32 Elders Council
"Take this robe and put it on."
It was early in the morning and Tetsuo had informed Kentaro about the Elders council.
Tetsuo gave a robe ressembling the one Kentaro had. It was dark red-brown and also had the clan's crest on the back, it was just more official.
Kentaro wore the robe and left the house with Tetsuo. Yuka, Hatsu and Fumiko were still asleep, they would not come as they are not shinobi of the clan.
The streets of the village were packed with the Shinobi wearing the same robe as Kentaro.
They were walking towards the center of the village. There was a large stone building painted in white and not red like all the other houses.
The clansmen made way for Tetsuo when they saw him, he was the clan leader after all.
"Kentaro, enter the building and find a place to sit, I have to join the elders."
Tetsuo let Kentaro on his own. He entered the building and saw Habiki and Aruno sitting in the front, near a little podium.
Everybody was sitting on tatamis with their legs crossed.
Kentaro made his way to them and sat down next to Aruno.
"Hey Aruno, how are you doing."
Aruno looked at him, he had a little smile on his face.
"My cousin, Kentaro, I'm doing good as you can see. I haven't thanked you yet from when you faced Madara, this saved our lives and gave us the time to escape."
"It's what I should have done. so, no need to thank me."
Habiki was staying silent, he didn't even greet Kentaro. Maybe it would take some before he could forgive him for what happened in the land of grass.
All the clansmen who were present were whispering and talking about something, Kentaro didn't know what was happening.
On the podium were five big stone chairs.
Four old men and one middle aged man made there appearance. Obviously, the middle aged man was Tetsuo.
They each sat down on a stone chair, Tetsuo sat in the one that was placed in the center.
"Silence, please!" Tetsuo made everyone silent.
The old man who was sitting to the left most stone chair began talking.
"As you all know, the Kamizuru clan has been hired by a feudal lord to drive us out of our own territory. We have been waging war for three years now. Four days ago, one of the Elders of our clan, Hideo, was killed in battle."
Hideo Fujimoto was Kentaro's grandfather.
The old man sitting to the right of Tetsuo resumed.
"He has been killed by the strongest shinobi in the Kamizuru clan, Ishikawa Kamizuru. He wields the earth style like every shinobi in this land, but, their clan specializes in the use of bees in battle and so does he.
This war has dured enough! We have sent a message to the Kamizuru clan, requesting a truce."
The clansmen were visibly not happy when they heard that.
"We have to take revenge for Elder Hideo!"
"Yeah, those bastards must die!"

...
Tetsuo gestured for the clansmen to stop shouting and talked further.
"Listen, my brethren. I understand your rage, he was my father and I, of all people desire a truce. If we do not find an agreement, then, we shall destroy them to pieces!"
Most of the clansmen had to reluctantly agree with what Tetsuo said.
"My brethren, we will not force anybody to agree with the truce. Yes, we have already sent a message, but now, we will vote democraticly. If the most of you are against the truce then we will continue waging war to the Kamizuru."
The old man sitting left to Tetsuo was going to take care of the votes.
"Very well. Those who are against the truce, put your hands in the air."
In the room were about four hundred shinobi. Out of the four hundred, one hundred eighty put their hands in the air.
Those who hadn't put their hands in the air were influenced by what Tetsuo had said.
They had nothing to lose by negotiating with the Kamizuru clan and if the negotiations failed then they would continue waging war.
"Very good! Now that this problem has been solved, the heir to our clan has come back a successful shinobi. Kentaro, come to the podium!"
Kentaro wasn't prepared for this, he stood up awkwardly and walked to the podium.
"Kentaro has grown up as you can see, we have heard of his exploits. One of those is overpowering Madara Uchiha so that some clansmen could escape."
Overpowering Madara was an exaggeration, the Elder surely said this to give more fighting spirit to the clansmen.
Because having a shinobi that can overpower Madara is unseen, the only exception being Hashirama Senju.
"Kentaro will be one of the bodyguards who will accompany the clan leader and the second bodyguard will be Wanda, are their any objections?"
The room was silent, showing that there were no objections.
The Elders council ended. The Shinobi of the clan were given all the information about what was happening with the Kamizuru clan and they were informed about Kentaro's return.
Tetsuo and Kentaro were walking back home.
"Father, who is Wanda?"
"Wanda is a powerful and talented young men. You are the heir of the clan, but your position as future clan leader can be put in danger by him."
Kentaro was curious to know the extent of Wanda's power.
"For what elements does he have an affinity for?"
"Wanda has an affinity for fire and earth. One year after you were gone, Wanda was seventeen years old. He fused fire and earth, giving him the control over one advanced element, lava."
Kentaro was already impressed by Wanda and he hadn't even met him yet.
By doing simple math, Kentaro knew that Wanda and him were the same age which is twenty years old.
"Anyways, I won't die any soon. So, you'll have the time to control an advanced element and impose yourself as the true heir of the clan."
All the Shinobi of the clan returned to their houses, waiting for the Kamizuru clan's response.
