Chapter Twenty three

The wedding finally came to an end, while the guests ate and drank at their tables. They all chatted in different tones as soft music played in the background.

Those who knew the couples came to their table to greet and congratulate them, and Grace introduced her family to the couple.

"Caitlin my dear!" she said with a broad smile as they both hugged warmly.

"I'm so happy for you. You look absolutely stunning!" she added as they released each other.

"Thank you so much Mrs Grace. I can't thank you enough for everything you've done for me. I'm greatly indebted to you." Caitlin said with a smile.

"No you're not, dear. You don't owe me anything. I'm so glad to be a part of this occasion. By the way, I brought my family with me and they're so excited to meet you and Kane!"

Just then, a middle aged man and a young girl came from behind her.

"Kane, Caitlin, this is my husband Pierce. Pierce dear, this is Caitlin. She's like a daughter to me." Grace said with a proud smile.
