236 235. Most Rewarding Day

The war with Big Mom pirates have come to an end. The Straw Hats & Giants have gained victory even after such a hard war. Miraculously, they didn't have any casualties because of Jon's help.

Big Mom pirates immediately leave the island with their remaining crew members. They bring their mother's corpse back for funeral. The Straw Hats & Giants let them leave and didn't do anything again.

Then after the long war, everyone go back to the village & castle. Chopper, Gerd, & some other doctors treat the injured ones. Jon try to heal them with his medical jutsu, but he just either stop the bleeding or closing the wounds. They still need real medical treatment from doctor.

It's already night now, so everyone immediately fall asleep after a long war. They are very hungry now, but they're too tired to care about that and fall asleep. Beside, they're still in fasting period, and only can eat tomorrow. Even Jon also feel tired and fall asleep with the others.

They wake up the next morning, and the non fighter Giants have prepare the Semlas. It's the Winter Solstice Festival Day, and they're allowed to eat again. The smell of food wake the warriors & Straw Hats up. They all immediately go out to see a lot of Semlas and other meals.

Among the Straw Hats, Sanji & Jon aren't seen at all. They've woke up early and do their own thing. Sanji help the cooking for foods, while Jon just take a shower. Then to pass time, Jon also help the cooking & meal preparation.

Then everyone sit on the chairs around the table. The Straw Hats also sit and look at the food hungrily. However, they can't take anything until the elders make some speech like when they started it.

"Ehem, we have finished our fasting trial for 12 days. We know there is a big trouble that came to us yesterday. All of that is trial, and we've proved that we can face it."-Jarul

*bla bla bla bla*

Jarul keep talking passionately about the war and their gratitude to Straw Hats. The Straw Hats accept the gratitude, but they just want to eat now. They start to get impatient because the other Giants also want to have some speech about them.

"GAAAHH, THIS WILL TAKE FOREVER. YOU GUYS WANT TO SHOW YOUR GRATITUDE RIGHT?"-Luffy stand & slam the table

"Y-yeah."-Jarul flinch

"THEN, LET'S JUST EAT! IT'S A PARTY NOW!"-Luffy raise his mug

""YEAAAHHH!""-Almost everybody on younger generation

They all cheers and start to eat and drink happily. Jarul & the other elders blink their eyes many times.

"T-this is..."-Jarul

"You're talking for too long, and these kids are getting impatient. They jusy want to eat, so you shouldn't talk for that long."-Karl

"Y-you're right, it seem i've gotten too old."-Jarul

"Me too, i forget that they're pirates, and we were pirates too. We should've known older people's speech will bore them youngster."-Olaf

"Sigh, let's enjoy this, maybe we'll feel how to be young again."-Jarul

They have a big party in the village and get very loud. Soon, the Giants from the castle including the King & Prince come with their foods & drinks too. The whole Elbaf are now partying together in this place with the Straw Hats.

Brook's music performance really make the party a lot more livelier. Some Elbaf musicians also play some musics with Brook. Everyone is happy and this really look like a festival now.

Everyone eat, drink, sing, dance, and laugh to their heart content. They feel like this party is really rewarding, the most rewarding party that they've ever had. This is really like finding a happiness after suffering.

Of course they'll feel like that now. They've fast for 12 days without any food or drink. Then at the 12th day, they got attacked by an Emperor crew. They're at the very bottom of their power, but they've passed through it and won. Even for the long lived Giants, this festival is the most rewarding one in their life.

They have party in festival for hours with no intention to stop. They just keep going and enjoy this festival. But Jon see someone is on the side not enjoying the festival, so he approach the figure, Prince Loki.

"You don't like festival like this?"-Jon

"N-no, i like it. It's very different from what we have every year, and this is more exciting."-Loki

"Then why did you just stay here like a sadboy?"-Jon

"I- i just feel bad to you guys."-Loki

"You feel bad to us?"-Jon

"Yeah, i acted cold everytime i met you guys because you're human pirates. I don't like human pirates since what happen between me & Lola. I thought all of you human pirates are the same, you don't know honor, but it seem i'm wrong."-Loki

"That's it? I thought it was something serious."-Jon raise an eyebrow

"But that's a serious thing. Because yesterday you guys helped us a lot, and i feel guilty for what i did."-Loki

"If you feel guilty, then apologize. We're not petty people that won't forgive someone who apologize. Beside, your thinking about pirates are normal. That's not really something that will make us hate you. We've met people that did something way worse to us than you, way way worse."-Jon

"Apologize, huh?"-Loki

"Yeah, do it when you're ready! Admitting mistake and apologize for it, is also a warrior's way right? A warrior never embarassed to admit his mistake and apologize."-Jon walk away

Jon leave Loki by himself and join the party again.

'Heeh, that guy is not as bad as i thought. He just need something to change him to be better.'-Jon

Loki finally muster up his courage and apologize to the Straw Hats for his past behaviour. The Straw Hats didn't think much and forgive him easily. However, this thing surprised the Giants, especially those who know Loki really well.

"H-he apologize willingly on his own? That selfish & prideful kid is actually apologizing on his own?"-Odin

"This is a miracle."-Jarul

Odin, Jarul and those who know Loki widen their eyes. They know Loki is so self-centered and never want to admit his mistake. He also put pride in everything he did and won't lower his head for other people, except his father. So seeing him like this is like a miracle.

"I don't know what happened to him, but i hope it change him to be better."-Odin

"Yeah, let's hope so."-Jarul

The festival keep going with everyone enjoying it to their heart content. It keep going until night even though it start at the morning. That's just how much they like the festival today.

"Hey Odin, i want to ask you something."-Jon

Jon & Robin talk with Odin while drinking some booze.

"What is it?"-Odin

"From my investigation of the stolen poneglyph, i found an interesting fact. That poneglyph, didn't seem to be originated from here."-Jon

"!? You can even know that?"-Odin

"Yeah, i ask some giants under you after all."-Jon

"Well, it's not really a secret, so i'll tell you about it. Whitebeard gave it to us around 22/23 years ago. He said he took it from Fishman Island after Roger asked him to took that poneglyph into safety. However, Whitebeard didn't want to be bothered by it every time, so he gave it to us to keep."-Odin

"Fishman Island? Damn, Neptune never said anything about this."-Jon

"When the poneglyph get stolen, we were panicked. We have promised to keep it safe, but we let someone steal it. Then we called Marco, and he told us to not worry about it. He said that someone will eventually came and take that poneglyph back."-Odin

"Sigh, Marco is too reliant on us."-Jon

"Why're you so sure that it's us?"-Robin

"Who else? Marco have put all his hope in Luffy as Ace's brother. That pinneaple head is set on that after all."-Jon

The festival finished at midnight, and everyone sleep to rest. They can finally sleep with their stomach filled now. They feel very satisfied and sleep soundly because they're not hungry anymore.

The Straw Hats then decide to stay on Elbaf for a few days. They need to heal their injuries first before leaving. They might've had a war again after this, so they need to prepare themselves to be in their best condition.

"Luffy, we can't keep going to another island just to have another big war again."-Robin

"That's right, we need to rest, not just physically, but also mentally. Furthermore, our next opponent will be another Emperor crew. They have a very high number under them. If we just go alone, it is the same as suicide."-Jon

"Then what should we do? We just need 1 poneglyph again."-Luffy

"We'll need our allies to help us. The Straw Hat Grand Fleet is the best choice. But they also need preparation, so let's give them time to do it."-Jon

"What about Tra-guy & Jaggy?"-Luffy

"You know that they're also aiming to be the Pirate King right? Beside, our alliance have finished after defeating Kaido. Even so, they join us in the World War, but then they really want to go on separate ways."-Nami

"Hmm, then, let's go to Shanks' place before we take the poneglyph. I have a promise with him that i will do when i become a great pirate. I think this is the time."-Luffy

"Ooh, that promise where you'll return the Straw Hat right?"-Sanji

"Yeah."-Luffy

"Then, i'll finally meet my dad too. I need to prepare myself and surprise him with my power. I will show him that i've become a brave warrior."-Usopp

"Returning the Straw Hat, huh?"-Luffy get melancholic

"WAIT! If you return the Straw Hats, then will we still be Straw Hat pirates?"-Jon

""..... Ah!""-All

They all have a realization and think about it. They're surprised on how they didn't realize it earlier. Now they all have dark & grim expression.

"He's right, what will happen to our crew's name without Luffy's Straw Hat?"-Nami

"Will it be Luffy Pirates? Like how Roger use his name for his crew name, we can use Luffy's name."-Franky

"How about Usopp Pirates?"-Usopp

"Ooh, then i want to be Chopper pirates."-Chopper

"Don't use your name when you're not the captain!"-Zoro

""I'm sorry.""-Usopp & Chopper

"How if we buy a new Straw Hat for Luffy?"-Jinbe

"I think that's the only way."-Nami

They finish their discussion about the Straw Hat. They find a solution now, but it will still decided by Luffy after they meet Shanks. No matter the name of their crew, they're still the same crew nevertheless.

The Straw Hats rest on Elbaf for 3 more days. Jon keep meditating every night and train his body at day. He can train hard like usual again because he have healed completely.

Jon have healed just in one night after the war. Well, with his physical abilities & genetic, it will be more strange if he doesn't get healed that fast. Too bad he can't heal his friends that fast and only reduce the healing time.

The other Straw Hats also didn't just sleep in their room. They use their time to learn or make what they can. The most enthusiastic is Usopp who go around Elbaf to learn about warrior way. He really want to show his dad that he has become a great man.

Then after 3 days, the Straw Hats finally will leave Elbaf. They bid farewell with the Giants and go to their ship. They'll go to Pasar Island first where they'll buy the Eternal Pose to Red Hair Pirates' base island.

"Hajruddin, prepare your crew if you want to join the next war. This enemy might be the most troublesome one that we'll ever fight."-Jon

"Understood, we will prepare ourselves for the incoming big war."-Hajruddin

"Good, keep coordinating with the others!"-Jon

After finishing all their matter there, the Straw Hats sail away and leave Elbaf.
