That was the sight that awoke me one morning. I didn't freak out. From what I've heard people who get systems never freak out when they appear, like a part of them always knew that it was going to happen one day.

Systems have been in our world for a long time, as far as written history goes back it tells of people who could command the elements, people who could slice a mountain in half with little effort and people who could part the seas and oceans with a single word. And later in history people have learned to call them systems.

There have always been room for seven system users although as far as written history, or public history you never know with the government, there has always been only six system users at a time.

It had been stated by multiple system users that there was meant to be seven system users, although for some reason there were only six at a time. Although it is possible that the Government had removed records of the seventh system user, I didn't think it was possible for them to do that.

The reason I even had that thought was because, to me and a few others, it was obvious that the government was corrupt. The power had gone through their heads with being able to control the system users.

At this point in time, before I woke up, there were only six system users, but unless one died overnight, this would make me the elusive seventh system user.

With that title on me, and if I could prove it if I went to may government facility, I would be able to get anything I wanted so long as I worked for them.

But right now I wasn't focusing on that train of thought, in fact, I hadn't been focused on anything else the past week other than this one thing. And the system had just reminded me of it.

[Mission: Find out who is blackmailing your sister and stop them!

Description: Your sister has been acting weird around you lately and when you went to give her a hug after she came home looking shaken up, she pushed you off of her and started to have a panic attack. But you managed to calm her down and she fell asleep soon after. After that you took her phone and found out she was being blackmailed by somebody. Stop the person or people doing this by any means you deem necessary!

Rewards:

- 2 levels

- Random item

- Saving your sister

- Satisfaction of hurting the one who blackmailed her

Failure conditions:

- Not figuring out who did it

- Not doing enough to stop it from happening even if you find the person or people

- Being stopped before you can do anything]

The system didn't need to give me this mission, as I was going to do it anyways, but if the system didn't give me this mission and appeared I might have forgotten about it for a while, and I couldn't let anything distract me from this. Not when someone was hurting my family.

And the fact that the system appeared would actually help me. I didn't have an exact idea how, but the people who had them weren't called 'Gods' for a reason.

The screen of the system disappeared after a mental command, so that makes it easy for me.

I sat up in my bed and reached over to the desk beside my bed and took my phone off of it. I turned it on quickly and saw that it was '9:34', a bit early for me but I had some days when I woke up early for no reason.

And the summer holidays had just started in my school, so I would have a lot of time to just figure stuff out.

I put on some regular clothes for myself, since I knew I would be going out today. It just consisted of black tracksuit bottoms, a grey t-shirt and a red jumper.

While getting changed I was also on the internet looking for breaking news concerning system users. There was no breaking news, and the only relatively new articles were just some non-mainstream websites that were pointing out reasons certain system users were together.

And then another one that I personally found interesting and disgusting at the same time was one that talked about how all the system users were apparently in one big relationship, even the terrorist system user.

I didn't stay on that page for long, as it was badly written and didn't make any sense.

I walked down the stairs quietly as I knew the rest of my family would be asleep. So, with practiced grace I eventually reached the bottom without hearing a single creak in the stairs.

I went into the kitchen before just grabbing two slices of break, a tub of butter and a packet of ham before making a sandwich.

I just slapped some butter on it with a knife I had gotten, and then put one slice of ham on it, because putting anymore was ridiculous.

I also got a cup of apple juice from the fridge.

I ate them, but took my time with it as I knew that eating fast would give me cramps. And I didn't know if I would have to do any strenuous exercises.

After I ate my food, I left the house quickly but quietly. But before I left I took an extra jacket with me, not knowing who I might summon.

I mean, there was no way I wasn't summoning someone. They could help me with my… 'problem'. And in case they were famous, or infamous, the extra jacket could cover them up.

So while I walked out of the estate that my family lived in, I tried to think of a place where I could use the system for the first time.

I thought of one place. I hadn't been there but I had passed it a few times on my way home from school.

So, with a bit more power in my steps that were now filled with purpose and determination, I set out to where it was.

Once I was there I saw that it was indeed a good place to use the system.

It was beside train tracks but I wouldn't get any attention if a train passed.

When I finally decided it was time to summon whoever would come, I just acted on instinct, but knew this was how to do it.

"System, use a Summoning Ticket." I said out loud as a floating golden ticket then appeared in front of me.

It flowed for a bit before changing into a glowing human figure.

When the golden glow receded it showed the person who was summoned.

He was a man in around the age of early thirty's, had neat black hair that was parted in the middle while also being a bit curly on the top. He was wearing regular clothes that was just a button up shirt and some black slacks.

He looked me up and down before smiling a polite smile. "It's nice to meet you, my name is Joe Foster. I assume you are a system user of this era. Well, let's get along." Joe said politely as he stuck his hand out.

I shook his hand as well, while trying to think of anyone famous with that name. But I don't think there was anyone.

"What are you famous for?" I asked curiously.

He just laughed while patting my shoulder with a bit more force than one would expect from someone who didn't seem that well built.

"Well get to that later. Now, is there anything I can help you with?" Joe asked as he started to walk out of the place they were in, immediately taking in the surroundings.

"Yeah." I responded immediately with a bit of coldness in my voice that I didn't notice, but Joe did as he looked at me with a raised eyebrow, looking impressed.

"Well," he started as he did bow with his upper body with one hand on his heart and the other to the side. "I'm a servant, and you my master, I'll do as you command." He then looked back up at me with a big smile on his face that gave me the impression he was talking the truth. "No matter what it is."

I also somehow found a smile similar to his creeping up on my face. "Good. Then let's go." I said to him as I threw him my jacket, it looked a bit tight on him, but he didn't complain.

On the way to town I informed him of everything that was happening in the world that was at the top of my head.

How we were currently in Ireland. How I was actually the seventh system user. About the speculated strength of the current system users, besides myself.

And I also informed him of what we were doing, and who we were looking for. Although I didn't say why, I didn't want to say that this was my sister that was getting blackmailed and made to do who knows what. Although I also didn't tell Joe that someone was getting blackmailed, only that I wanted the guy.

He also had a few questions for me as well. He asked about how America was doing, as he was from there when he was alive. And he also asked about music, more specifically about jazz music.

Both of which would narrow down who he was. Although I still couldn't put his name to anything famous.

After walking around town for a while he finally saw who we were looking for.

He had dirty blonde hair that was clearly dyed, and it was pulled back with some jel. He was wearing a white tank top with some blue cargo shorts. His skin was tanned and he had some muscles on him.

We also saw he was talking to someone else, and paying closer attention I saw that he passed a small baggie that had some white stuff in it.

I didn't know the guy personally, or really at all, but considering he was black mailing my sister and it probably didn't bother him I could only assume it was one thing. Drugs. I didn't do drugs or know much about them but I knew that if it looked like a white powder and was a drug, then it was Cocaine.

Seems like Joe would be buying some drugs from him.

So that's how we came up with the plan. Joe would pretend to buy some drugs while bringing him into a nearby alley that he was beside, so that I could ambush him and knock him out or something.

So I very smoothly walked into the alley without him even turning in my direction. And then I hid in between two dumpsters, but not before grabbing a wooden plank off of a pallet.

"So, what do you want?" The guy asked as I saw Joe walk past me, and then I saw the foot of the guy.

He stopped walking forward as Joe stopped as well. Joe turned to look at him, seeing Jayden in between the dumpsters with the plank ready to jump out and knock him out. So he just smirked and spoke cruelly. "Well, I don't want anything. But my master has some business with you."

The guy looked confused before he saw someone jump out at him while swinging a plank at his head. Unfortunately for him, he wasn't fast enough to dodge it.

I looked down at the guy seeing his phone fall out of his pocket onto the ground as the guy lay there as well. His nose was broken and was bleeding profusely, and he probably lost a tooth or one was really loose if he was lucky.

"I'll drag him further in, make sure no one is out there before coming back." I said as I shoved his phone in my pocket and then dragged his arms before dragging him further into the alley.

"Well, at least he got some spirit." Joe mumbled to himself. Doing as he was told he looked around for anyone coming there, but most were driving cars. This wasn't even a crowded path normally so that made sense, although Joe didn't know that.

When he was walking towards Jayden after making sure, a shine in the corner of his eye caught his attention. He smirked, he would recognise that shine from anywhere.

He went towards it, and as he suspected, it really was it. His weapon of choice.

He grinned as he picked it up by the handle with two hands and before moving one hand to feel the sharpness of it.

He looked at the small cut on his finger as it bled a little. He licked the blood before he went on his way back to Jayden with his weapon. His only weapon.

An axe.
