The whole world was currently in turmoil. The chairman and sole owner of the Sparrow Group was almost killed by her own former husband, the man who founded the Sword of Damocles company. The man who got jailed due to assault and abuse.Then there's the fact that her son was hospitalized due to him being the alleged target of the villains who attacked the university campus.

It looked like the Sparrow Group was going to fall down as countless companies eyed the weakened Sparrow Group. Aiming to get the biggest part of the cake for themselves.

It's reported that the man escaped a few days ago by lock picking his way out to freedom undetected. This report raised questions amongst the netizens and citizens of the nation. They questioned that if someone can escape within a year easily, and undetected, then does it mean that the prisons are not handling and doing their jobs properly?

The question single handedly made the citizens forgot about the matter of the campus attack as their attention was now turned to the penetentiary facilities scattered all throughout the nation. The questions raised became more and more absurd in some sense like how will the population be sure that the captured superhumans can really be kept secured if a normal man can easily escape.

Samantha was currently on a hospital bed, she just undegone an operation where the bullet that was lodged in her legs was removed. Sadly, from the X-ray data, her bone fractured and shattered as it was directly hit by the magnum bullet. This simply means that she won't be able to walk for the meantime on two foot as her bones needs to heal if everything goes well.

Gerald on the otherhand still doesn't know what happened to his mother as Zero deliberately blocked the information from reaching the ears of Gerald. Zero knows full well how will this affect the mind of her master. If he hears this right now, he might go insane in pursuit of eliminating all the evil by killing them. She just need for Gerald's mother to tell him what happened so the damage would be minimized at the very least.

However, a nurse spilled the beans accidentally which really made Gerald absolutely mad and crazy as he threw a tantrum and cried a lot. Saying it's all his fault for being too weak and promising he won't be this weak in the future.

Gerald was currently looking at the city outside the window of his private suite in the hospital as he recalls all his experiences and thinks for the future.

"Damn it!" Gerald stomped his thighs as tears started to flow out of his eyes.

"I'm powerless, I may have a superior intellect but in reality, I'm pathetic! I can create those technologies yet, I can't even use them due to how pathetic I am!" complained Gerald as he laid his back on the bed and started to let his tears flow out freely.

"Zero tell me, am I that pathetic? Am I really that pathetic?" growled Gerald as he looked at the holographic face of Zero gently floating on above the watch he's using.

Zero didn't answered him as she kept her mouth zipped and silent.

2080, Japan, a mansion on a hill just outside Tokyo...

There can be seen a handsome man with a black man bun. Wearing a sleek black suit as his green eyes surveyed the beautiful pond in their backyard. Near him was a woman on a wheelchair. The woman might have aged but her beauty was still evident nonetheless.

The man was of course Gerald and the woman was Samantha, his mother. It's been 5 years since they left America due to the unreasonable government pressure. They also relocated their whole operations to Tokyo as the Yaoyorozu family helped them with the matters of settling down on Japan and getting back on track.

Samantha resigned from the position of chairman as she let her son take over the company. She just wanted to support her son on whatever he does as her near death experience made her understand that if everything is she doing is for her son then she shouldn't force him to do anything instead, be always there for him. Thus, because of this, she let Gerald go wild on everything and was just supporting him and correcting his mistakes if there's even any.

Weird enough, her son didn't really got mad on power and wealth. Instead, he made everything better with his "helper" that he created. At first, Samantha was absolutely against "creating" human life. She saw this as unethical and kind of defeats the point of having free will if you'll create a life.

But then, her son convinced her that he's not creating human life but just putting a microchip on the brain of a human body and letting Zero or rather a sub program of her take over. Nonetheless, she still didn't want something like that so her son was forced to do it in secret.

Up until now, she still isn't comfortable around the human body of Zero's sub program as she treats it as some sort of unethical creation.

Gerald let the sub program of Zero take over as the chairman as he hated paperwork and instead dealt with matters related to technology.

He created a human shell for Zero to inhibit as he made her the chairman to eliminate any unnecessary attention to him. But to do this, Gerald has to let Zero process and gather emotional data from people all over the world so she'll have the emotional capabilities of a human. So instead of programming it and risk creating a dangerous AI, he just created a sub program out of Zero with all the emotional capabilities and this sub program was then inserted to the body. The sub program was essentially just Zero but instead of having the cold robot attitude, she has human like and is subject to change. He called this sub program, Leigh.

As for the shell, Gerald created a skeletal base of a metal with a special kind of atoms that can transmit data and is filled up with countless nanobots. Then he cultivated the muscles, skin, teeth, and many more. All the organs of the body are a special lab grown stuff with all the rather weird imperfections almost eliminated except for the brain. The brain was basically a handheld quantum computer, able to process ginormous amounts of data in a fraction of a second.

The whole body was completely human, she can reproduce, she needs to eat, she needs to drink,even evolve, and every normal stuff a human will do.

Gerald was absolutely happy with his creation as he treated her like his wife. He goes on dates with her, takes her out for shopping, all those stuff, or at least that's what it looked like.

On the code, Gerald didn't make Leigh aware that she's not truly a human, but he made sure to have a reset code for her when she started to become aware of her true nature. The reset code will simply eliminate all memory including the backups of her related to her being an artificial existence. This way, Gerald wouldn't need to be paranoid if she'll suddenly gain complete sentience.

He made her a false set of memory and a cool backstory on how they knew each other. This way, Gerald would also have a girlfriend of some sort and she'll have more than one use instead of just being a chairman. She also programmed her to be a top of the line fighter as she's an expert in all the combat arts available and known to man, excluding the fact that she's basically as smart as Gerald due to the quantum computer working as her brain.

Though it's not known if he really created Leigh for the chairman position or he really created himself a girlfriend and wife. The only thing known is that he created himself a female companion.

This plan worked flawlessly, as Leigh's current identity was that of an orphan who climbed her way up to the top of society due to her bring a genius as she got brought to the family of Sparrow first before becoming the chairman.

Zero on the other hand has improved as her combat assistive capabilities was further improved, making her the ultimate battle AI.

The world on the other hand, was brewing in conflict as the continuous appearance of quirks and the rate they appeared far surpassed the predicted numbers. And with the increased appearance of the quirks, greedy people such as ambitious politicians wanted to take all the people with powerful quirks for themselves.

Nations all over the world started a recruitment campaign on the people with suspected powerful quirks as conflicts and skirmishes between government agents became a daily occurrence.

There are rare instances where killing someone needs to be done as they crossed the line.

While all of these things are happening, the group of companies of Gerald got a business boom. They supply anti-superhuman equipments as they love to call it, to nations all around the world.

You need a bullet that can paralyze a superhuman? We got you! Take this red tipped bullet, it will surely paralyze not just superhumans but also normal humans.

The Sparrow Group these past few years has seen more conflicts than the past as rival group of companies tried to damage them one way or another.

There's even a time that the rivals created a coalition but all got trampled before the heel of Gerald like an ant they are. They had their companies annexed easily as the ever-growing conglomerate of the Sparrow Group was unstoppable.

The government of America wanted get the battle suits for themselves as the combat potential and capabilities are so high that it's really revolutionary. They did all means such as pressuring them using some ways the government and politicians can think of, to ways that seemed like a pedophile has taken the position of the president as he's offering candies to the Sparrow Group in exchange of that battle suits.

Nevertheless, none worked as the Sparrow Group did a quick talk with the Japanese government and easily had themselves gain favorable treatment. Of course, this was with the help of the Yaoyorozu family.

In retaliation to the pressure done by the government, the Sparrow Group limited their supplied anti-superhuman products to the nation of America. The rest of the world. was happy as villain problems was getting rampant and their own local superhero leagues can't cope up properly.

The American government was dumbfounded by this as the Senate and the Congress demanded the president go apologize which the president did so under high pressure. The president offered concessions and favorable deals to the Sparrow group which greatly made Gerald happy as he returned the status of the supplies to everyone.

Currently, the status of the Sparrow Group was already immense, they bought Edison, SpaceY, and many more other companies as they became a megacorporation with wealth surpassing countries combined. They all did this just by calling their products "anti-villain" "anti-superhuman" and "villain-proof".

Gerald on the other hand has done things immensely. He forcefully converted himself from the shy type of guy to a man who's ready to do everything and anything to keep his loved ones safe. He became a Machiavellian, someone who'll kill for his family and doesn't shy away if his family's life was on the line.

In these 7 years that passed by, he mastered each and every combat arts available. From Karate, to Jiu Jutsu, to Judo, to Fencing, and many more. He also created serums, lots of different kinds of serums that each has a different effect from a short term one, to permanent.

Of course he didn't forget about his battle suits who has now grew in number as the Invicta series just seen the Invicta LX.

A suit with almost unbreakable defense, a virtually infinite number of available weaponry due to the nanotechnology, ans each of these wepaons can blow up a Boeing 747 in 1 shot without leaving anything, not even an ash will be left easily.

The armor was made up of a combination of highly advanced nanotechnology and a special kind of atom. An atom that can transmit data. This way, Zero can effectively assist him in combat.

He, of course didn't forget Leigh, he created her a battle suit the same level and firepower to that of his Invicta LX. He called this Aeternum. The Aeternum series was essentially the same as its Invicta series counterparts except for the figure as the Aeternum series has a womanly figure, and the color.

He also had incredible breakthroughs in the field of superpowers or rather, quirks as the world likes to call it. He has found out the quirks come from a special kind of chromosome formed due to evolution.

The evolution suddenly took place as if someone or something made it speed up. Nonetheless, this special kind of chromosome can evolve into something or be completely replicated to the descendant. So, a superhuman can either have an extra chromosome or 2 extras if he has 2 quirks and it all depends on different factors if someone can awaken their superpower.

At this moment, Samantha slowly drove her wheelchair towards the railings of the balcony as he stayed beside Gerald. The left leg of Gerald was there, completely regenerated and good as new. If creating a complete organic body can be done by Gerald easily then creating himself a fully functioning organic leg was of course easy.

"Mom, I simply don't understand why you don't want me to fix your leg. Fixing it would be like a piece of cake for me." said Gerald as he looked at his mother lovingly.

"Gerald, you should understand that this broken leg signifies me breaking our vows with your father. You don't need to fix something like this, just focus on the company." said Samantha as she smiled at her son who's looking at her though she's uncomfortable that her son created a girlfriend literally she just turns a blind eye on thst part whenever she meets with Gerald's unofficial girlfriend, stepsister, and the chairman of the company. If this is where her son is happy then she'll support it. It's the least she can do.

"Mom...the company is already on a much better scale. We're starting the space plan. By as early as 2100 we'll gonna have a completely independent and self functioning moon base and moon station. This is just one of the major plans we have set..." said Gerald with pride behind his voice as he reported the details to her mother in full detail.

"As for the matter regarding the Japanese government take over, there's a problem and this problem was pretty serious. Someone with a superpower that can steal others superpowers and take it for his own is trying to control the government like we do. "
