Twin Brother Shane

Eventually Avalon arrived at his office. She looked into the window and could see her brother's figure inside. 'He's still working…' She muttered seeing him at his desk and his hand diligently moving.

Avalon after checking to make sure that her brother was inside she went in and flew over him. As she was over him she lowered her head. [How's it going little brother?]

"Aah?! Avalon! What the-? What are you doing here?"

[I got bored. Besides I haven't seen you in a long time I've missed my little brother!]

"Your only older by 5 minutes."

[Yeah yeah. If you add my first life I'm almost older than the bitch mother.]

Shane Liman, Avalon's (younger) twin brother. He has short dark blue hair and violet eyes the two of them do look similar to one another. He was taller and more built than his sister. "So how do you like the Onyx Wolves?"

[It's not bad. Using my human strength and physical abilities I am a little behind since I'm a women and been stuck in the 13th for sometime. But I'm looking forward to it, it will be some kind of excitement to distract me.]

"I see. You probably were going crazy being stuck in the 13th."

[I'll admit some people were hard to not knock there teeth out. So lazy… even when thinking about myself and other's I've known in my past life we were not that lazy even in the end.] Avalon huffed crossing her arms in slight annoyance.

Shane who has lived with Avalon was more than away of her 'condition' and the full moon's so he was quiet used to this appearance of his sister. Though it has been at least a few years since he's last seen her like this in person. "So sis what do you think of the captain?"

[The captain? Hmmm. He doesn't seem like that bad a guy. I don't sense any ill will and I find his aura very relaxing in a sense. I haven't known him for long but he's perceptive, he figured out that i've been holding back… since I've restricted myself to only normal strength… but then I haven't hidden it all that much either as I had a… situation that required me to show of some of my skills.]

"What?"

[It's fine… in the end only my hands were injured slightly nothing serious.]

"Have you learned anything else about your new captain?"

[Not really I haven't really had much of a chance to talk to him considering. However he has been kind to me. I've also should him proper respect… since he has a good sense. But I probably won't since... you know.]

"I see. Well I'll just tell you this now sis. There is something special about your captain. I hope when you find out you'll help him out."

[… that so. If I find him worthy I'll do so. Even if I don't necessary hate him and can feel comfortable with him… I can't fully trust him any further than as my commanding officer… even if he isn't classist. He still works for the government and military. I will never trust them with my secrets.]

Shane shifted in his seat slightly as he looked at his sister. His fingers linked together as he rested his head on his hands. "Yes I understand. Ava? Does your goal remain the same?"

[Of course. Once I'm finished with this ridiculous idiocy of the family… I'll help Keyne's people… and you?]

"My loyalty has always remained the same."

Avalon smiled. [I see that's good to hear. Oh before I forget Antonio found out and has decided to follow me though this whole endeavour.]

"Antonio? How did that happen? Your ability makes it very hard to tell you are the same person with your disguise."

[Yeah it was a temporary lapse in judgment. Though I don't entirely regret it after the fact.]

"What happened?"

[A car battery exploded right in front of us. I in a moment of surprise… called out his nickname and stood in front of him getting hit with the acid and diverting shrapnel from hitting us with physic.]

"Yeah that would do it."

[… Sigh. He's staying longer to stay by my side and help me make sure to hide the secret.]

"Well if it's him… I don't have to worry too much. He'll defiantly make sure you'll be safe."

[Yes he is a great friend and extremely loyal… though I don't ask for his loyalty. He'll insure my desire is fulfilled.]

"Yes you are right about that knowing him."

[He probably told Chloe in his last letter. Oh have you sent a letter to Nora recently?]

"N-no. Why would I?!"

Shane's face became slightly red from Avalon's question that was very suggestive. [How sad. The poor girl would probably love a letter from you brother. She hasn't heard from either of us for sometime so probably think we've died or something.] Avalon huffed teasing her brother slightly.

"S-shut up Avalon!"

[What can I not sympathies with my friend? I haven't received any really messages from anyone after all, so I've been quiet lonely. Though I do at least get a monthly letter from mother which is pleasing.] Avalon chuckling slightly at her brother's flushed face. [Anyway Shane I didn't just come her for just pleasantries sadly. There are some other things I like to talk to you about since we have the chance.] Shane just nodded in response.

After about an hour Shane was finished with a fair amount of his paper work and Avalon had a chance to talk with Shane about certain things.

[It's getting I'll let you go so you'll have a chance to rest tonight.]

"Yes… good luck to you sister. I'm sure things will go as you wish and more. Good things will come out of this."

[I see that's good to hear. I'll see you again soon Shane.]

"Alright I'll see you soon Ava."

With that Avalon left Shane's office and begun to fly back to her camp.
