A new day had started, and Alaric wasn't able to get a wink of sleep. In order to keep his mind in top shape, he used 3 hours of the night to meditate on Ooze Village's announcement platform.

Getting into a state of meditation was actually much more difficult when your state of mind was in a mess. Alaric struggled through distracting thoughts about the group of robed people and the new information he received from Penne Ryder.

'I never knew a simple session of meditation could be so difficult, still... I feel refreshed physically and mentally.' Alaric thought.

The night was still young, which Alaric found rather convenient. There was plenty to be done around Ooze Village, which meant plenty of ways to rid his mind of distracting thoughts.
