2 TSCJTTM CH2 New Skill and Preparing for Trouble

When Rudra opened his eyes, he found himself on the rooftop of an abandoned building in a remote area that was a few hundred meters away from the nearest residential area in Sendai City. Immediately, his System Notification tab started blinking again. He shook his head before opening it.

Rudra smiled at this pleasant surprise. He had just been thinking of what he should do to adapt to this world. Yet the problem had been so easily solved now.

In his inventory, Rudra saw a leather drawstring pouch with ornamental design, the kind they used to have in medieval times. He chuckled while shaking his head.

'System, your aesthetics are so old-fashioned.' Rudra said in his mind. He gave a mental command to open the pouch while still in the inventory and the pouch disappeared. In its place, Rudra found a few dozen items filling his inventory.

There were various identity cards, bank debit cards and documents he would need to seamlessly adapt to this world. There were also all types of clothes ranging from casual to party wear to formals and school uniform.

He noticed among one of the identity cards that he would be a school student who is transferred to Japan from India. His registered name was Rudra Shankar, and according to documents his parents were dead and he was being taken care of by a trust fund that interfered minimally in his life. Of course all this was nonsense made up by the System to fool the authorities.

There was also a smartphone in the inventory and Rudra took it out. This smartphone didn't seem to be a normal one, because it shimmered mystically as soon as he took it out, updating its settings, features, and details on its own.

Within a few moments it had completely adapted to this world. Rudra could now see news alerts, notifications and apps on it just like any other phone, even though it had been completely blank a few moments ago.

'I should also be able to speak the common language of this place, which is obviously Japanese.' Rudra thought. He searched his inventory but found that System had made no such preparation. Then he remembered about his powers and smacked his forehead.

"I can be such a Moron. I can just create the necessary skill." Rudra thought as he started preparing the skill. In a few moments, he had created the most appropriate on that would solve this problem once and for all.

'Perfect!!' Rudra smiled inwardly as he bought it. This skill was a divine skill that was available to most of the god-like races in the Marvel World. Since he was also on the path to godhood, this was an essential skill to have.

Rudra left the abandoned building after dressing up in the school student's uniform he had in his inventory. In the current world, that was the safest identity he could hide behind and not be disturbed by random problems. As he walked towards the glittering lights of the more populated area of the city, he checked his current status.

'Well that is cool. Hmm, my remaining skill points are kind of low right now, aren't they?' Rudra thought.

He was now only left with 400 free skill points. From the way he had been squandering his skill points, Rudra felt that he should start earning more and keep them in reserve.

"Out of the two skills I created, I can't use Ephemeral Mirror in public, so it can't be used to generate skill points for me. So all that is left is All-Speak, which is used for talking mostly. How do I use that to generate Skill points?" Rudra thought about it then remembered main feature of All-Speak.

"If I can speak and comprehend any language, then the best way to generate skill points would be to simply listen to people speaking different languages." Rudra thought. Rudra got an inkling of how to properly use his skill, but first he decided to get an accommodation for himself.

'System has not given me a place to stay, but I do have a few debit cards. Lets see how much money I have.' Rudra thought as he looked for a public ATM. On finding one, he took out one of the debit cards and inserted it into the machine. One seeing the details of the balance in his account, Rudra was stunned as he counted the number of zeros in a daze.

'Damn, the system does look down on money I guess. Currently, the amount of money I have is like dirt on my hands. I can buy anything I want without needing to worry.' Rudra thought excitedly.

Rudra's next destination was the largest mall he could find. On reaching there, Rudra went on a shopping spree. He bought the best laptop, electronic accessories, and gadgets he could find, regardless of the price. He had always wanted to spend money like this on gadgets in his previous life, but he never had enough money to do so.

After satisfying his previous life's desires, Rudra started focusing on his current one. His current world was a dangerous one, danger existed on every turn. He needed suitable weapons and equipment to fight them, but unfortunately he would attract unwanted attention if he looked for weapons.

Therefore Rudra decided to continue acting like a spoiled rich young man and kept buying a bunch of stuff seemingly from any store that caught his eye. However, he was secretly accumulating weapons in the form of day to day items such as Kitchen Knives, Hammers, Sporting Equipment, Camping Tools, etc.

On finishing his shopping spree, Rudra contacted a private taxi service and hired a large car. Loading up his purchased items into the car with the help of the extremely pleased and excited mall staff, Rudra instructed the driver to go to the best hotel in the city. After they reached the hotel, Rudra hired their best and largest room and got them to send all his stuff to his room.

The room Rudra hired was definitely the best room and worth its price. Rather than a room, it was more suitable to called it a luxurious apartment that had all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. Hot Tub in Bathroom, Modular Kitchen with fully stocked Refrigerator and other necessary appliances, room sized walk-in closet, and much more.

Rudra ordered a sumptuous meal from the hotel and after that he began his plan to earn skill points effortlessly. He went to the most popular video streaming site and started making a long playlist of most popular Music, Comedy, and other interesting videos in various different languages from all around the world. He put enough material in the playlist to last him for over a week even if he played it continuously.

After that the grind began. With the high quality laptop and speakers, the content of the videos was clearly heard by him. No matter the language or the variation of regional accents, Rudra was able to comprehend all of it as easily as if they were his mother-tongue that he had been speaking since childhood.

While watching all these videos, Rudra didn't forget to pay attention to his points. After watching for a while, he noted that his points were increasing at the rate of 1 per minute. Rudra was not disappointed by this.

While it was not as much as other skills which may give 2-3 points with every use of the skill, All-Speak was allowing him to earn points while doing no hard work and in a continuous manner. Other skills such as fighting or exercising would require constant effort from him. But with All-Speak, he just had to be a couch potato and have fun spending the money System had generously given him.

At the rate he was earning points, he would earn 60 points in an hour, 1440 points in a day, and 10080 points in a week by doing nothing except relaxing and watching various entertaining videos online.

Rudra had also determined the exact moment in the timeline he was currently in. It was currently 1st June 2018, and thanks to the system's help he was already a student of the Miyagi Sugisawa Municipal High School, which was the same High School as the Main Lead of this world, Yuji Itadori. The supposed incident of him becoming the Sukuna's Host would take place on the 10th or 11th of June.

This meant that he had more than enough time to continuously spam his skill and earn points. Make no mistake, there was no way he was going to come in contact with the series of events surrounding the main character without having enough strength himself. The only way to do that was to earn points and create more skills that will be useful in the current situation.

Hence, the grind begins.
