1 The End

"There were once four siblings born of the essence of God himself. The four siblings or angels as the humans call them descended to Midgard. They journeyed across the face of Midgard spreading the wealth and joy of heaven amongst the peoples of the land. In the days of their journey, God was pleased with humanity. They lived and followed Their law with fear and respect.

In these days there was one amongst the angels whose name is now erased from history and is now simply known as the Asura. The Asura was born long before its siblings and had known God and humanity the longest. It thought to itself a little mischief. Does humanity adore God simply because of Their gifts to humanity or is there something more? So in its quest for an answer, it released an ancient beast that had been chained in the deepest crevice of the known and unknown universe. Long before the birth of Midgard, the beast known as Leviathan had challenged the armies of God in a bid to usurp the crown from the true ruler of the universe. For its challenge, Leviathan was defeated and chained for all eternity.

But the Asura's act unleashed chaos on Midgard. The beast tore down the cities of humanity with its long and deadly claws. It razed the ancient cities of humanity to the ground with its flame that bore the guise of the blue waters of Cocytus, the beautiful river of Patmos but it scorched like the Helios itself had descended to Midgard. After a colossal battle, the forces of humanity and God quelled the beast once again. But it was not to be chained alone. For the sin of releasing the beast and causing the deaths of numerous humans, the Asura was chained together with Leviathan in the same crevice Leviathan had emerged out of for all of eternity."

The woman whose hair was white as the snow and kissed her children on their cheeks as they sheltered themselves in a cave from the brutally cold winds that had assaulted them all through their climb across the Alps.

"Mother will we be chained like Leviathan and the Asura when they find us?" asked the girl who shared her mother's pale moon hair and bright red eyes.

"Only if they catch us, my love, only if they catch us." said the mother smiling down at her daughter.

The emerald eyed boy simply stared at his mother with a tinge of sadness but quickly replaced it with resolve before sinking down to sleep saying "I'll keep second watch Mother."

The mother watched her children fall asleep before sitting closer to the mouth of the cave letting the cold winds slap her awake. To others, it may have been painful but not for Snow White. For her, the cold just strengthened her. She touched the green orb encased into the pommel of her sword. It glowed with vigour in response to her touch and her rise in strength.

"Soon my beloved." she thought to herself. "Soon."

She then watched the sky as the moon seemed to hide from her cold gaze behind a veil of dark clouds.
