40 39. Priests

The Strawhats have separated with their own team & task. Jon & Chopper guard the ship while the other explore the place. While guarding, they decide to train themselves. But sometime after training, a man came with a big bird.

"Trespassing God's holy land, is a crime punishable with death. Now die!"-Man

The man & bird attack Jon's clone that train on cloud. The clone activate sharingan and avoid the javelin from the man. The clone saw a dial is hidden inside the javelin, also there's one inside the bird's mouth. He don't know what dials those are, but he will find out.

"Hooh, you can avoid that. But can you avoid again? 'Mantra'!"-Man

The man thrust his javelin again and the clone try to avoid it. But the man suddenly change the javelin's direction to where the clone move. The clone is caught of guard and got hit then popped. The man of course surprised seeing this.

'What's that? He read my movement?'-Jon

"Devil fruit? What devil fruit is this?"-Man

The man look around and see there are two guys with the same face with the one he attacked earlier.

"Clones?"-Man

"You must be a priest of Enel, who're you?"-Jon's clone

"*Smirk* Well, know this you blue sea trash, i am Shura, God Enel strongest priest."-Shura

"S-strongest? Oh no"-Chopper

"Don't worry Chopper, that must be a bluff. Just look at his mustache!"-Jon's clone

"Really? What's with his mustache?"-Chopper

"The strongest's mustache must be very manly and thick, not thin like a rat's whisker"-Jon's clone

Shura fumed in rage hearing this, he look at the clone and Chopper angrily. He's too focuses on them that he doesn't realize the real Jon had make a clone in his place while hide and suppressed his chakra and presence. This hiding technique is standard for every ninja.

"Bastards, i'll kill you!"-Shura

Shura attack Chopper & Jon's clone from the air. The bird fly toward them and when they're in range, the bird spew fire from it's mouth. Jon's clone immediately take Chopper and flickered. Jon & his clones have activated sharingan since the first clone got defeated.

'So the bird has fire dial, what's his dial then?'-Jon

The man attack again with his bird but Jon's clone always avoid while he bring Chopper.

"Mantra!"-Shura

The man attack again and now he always change javelin's trajectory to where the clone move. After sometime the javelin become red and it hit the clone. The clone didn't avoid it to test the javelin's power. Just when Shura want to attack Chopper, Jon and his new clone come. Jon take Chopper and his new clone defend on the front.

"Your technique seem to read, no, predict my movement. You change trajectory even before i move, so it must be prediction. It must be that Mantra you said before."-Jon

"Hmph, you're rather smart, but it's not prediction. I can hear your thoughts and know how you will move. That's why you can't win, just give up."-Shura

'Hear my thoughts? It's just like what people say about Enel, so this 'Mantra' is a technique that can be learn, not Enel's unique ability. Hehe, i'll get the training method from you 'Thin mustache'. Also, his javelin's dial is actually heat, similar to his bird. Now i can make a plan, and i know a good plan for overconfident people like him.'-Jon

Shura attacked them again and Jon's clone defend his attack. But the clone didn't bother to avoid or guard, he just let the javelin thrust him. Jon take Chopper and hid behind the tree, and Shura is confused.

'He didn't avoid?'-Shura

Jusy when the clone got hit, instead of popping, it explode.

*BOOOM*

The explosion make Shura and his bird flung back to the other side. Jon has made a shadow clone explosion. He even add some paper bomb to make it bigger. It take higher chakra than normal shadow clone. But he has Yin Seal, so chakra is his least worry now.

"Did we win?"-Chopper

"Not yet, he's fine. He use his bird to guard him from explosion so he's just got damage from falling. His bird is injured and can't fly now. Chopper, stay here! I will go there and finish him"-Jon

"Alright"-Chopper

Jon go to the other side and take out a kunai and shuriken. Shura stand back and face Jon, he look even angrier than he ever be. But Jon think he look funny when angry with his thin mustache.

"How dare you injured Fuza, i'll really kill you"-Shura

"Huh? Nonono, you're the one that use it as a shield."-Jon

"MANTRA"-Shura

Shura attack Jon with his heat javelin, but his advantage of being on the air is gone. He's not that fast without his bird and his move is limited with his javelin. He's used to fight with his bird on the air and become weak on ground.

"You're slow, guess you only can fight with your bird, that's why you're angry to me huh? Even if you can hear my move, i can move faster than you, so it doesn't matter if you can predict it."-Jon

"SHUT UP"-Shura

"*Smirk* Altough you can hear my move, i can see your move too, and i am faster. Let's end this!"-Jon

Jon activate lightning mode and make a rasengan.

"Lightning? T-that's like God Enel's power"-Shura

"Sure it is, now go to hell"-Jon

Jon flashed toward Shura, but Shura has predicted this with his Mantra, so he thrust forward with his javelin. But with Jon's lightning mode, he reach Shura before he can move. Jon then catch Shura's right hand with his left hand, and hit Shura's chest with his rasengan on the right hand.

"Rasengan"-Jon

"GAAH"-Shura

Shura flung back and hit a tree behind him. His clothes on back and chest are torn from rasengan impact and he faint.

"His body is strong, he didn't die after receiving Rasengan with lightning mode speed. Well, it will be bad if he die, i can't get information. Luckily he's not strong without his bird "-Jon

Jon open Shura's eyes and use sharingan genjutsu to get information. He saw interrogate him and got a lot of information. Shura is a Priest, so he know a lot of things.

"So that's how it is huh?"-Jon

Suddenly the surrounding become brighter and Jon feel danger so flickered to the other side and stand in front of Chopper immediately.

"Jon, wha-"-Chopper

*BOOOMM*

A very big lightning strike the place where Jon stay earlier. It hit Shura and his bird Fuza. The lightning impact is very strong that the ground and trees in it's range start to break apart. Jon look at the lightning carefully and know it is from Enel.

'It's strong, maybe as strong as Sasuke's Kirin. It remind me of Sinbad's Bararaq Saika. Maybe if i see Enel use it i can replicate Bararaq series in the future'-Jon

After sometime the lightning gone and Jon look at Shura and Fuza, they're dead.

"W-w-what is that?"-Chopper

"It's Enel's attack, i don't know if it's targetting me or even Shura, maybe both of us"-Jon

"W-why would he attack his f-friend?"-Chopper

"Enel doesn't think of Shura as his friend Chopper. He is a pawn, and if he fail he will punish him."-Jon

"T-that's terrible"-Chopper

"Many people are like that Chopper, don't think much about it. As long as we don't become like that, then it's fine."-Jon

Jon and Chopper then bury Shura and his bird in the forest before they continue training. They have become stronger when facing death after war in Alabasta. Altough Chopper still need to train his mind so he will not be easily afraid to hit his enemy, but he is better now and will fight back. Jon always train Chopper to be braver when fighting, and it also help Jon himself when he need to kill enemy.

They continue their training while guarding the ship. Jon train Chopper using Gentle Fist from Hyuga clan. But instead of hitting tenketsu, he hit meridian and vital point. Chopper is a doctor, so he know many vital meridians point that will damage the opponent badly even if they didn't notice it. Gentle Fist is the best technique to use when targetting internal damage.

Jon didn't train Gentle Fist because it's not compatible with him after he tried it before. But teaching the principle to Chopper make him get some ideas to use some principles of the technique. But for now he will train his body and Chakra control first. He also sort the information he got from Shura before.

The sky had start to become darker, and the other also come back from their exploring. They make a camp near the river side and Jon place another space barrier again. They all start to discuss what they got today while eating.

"So? What did you got today?"-Jon

"Why are you the one asking us?"-Sanji

"Because Luffy will never ask for intelligence, and he won't ever think of gathering information at all. Also i have promote myself to be intelligence head chief of the crew."-Jon

"What? Promote yourself? You-"-Sanji

"Who's the one that always gather information and avoid many trouble for us?"-Jon

Sanji and Jon start bickering like always.

"STOP IT!"-Nami

One punch to stop like always.

"Alright, now let's exchange information"-Jon

"Hear me you guys, today we found a road made of cloud and there's this guy that have strange power."-Luffy

Luffy, Sanji, and Usopp then tell their day and how they met and fight a priest. They follow a road of cloud called milky way and entered an ordeal named 'Ordeal of Balls', which they entered because Luffy thinks it's fun. They fought a priest named Satori and he can read their movement like Shura.

It's hard for them because Satori can read their attack and his balls are confusing. But after some hardship, they can finally defeat the priest. He got defeated easily after one hit, their difficulty is just because Satori can read and avoid their move. Jon also told them what happen before.

"All the priests and Enel have this power to hear and predict their enemy's move. They call it 'Mantra'. Enel is the best Mantra user from what i got before. His mantra can cover the whole Skypiea. But luckily, my space seal seem to block his mantra. I saw Shura's mind and they seem surprised seeing us suddenly appear in Upper Yard.

This mantra can be trained, but i haven't found the training method because of Enel's attack. If you guys met or defeat a priest tomorrow, call me so i can get the training method."-Jon

"Tsk, we didn't met and fought anyone at all today"-Zoro

"But we found a truth about Upper Yard"-Robin

"What's that?"-Usopp

"Upper Yard is actually a part of Jaya in the past."-Robin

"WHAATT?!"-Other

"How can it come to the sky?"-Sanji

"The only possibility are knock up stream. All those ruins are about 400 years old. So maybe the gold city that Norland found is this Upper Yard. It move up because of knock up stream and stayed on the Sky Island. It happen after Norland left the island and before his kingdom come to investigate the city."-Robin

"Look, if the map of Jaya and Skypiea being put together, it will be like this"-Nami

"Oh, it looks like a skull"-Jon

"Then the gold city is.."-Sanji

"Here, at the right eye. This is an image of the city being build here."-Nami

"So that means Norland is not a liar"-Usopp

"Hahaha, we must tell diamond head old man about this"-Luffy

"Of course"-Usopp

"What are you thinking so hard like that Jon?"-Chopper

"It's how the knock up stream can push half of the island up, it's very strange. Normally, if something like knock up stream happen under an island, it will destroy the ground above it and not push a big chunk of the island. Unless.."-Jon

"Unless what?"-Nami

"Unless there's already crack under this part of island and when the knock up stream happen, the crack separated the Upper Yard with Jaya and push it up to the sky"-Robin

"That, or it can be that the knock up stream in the past is very big that it cover the entire upper yard and push it here. You guys also know that the location of knock up stream now is rather far from Jaya. So if the size is the same in the past, then it will not reach the island at all.

The power behind knock up stream that happen now also didn't enough to push half an island like this. Beside, i don't think knock up stream only happen 400 years ago. It must have happen even before that. 400 years ago, the scale is bigger than ever be and it cover half of Jaya and push it to the sky."-Jon

"That's possible"-Robin

Then Robin and Jon start to discuss about other possibilities while the other just eating.
