237 236. Jutsu Research

The Straw Hats leave Elbaf and go to Pasar Island to buy the Eternal Pose to Red Hair Pirates' base. It takes them a week to reach Pasar Island because the weather keeps changing. One day they are very fast, but the next they are very slow because of the weather.

After reaching Pasar Island, they immediately meet with Cavendish. He has searched the Eternal Pose for them so they just need to take it. They also take supplies to fill their ship that almost get emptied.

"Cabbage, is there any problem here?"- Luffy.

"Problem always happens everywhere, but there's no problem that I can't handle"- Cavendish says it while posing.

"Do you need to do that everytime you talk?"- Jon sweatdrops.

"Well, this is me,"- Cavendish.

Jon sighs and then leaves the room. He has something to do before they go to Red Hairs' base. Jane follows him because she knows what he wants to do even without him telling her. She has been in Jon's mind for a long time, so she undertands him the most in this world.

They go to a weaponsmith to maintain Jon's weapons. Well, they are just kunais, shurikens, & senbons but there are a lot of them. Jon always picked up his throw weapons because they can be used again.

Some are still in good conditions, but a lot of them have been damaged. So he needs to repair them to make them strong & sharp again. If thet can't be repaired, then they can be melted and casted again.

But still, not every throw weapon can be picked again. There are many that were lost and couldn't be found. So Jon needs to make some new ones because now he can't use the system that has become Jane to buy things.

Jon & Jane go to some other weaponsmiths and order many throw weapons. They can't order it at one person because it won't finish fast. By ordering at some people, they can split the order into smaller number and they'll finish fast.

After that, Jon & Jane go around the town. They buy some more things, mainly Jane's needs. She still has many things that she needs to buy after she became a human. Women has many things they need, after all.

"Are these all really for me?"- Jane.

"Most of them are for you while some are for Vivi. Do you need more things?"- Jon.

"From what Nami & Robin said, I still need a few more things for make-up. I have listed them so we just need to find them."- Jane.

"Alright, let's buy them all. I don't know anything about women's necessities, so you need to ask Nami & Robin about it."- Jon.

"Yes."- Jane.

The 2 of them then go around the town again to buy what Jane needs. Jon thought that a few is a few, but it's actually a lot. He knows that Nami & Robin must've told her that it's a few, so she also thinks that such number is a few.

'These women really need to know the meaning of a few.'- thinks Jon.

It takes some time for them to finish shopping in the town. They return to meet with their crewmates who are resting in the Mayor's mansion. On their way there, they see Sanji who is flirting with some women.

Both Jon & Jane are surprised to see the women accept Sanji's advance. Usually, women will freak out at his forceful advance and run away. But then they realize Sanji's high bounty might be the reason why the women accept him.

"They must've thought that he has a lot of money."- Jon has an expression of pity.

"He has a lot actually."- Jane says while pointing at Sanji's thick pocket.

"Yeah, money for grocery. Nami will kill him if he uses the money to buy food supplies for these women."- Jon.

"Should we warn him?"- Jane.

"My sister, we can't save a dead person no matter what we do. It's a very sad thing that we'll lose a precious crewmate, but there's nothinf we can do. Let's go back, we have a funeral to prepare."- Jon has a sad expression, a fake one, of course.

He wants to laugh now when he imagines Sanji getting beaten up by Nami. He wants to have the front seat for that show, so he returns quickly. Jane just sighs and follows her brother returns, ignoring Sanji.

When the 2 arrive in the mansion, there aren't many people. They just see the sleeping Zoro, the busy Usopp, and the relaxed Chopper. Nami is also in the mansion but she is drawing maps in a room.

"Where's everyone else?"- Jon asks Chopper.

"They go around the town like you."- Chopper.

"I hope Luffy doesn't create problems."- Jon.

"Don't worry, Jinbe is with him."- Usopp.

"As if he can stop Luffy. Sigh, whatever, this is our territory, so he can make any problem he wants."- Jon.

Jon then take a rest while researching a new jutsu by using some known jutsus. Creating new jutsus is always fun because he can make it based on his preference. He also makes his new jutsus to match his style, so they will be better than other jutsus for him.

Another reason why he wants to make his own jutsus is because being able to make jutsus is cool. Also, he has learned a lot of jutsu and they are enough. So he has a lot of free time to spare and he uses it to make jutsus to stay productive.

"So different combination of water & earth chakra creates different type of wood. Even the same proportion with different amount creates different results too. It can even create mud instead of wood. Hmm, it makes me think if I can combine other elements. I never tried it because I always think that I can only combine water & earth to create wood. But different from Hashirama, the 5 basic elements that I have are innate. Jane has told me that they are my innate elements because they were rewards from my missions. Alright, let's try it."- Jon.

Jon leaves the mansion and goes to an empty coast. Here, he won't need to worry about destroying anything if his experiment fails and causes a big damage. He can protect himself, but protecting others is difficult.

His first experiment is combining fire & lightning, which are his first elements. He starts with 50:50 proportions using a little amount of chakra. For this first try, he doesn't use any hand seals and just rely on his high chakra control.

*BANG*

A small explosion happens because this first experiment fails. Jon gets some small wounds, but they heal at visible rate. His healing ability keeps improving that it's scary. He might be able to regrow an organ, but he doesn't want to try it. Knowing he can regrow his cut hair & nails is enough for him.

"Sigh, this won't be easy."- Jon says before starting his experiment again.

Hi guys, I'm really sorry for not updating after so long. I was selling my phone & laptop to pay my college tuition so I could graduate so I couldn't continue thie story. Covid was hitting my family's economy so hard so I needed to sell my phone & laptop to finish my college. I needed to borrow my friends' laptop to finish my thesis.

I finally managed to buy a cheap phone and I really want to write again. I want to write another fanfic but I still haven't finished this story and it really bother me. So I finish this story first before writing a new one.

I hope you can enjoy this story, but some things are different from One Piece's current developments because I already have a plot since I started this series. Though there are some changes that I made based on the current development too, so I hope it's good enough.
