20 Chapter Nineteen

After three long weeks of lying in the hospital, Kane was discharged and he was so glad to finally leave. How much he despised staying in hospitals. He stood topless beside the bed, putting on a shirt when Darian came in.

"Miss Caitlin and Sultan are here sir." he said and Kane was excited.

"Daddy!" Sultan squealed as he rushed to hug him and he carried him up in his arms.

When Caitlin saw him on his feet again, she couldn't help but blush heavily. He was such a tall man with incredibly broad shoulders and such heart melting handsomeness. She didn't understand why she suddenly felt this way around him, and her heart wouldn't stop pounding so loudly whenever she saw him.

"Caitlin…." he suddenly called, waking her from her daydream.

"How are you?" he asked softly and she beamed.

"I'm…fine." she said as her cheeks flushed. Kane smiled and held her chin. Her heart skipped a beat.
