Kay's leg tapped the floor as he ran his sweaty repeatedly as he ran his sweaty hands over each other. It was his first time being before the principal for doing a bad thing.

For abtimid do hooder like him, it was hell.

"So you mean to say that those boys were bullying you?" The bald principal with the beards of a leprechaun asked and recieved a times nod in response. "And you stepped in to defend him and got this badly beaten up to the point where most most of your ribs and arms were broken?"

Sasha who had her face and hands bandaged nodded with a loud grunt.

Kay quietly kept his head down, avoiding any form of eye contact. "Um, I, um-- I. I was the one that beat them all up to pro-- protect her. And-- um, I, it was me that trashed the class."

Sasha glanced at him with contempt. "Look at four eyes trying to be the hero." She thought.

The principal folded his hands and stared at them wide-eyed with his never changing frown and arched eyebrow.

"You expect me to believe that you a boy who cand even do a single push up pummeled seven built boys like you were superman and destroyed so much school property, cracked a wall like you were a crazy samurai? How stupid do you think I am?"

"Very!" Sasha his hee gesture amidst abfir of fake coughs.

The principal shook his head. "Leave my office and wait in the hall, your guardians will be here very soon. And this matter sorted tomorrow."

They both complied and left the principal's office with Kay apologizing repeatedly.

"Why did you take all the blame back then?" Sasha said in disgust as she held her cast supporting her broken arm as they sat the far ends of the long bench. "Trying to sound all manly or something?"

Kay responded timidly while hiding his face. "Sorry but I thought if I said that I would receive all the punishment and not you."

Sasha was left speechless by his innocent response that she looked at him. Seeing him from that angle and he looked cute. "Hey quit making me feel like the bad guy here, you stole my first kiss so you are going to pay."

"So-- sorry", he apologize in a feeble manner. "I'm sorry."

Sasha felt her face flush with embarrassment. "How am I supposed stayad at you when you keep apologizing? Such a wimp!" She hopped to her feet and started to walk away.

"Um, huh. You're leaving!" Kay sounded pained and disappointed.

Sasha groaned loudly and turned to face him, there was an odd energy sparking between them like a connection. "What now?! My uncle is never going to set his perverted foot in this school so I'd rather he heading home now. Ciao!" She waved and turned to leave.

"Ok, bye. And sorry for, um-huh, you know, the kiss. I still don't know how it happened. Buh- bye!" He said with the look of a post puppy and a disheartened voice.

But something within him could not just let her leave. She was the only one in school who had held the longest conversation with him.

"Wait!" He screamed too forcefully as he rose to his feet. "Um, uh, can I escort you home. You know your arm is hurt and that's sort of my fault, I think. And I-- um..."

She rolled her eyes at him.

"Give it a rest four eyes, that's perverted in all sorts of ways. Besides shouldn't you be figuring out what you'll tell your dad when he lands?"

Kay dropoed his head again. "Um, I would but my parents are no more. I live with my uncle who's a drunk. I don't think he's coming either."

"Does that mean he was waiting for me all along?" She thought.

Sasha's gaze lightened and her tone softened. "Curses! You can escirt me if you want but don't get all mopey or close."

Kay jumped for joy. "Oh! Thank you! Um, sorry!" He ran up to meet her.

Sasha kicked him on the thigh, "Quit apologizing already."

Kay dropoed his head again. "Um, sorry."

"There, you did it again!" She hissed.

Kay felt even more remorseful. "Sorry!"

Sasha rolled her eyes. "Now you are paying for my t-fare."

"Oh! Sorry!"

"Now you're carrying my bag!"

"So--" he swallowed the rest of his words. It would be his first time going home not by himself. It had him thrilled. "--rry!" He could not help himself but finish his words.

Sasha looked at him and parted her lips to speak but closed it and just glanced away. "?"
