240 239. Chakra Experiment

After throwing away the pirate ship along with the pirates on it, Kurama switches back with Jon. Jon teleports back to Sunny using Flying Thunder God Jutsu. He is quite tired mentally now after doing experiment and watching Kurama played.

"What happened there, Jon?"- Robin asks.

"Kurama said he was bored so when I saw a pirate ship, he said he wanted to play. I switched place with him and he went there to play. It's a subordinate crew of Blackbeard Pirates, so I let Kurama did what he wants."- Jon explains.

"Why did Blackbeard's subordinate crew here?"- Sanji.

"Spying on us, what else? They were keeping their distance from us to avoid our detection. But they weren't far enough to avoid my eyes."- Jon.

"No, I mean why they spied on us?"- Sanji.

"Well, we are very famous now after doing so many things. We defeated Kaido, then WG & Marine, and lastly Big Mom. People start to say that we are the strongest crew in the world already and will surely be the next Pirate King crew. Our competitors surely won't like it, so they will try to overthrow us. Also, I have destroyed Blackbeard Pirates' groups on Mariejois when they tried to attack in the chaos of war."- Jon.

"They are also an Emperor crew, after all. Even though the 4 Emperor system has been messed by our feats so far. Watching each other's movement is usual among the Emperors."- Robin.

There are only 3 Emperors now, 'Red Hair' Shanks, 'Blackbeard' Teach, and 'Straw Hat' Luffy. Some other pirate Captains have been considered to be the 4th emperor, but none is strong enough to match these 3.

The strongest candidates are Kid & Law, but they haven't had any big feat except for defeating Beasts Pirates along with the Straw Hats. After that, they haven't defeated any big names to prove themselves worthy to be an Emperor.

Actually, the most qualified to be the 4th Emperor is Jon. He has been titled as an Emperor by many people too. But that becomes invalid because he is Luffy's crewmate. If he leads his own crew, then he will become the 4th Emperor.

Too bad that Jon isn't interested in forming his own crew, for now. He knows just how troublesome leading a crew is. If he wants, he will just be a lone wolf like Mihawk rather than forming a crew. He is strong enough to move alone, after all.

"Well, let's just continue what we do and ignore the small matters."- Jon.

"I don't think Blackbeard spying on us is a small matter. He is still an Emperor you know, an Em-pe-ror! Furthermore, he has 2 devil fruits."- Nami.

Jon has a frightened expression and says, "Oh no! Anyway, I'm tired, so I'm gonna sleep."

Jon leaves the angry Nami and goes to his room to sleep. He couldn't care less about that bastard Teach who doesn't even have full teeth. Teach might have 2 devil fruits but Jon technically also has multiple devil fruits because of his ninjutsu that can control a few elements.

Fire, water, wind, earth, lightning, plant, his eye power, and also Kurama make him feel like having 8 devil fruits at once. If he succeeds to combine the basic elements, then his power will also increase. Compared to that, the 2 devil fruits that Teach has are not worth mentioning.

Still, Jon knows that Teach is strong or he won't become an Emperor of The Sea. Yami Yami fruit's ability to cancel other devil fruit's ability won't work on Jon because his power doesn't come from devil fruit. So Gura Gura fruit is the only real threat for Jon.

"When I saw Teach on Mariejois, I could sense that he isn't at the level of Kaido & Big Mom yet. But I could feel something strange from him that I couldn't understand at all. My zetsu that infiltrates the Blackbeard Pirates as Burgess also doesn't get any good information about it. Sigh, whatever, I will fight them when the time comes."- Jon.

Jon sleeps immediately as he closes his eyes. He isn't tired physically but he's tired mentally after doing many things. He thought he would be more relaxed after thet defeat 2 Emperors but he actually becomes busier.

Now with all big achievements that they've made, they are without a doubt one of the strongest pirate crews in the world. Many people will admire them but many will also hate them and aim for their heads.

As one of the strongest crews, the ones who will come for their heads will also be strong. The easiest example is Blackbeard Pirates, an Emperor crew. Jon might have destroyed many of their forces on Mariejois but with their fame, rebuilding those forces won't take a long time.

To prepare for confrontation against strong foes like them, the Straw Hats need to get stronger. Of course, it includes Jon who is one of the main pillars in the crew's strength. He needs to get stronger so that they can face more hardships that will come to them.

The next day, Jon resumes his experiments to combine wind & water chakra. No one disturbs him and they don't even tell him to eat. He won't listen anyway so it will just be a waste if time telling him something when he is concentrating on his training.

Before Jon realizes it, the night has come and he is very hungry. So he eats the left-over food that Sanji has prepared. He's glad that Luffy doesn't steal it or he won't eat anything tonight.

'Kid, you are focusing too much on creating the ice element. You should have just focused on becoming the 6 Path Sage.'- Kurama.

'I know, but I have a problem with that. To be a 6 Path Sage, I need to purify my chakra to the highest purity, right? I don't have any problem with the purification because I can do it easily now with my high mastery over nature chakra. The problem is the quantity of my chakra after purification is low.'- Jon.

After purifying his chakra using nature chakra, Jon lost around 70% of his original chakra reserve. Well, it's not really a loss considering his jutsus become stronger with lower amount of chakra now because of its high purity.

But to be a strong 6 Path Sage, Jon need to have a lot of chakra. Hagoromo has the chakra of the 10-Tailed Beast as a 6 Path Sage. To be a true 6 Path Sage, Jon needs to have at least the total of all 9-Tailed Beasts.

'Even if I can't reach it, I need to have at least your level of chakra reserve.'- Jon.

'Hmm, it will surely become difficult for a human to have the same amount of chakra as 10 Tails. You can reach my level of chakra in a few years because you almost reached it before. But the 10 Tails' chakra is a different matter.'- Kurama.

'Yeah, that's why I try to increase my reserve using the basic method. I deplete my chakra then recover it to expand it. By doing experiments to combine 2 elements, I can deplete my chakra faster while also gaining other result.'- Jon.

'Ho, killing 2 birds with a stone, huh? Well, if you keep doing this everyday, then you can reach your goal in a few years. Your chakra regeneration has become very fast since you purified them all, so your progress will be fast too.'- Kurama.

'You are right, it sure is fast compared to before I purified my chakra. I feel like I can get the same amount of chakra that I accumulated for 2 years in a year or less now but with higher quality.'- Jon.

'Well, just don't exert yourself or you'll die. I don't know what will happen to me if you die so be careful.'- Kurama.

'Yes, yes.'- Jon.

Jon goes to sleep again and continue his experiments in the next days.
