happy, who was flying there. Sharon jumped into the air and with a giant blast of solar energy, rocketed himself towards the ship.

Natsu dropped into the ship, as Sharon followed ... only to regret it the next moment.

The ship swayed as they could feel their lunch trying to leave through the way it had gone in.

Sharon looked around as he noticed the slave branding poles and chains that littered the floor and understood that this was a slave trading ship.

'Slave trading ship.' Sharon thought as he tried to create fire in his hand only to fall from the ship shaking.

"Damnit!" He groaned as he felt a presence outside the ship.

'Happy carried Lucy outside ... is she the presence? No, it's different ... celestial energy?' He thought as a large force pushed the entire ship onto the shore.

Sharon jumped off the ship and glanced at the one who did that. A blue-haired mermaid with the top half of her body, an attractive woman's, while the bottom half was that of a fish.

"Thanks for the help, mermaid-lady," Sharon said with a smile as he could see her glance at him before turning away.

He turned to the charm guy, and his companions as Natsu appeared beside him.

Natsu covered his fist with reddish-orange fire as he yelled, "Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"

The impact from his fist crashed into them as they were flung against the walls of the ship.

Lucy appeared beside Sharon as she was shocked at what she saw.

"Oh, I forgot to mention but ... those two are wizards too." Happy said as the blonde girl had a shocked expression.

"So ... You're a Fairy Tail wizard?" Natsu asked as he cracked his knuckles.

"Oho? What was that? A Fairy Tail wizard?" Sharon asked as a cold smile appeared on his face.

"Y-yeah, that's right. So what?" The charm guy asked as the two glared at him.

"Let me get a closer look ..." Natsu said as he moved closer, only to slap him.

"I'm Natsu from Fairytail, and I've never seen you before!" He yelled as the others were shocked.

Once both Sharon and Natsu got closer to the others, both their shoulders were visible. A red Fairytail mark on both Natsu's and Sharon's right shoulders was clearly visible.

"Hey Bora, I think they're the real deal." One of the now named Bora's, allies said as he yelled, "Don't call me by that name!"

"Bora. Bora of the Prominence. The guy who was chased out of the Titan Nose guild for thefts using magic." Happy said as Natsu growled.

"You've made a bad move, buddy," Sharon said in a cold voice as Natsu was enraged.

"I don't care if you're a good person or a bad person, I will never forgive you for using our name!" Natsu yelled as Bora yelled back, "Whatever, you're just some noisy brats!" He flung fire at Natsu, who was in front of him.

"Natsu!" Lucy yelled as Sharon saw Bora smirking. He put his arm in front of Lucy as he shook his head. "He'll be fine," he said with a smile as she looked at him and immediately looked away with a slight blush.

A moment later, a sucking noise could be heard as the fire was absorbed into Natsu's mouth.

"This is some nasty-tasting fire," Natsu spat as Sharon was heartily laughing.

Sharon glanced at everyone's shocked expressions as he put his hand down.

"Did he just eat the fire??" Some lackeys yelled as Happy spoke, "Fire doesn't work on him."

"I've never seen such magic before!" Lucy said as Sharon watched the carnage with a wide grin.

"I'm fired up now!!" Natsu yelled as he took in a huge breath as a magical circle appeared in front of his mouth.

"Bora, I-I've seen him before!!" One of the lackeys said.

"That salmon-colored hair, and the scaly scarf. There's no doubt about it! He's the real ..." he said as Natsu breathed out a large roar of fire.

"Salamander," Lucy whispered as Sharon was utterly shocked.

'He's Salamander? Then what the hell were we even here for??' He yelled in his head while sighing.

"Dragon lungs to spew fire, dragon scales that melt fire, and dragon claws covered in fire. An ancient magic that converts the body into one of a dragon. Dragon Slaying Magic." Happy explained as Sharon was enjoying watching the fight.

"Igneel taught him this, a real dragon." Happy said as Natsu was standing there staring at Bora and his companions.

"Not again!! NATSU! You're overdoing it!" Sharon yelled as he noticed the falling buildings and destroyed port.

"What's with all the noise!?" A bunch of men in armor yelled as they ran in.

"The knights of Fiore. Run!" Sharon yelled as he grabbed Lucy, while Natsu grabbed Happy and ran off.

"Why me??" Lucy yelled as he turned to her with a cheerful smile and said, "You wanted to join Fairy Tail, right?"
