40 Chapter 38

(Yo guys, just want to inform you about the AU world. First off, the events of the incredible hulk were before Iron man and there will be some little changes in the future as well. As for the mutants in this world, they are rare. There's still the x men and The professor's mutant's school. The events of Apocalypse were originally in the 80s but in this world, it will be Years later. That's all, now enjoy.)

3rd POV'

Harlem, New York, USA.

On the streets of Harlem, It was generally peaceful, there were some crimes here and there but generally, it was a normal night. No one would have thought that a monster more than 2 meters would appear out of nowhere, to break the peaceful atmosphere and start rampaging around, killing civilians and destroying everything on his way. The monster was huge and ugly looking like he came out fresh from an Rpg video game. If he was rated at those games he would be either a side boss or a final boss. Minutes after he started rampaging, the Military Showed up under the command of General Ross to try and keep the losses at a minimum and save the day using tanks, Apache helicopters, and every weapon they possessed.

But unsurprisingly, their efforts were futile as the 'abomination' simply slapped their efforts away, destroying every tank and helicopter he got his hands on and squashing every soldier on his way.

~~On the general's helicopter~~

"... Oh lord, our weapons are completely ineffective against him. We haven't done any damages to him at all." Said general Ross in a grim voice. They have been trying to stop him for a while now, but all their efforts only made him angrier resulting in more destruction.

"Sir, Our soldiers are dying there like ants. What are your orders?" A soldier beside him asked.

" ... Order their retreat. We will request backup from the base." replied Ross fully knowing that even if the backup arrived they would be too late and even if they arrived, there's no guarantee that they could stop him.

"I have To stop him! Ross, you know that he's after me and my 'other self' is the only one who could fight him." Said Dr.Banner in a pleading voice while looking straight at the general's eyes.

"Can you even control 'him'?" Asked Ross not losing eye contact with him.

"Control? No, of course I can't. But I have to try." replied Bruce with clear determination. Then added: "Just open the back door." Not minding the protesting Betty.

Just before Ross pressed the button to open the back door he heard the soldier yell: "We have a situation, sir, a new monster appeared." Hearing him made them look at him with disbelief.

"What?! What nonsense are you speaking, soldier?" Saying that Ross headed to the screen to find his answer. What he saw made him open his eyes wide open.

~~Scene change~~

The abomination is pretty pissed, not only because of the annoying weapons of the bugs but also because he couldn't find who's he looking for: "Hulk!!!" with a mighty roar he Yelled. Observing his surroundings, all that is around him is destroyed with several dead bodies on the ground. Suddenly he saw something unusual. He saw one of the pillars' shadows expanding and kept expanding till it became a circle with a radius of 2.5 meters, And from the shadow, a figure started to emerge revealing a humanoid looking man wearing an armor with a purple glowing flame on his skin and holding a huge battle axe.

The armored man looked at him with a clear battle intense.

"You're here to fight me?" He asked with his monster-like voice, what responded to him is a nod with a mighty roar clearly showing his intentions.

"Although you're not the one I'm looking for, I don't mind kicking some extra butt." His opponent simply smiled and made his axe disappear which resulted in the abomination's irritation "Are you looking down on me? You dare?!" Saying that he charged at his opponent with clear killing intent and his opponent also did the same, and with that, the battle of titans started.

Abomination immediately sent a punch heading straight to Iron's stomach not caring about defense which would be considered a rookie mistake especially to a trained soldier like him, clearly underestimating his opponent. Iron didn't dodge the punch and let it be then threw his own punch aiming for the head. The result was a huge shock wave that sent Emil's body flying and Iron taking a step back with no visible injury, and even if there was one, he would've simply regenerated but his opponent doesn't know that.

The bystanders were stunned at this sudden devolvement, never would they have thought the unstoppable monster wasn't as unstoppable as they thought. " ROAR!!!!" Abomination roared on top of his lungs from anger, he was ashamed of his mistake and feeling irritated. So to get his revenge he headed to tackle him with all his strength to the ground, smashing his face to death. Iron seeing his intentions simply grabbed hold of him and threw him to the ground and without missing a beat he tackled and started punching him to the face repeatedly without mercy. Minutes later, the already ugly face of Emil became unrecognizable and completely covered in blood, Iron simply beat him unconscious. After finishing his monarch's order he was about to go back to the shadows but he heard behind him: "Freeze!!"

General Ross's POV

'Unbelievable, Simply unbelievable. Blonsky was defeated, not destroyed, he was completely destroyed, by an unknown monster/man who we don't have any information about. I have to capture him for interrogation!' I thought to myself not noticing the greed clouding my decisions. Ordering the helicopter down and arriving at a safe distance from the monsters while my men's weapons were aiming at them, I grabbed the microphone and yelled, not noticing the escaping Banner: "Freeze, Put your hands in the air and kneel to the ground. I am here representing the US government, think carefully about your actions as if you choose not to be corporate then you are not only against us but the US government too."

3rd POV'

"Sir? Is it truly wise to do this? Plus he was the one who stopped the monster." A hesitated soldier asked only to hear the yelling: "He's a threat to the country too, soldier. And who gave you permission to question me?"Just after saying that he noticed the glowing eyes of Iron.

Iron is pissed at being ordered by an ant to kneel to someone other than his monarch. He was ready to start a massacre but he heard a voice of his liege: "Iron, Return. He will get what's coming for him soon enough." Hearing that he simply ignored the bug's yelling and disappeared to the shadows.
