40 Cobra's Death

In the room, Mia carried Yao`er and covered her ears, curling up in a corner with Bai Wei.

"Xu Mo," said Mia as she looked outside, feeling a little worried.

"Miss Mia, I'm fine." Xu Mo returned to his room and put on his battle armor. He then pushed open the door and said to Miss Mia and Bai Wei, "Everything will be fine."

Looking at the fully armed Xu Mo, Mia was clearly stunned for a moment. Bai Wei also looked like she didn't know the person in front of her.

"Elder Brother, Yao`er is scared," Yao`er said softly.

Old Mister Batu stood behind Xu Mo and watched him walk past.

Old Mister Batu sighed when he saw Mia's gaze. His daughter had grown up.

"Father," Mia called out, and Old Mister Batu said, "Don't worry."

Old Mister Batu was already walking over toward Cobra.

"Batu." Cobra knew Old Mister Batu as the latter would occasionally visit the gambling den too. Upon looking at his fat figure, Cobra's eyes revealed a cold gleam. He then walked forward and slashed down his right mechanical blade. It was as though he could already see his mechanical blade slashing through all the fatty flesh.

However, Old Mister Batu only raised his right hand, and Cobra's arm slashed onto his palm.

Old Mister Batu then grabbed the blade with his palm, holding onto it with a grip as firm as steel.

Cobra was stunned. In the midst of slashing out his other blade, before he could recover from the surprise, he was already lifted into the air. Old Mister Batu grabbed him by the blade and then threw him fiercely onto the ground.

Bang! A huge sound rang out from the ground as though there was an earthquake. The tremor caused Xu Mo's heart to shake a little.

"Bring Mia back to her room," Batu said to Xu Mo.

"Alright." Xu Mo was astonished at Old Mister Batu's battle prowess. Had he still underestimated Old Mister Batu?

What was going to take place next might not be suitable for Mia's eyes. Hence, he turned and said to Mia, "Miss Mia, let's go up."

"Ahh..." Mia looked out, having not come back to her senses. Seeing this, Xu Mo took her hand directly and brought her upstairs, while his perception was still keeping an eye on the situation outside. Old Mister Batu slowly walked toward Cobra.

Cobra got up and stared at Old Mister Batu, his gaze extremely grim.

"Genetic warrior!" Old Mister Batu wasn't a modified human nor a pure surpasser that cultivated origin energy. He was a genetic warrior. 

Upon seeing Old Mister Batu getting closer, Cobra's body jumped and he slashed both of his blades downward, aiming for Old Mister Batu's neck. He wanted to behead Batu.

Clank! The long and narrow mechanical blades landed on their target, but Old Mister Batu's neck wasn't chopped off. Old Mister Batu then reached out and grabbed onto Cobra's arms. As a result, a kacha sound rang out, and the mechanical arms shattered into pieces. 

At this moment, Old Mister Batu's right hand lifted Cobra's body and repeatedly smashed him toward the ground.

Bang, bang, bang! Many horrifying sounds reverberated in the dark night. Cobra's body had become deformed. His mechanical body shattered, and his head was tilted to the side in his helmet. 

After that, Old Mister Batu dragged Cobra's body and headed back. He also dragged the other bodies that Xu Mo had killed earlier and threw them into a pile. Dragging five corpses with his two gigantic palms, he walked into the far distance and mumbled to himself, "We'll have to move house again!"

Xu Mo had already sent Mia back to her room. When he heard Old Mister Batu's soft mumbling, he was speechless.
