#### Episode 1: Shadows Awaken

**Scene 1: The Ordinary World**

*EXT. MODERN CITY - DAY*

A busy city hums with life. Teenagers bustle about, laughing and chatting as they head to school. Among them is ARTEMIS LUNAR, a sixteen-year-old with an air of quiet intensity. Artemis wears a hoodie and earbuds, lost in thought as he walks down the sidewalk.

*INT. HIGH SCHOOL - CLASSROOM - DAY*

Artemis sits at the back of the classroom, doodling abstract shapes and shadows in a notebook. The TEACHER drones on about history, but Artemis's mind is elsewhere.

*TEACHER*: "And that concludes our lesson on ancient civilizations. Remember, your essays are due next Monday."

The bell rings. Students scramble to leave, but Artemis takes his time, still lost in the doodle of a shadowy creature.

**Scene 2: The Incident**

*EXT. ABANDONED WAREHOUSE - AFTERNOON*

After school, Artemis heads to an old, abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. It's his secret refuge. Inside, the air is cool and filled with shadows. Artemis explores the space, finding comfort in its silence.

Suddenly, a glint catches Artemis's eye. Hidden among the debris is an ancient, ornate mirror, covered in strange symbols. Drawn to it, Artemis brushes off the dust and looks into the mirror. The reflection shimmers and shifts, showing not Artemis's face but a dark, shadowy landscape.

*VOICE FROM MIRROR*: "Help us... the balance is breaking..."

Artemis staggers back, the voice echoing in his mind. The mirror glows, pulling Artemis toward it. He tries to resist, but the force is too strong.

**Scene 3: The Shadowlands**

*EXT. SHADOWLANDS - FOREST - NIGHT*

Artemis crashes through the mirror and into a dark, mystical forest. Shadows dance around him, and the air hums with unfamiliar energy. Disoriented, Artemis stumbles through the forest, hearing whispers and feeling eyes watching him.

*SHADOWY FIGURE*: "You should not be here, outsider."

A figure emerges from the shadows – KAI, a member of the Shadow Blades clan. Dressed in dark, flowing garments and armed with a gleaming sword, Kai eyes Artemis warily.

*ARTEMIS*: "Where am I? What is this place?"

*KAI*: "You are in the Shadowlands, a realm far from your own. How did you cross the barrier?"

Before Artemis can answer, they hear a distant roar. The ground trembles. Kai's expression shifts to urgency.

*KAI*: "No time for explanations. Follow me if you want to survive."

**Scene 4: The Encounter**

*EXT. SHADOWLANDS - CLEARING - NIGHT*

Kai leads Artemis to a clearing where several other warriors stand ready, shadows swirling around their hands. A monstrous shadow creature bursts through the trees, roaring with rage.

*KAI*: "Stay back and watch. This is no place for an untrained outsider."

Kai and the warriors engage the creature, their movements fluid and precise. Shadows leap from their hands, forming weapons and shields. Artemis watches in awe, feeling a strange connection to the energy they're witnessing.

**Scene 5: Awakening the Power**

*EXT. SHADOWLANDS - CLEARING - NIGHT*

As the battle intensifies, the creature lunges toward Artemis. Instinctively, Artemis raises a hand, and shadows leap to his defense, forming a barrier that repels the beast. The warriors, including Kai, look at Artemis with shock and curiosity.

*KAI*: "You... you have the power of the shadows. But how?"

*WARRIOR*: "Perhaps the prophecy...?"

Kai silences the warrior with a look and turns back to Artemis.

*KAI*: "We need to get you to the Council. There are questions that need answering."

**Scene 6: The Journey Begins**

*EXT. SHADOWLANDS - PATH TO THE COUNCIL - NIGHT*

As they walk, Artemis bombards Kai with questions about the Shadowlands, his powers, and the strange connection he feels to this world. Kai answers some but remains guarded about others.

*ARTEMIS*: "Why do I have these powers? What's happening to me?"

*KAI*: "There are ancient prophecies about a bridge between worlds, someone who would come to restore balance. You may be that person, but only the Council can say for sure."

They reach the edge of a vast, shadowy city – the heart of the Shadowlands. Towers of dark stone rise against the night sky, and the streets buzz with the energy of shadow magic.

*KAI*: "Welcome to the City of Shadows. Your journey is just beginning."
