The Society's Heiress

COMPLETED "Being married to you means the world to me. Don't worry about my family, they knew, and they were much eager to protect you. I don't care if my life would be in danger as long as you are safe. My life is not normal without you in it. Ah… what was the last one?" Jacob stopped and rubbed his chin trying to remember J's last word before he interfered. "Ah! Right!" Jacob's eyes gleamed when he seemed to remember. "I was so glad that your grandfather dragged me into this messy and complicated life of yours. Because if he didn't, I would be forcing myself into your life, even if you don't want to." "Was I able to answer all your questions, Mrs. Jacob Parker?" Jacob asked, emphasizing how he addresses J as Mrs. Jacob Parker indicating that whoever she is, she would still be his wife. ~~~ At the age of 10, J's parents died in an ambush leaving her in the care of her grandfather who years later sent her away along with her best friend to hide her and her identity from those who would try to kill her after her parents. 20 years later, a lot of things had already happened. Her grandfather died. She is back in the country for good though still hiding her identity. Everything was peaceful until a man came claiming her as his wife. Since then, her peaceful life flipped upside down. People who want her dead found her but his so-called husband never left her. He was even willing to kill and be killed just to protect her.

Great Minds Think Alike

When Nora left the underground facility with Cole and Rhys, Timothy made one final check on Bowie Faulkner and made sure that someone would look after him, not care for him. Just to make sure that he will not die from broken bones and wound infection.

They cannot have him dead. Because where is the fun in that?

After that, he left the underground facility and made sure that Nora doesn't have anywhere else to go that would put her in danger. Thankfully, Nora plans to stay at the loghouse because apparently, J and Jacob are coming as well.

Later that day, Timothy drove from Naupaka Mountain to Crocus province which took him hours. He had busy days behind him but Timothy cannot wait for another night or day. The moment Bowie Faulkner was dropped in his room at the underground facility, he made plans to leave for Crocus.

Because he cannot wait any longer.
