CHAPTER TWO

I DON'T BELIEVE IN LOVE

Priyanka pressed on shampoo on Tina hair scrubbing it over for easy combing. she then comb it over for perfect rising.

"mom! I got something to tell you. Tina said sitting down.

"come on baby. what is it? she asked her while cleaning her hair.

"there's this guy in my school for some days now. he has been stalking me all the time. although he's everyday desires in school.

"and what then happen baby?

"there was a day after my music class in which I decided to have a cool time with myself at my favorite spot in the school. suddenly he came out from nowhere sitting beside me and was smiling... like smiling..he literally do that all the time..

"then why don't you ask him that moment. she asked her in which her face drop at sad moment.

"what is it baby? you don't want to tell me?

"no Priya.

Priyanka looked at her in an unusual manners. she knew Tina doesn't call her by her name just like that unless something painful or hurtful happened to her.

"what is it Tina? why did you just call me that? she asked holding her face closed to her.

"mom! you see in this life I think it's not always good in jumping into conclusion about someone.....I came to realize his muteness of not always responding to my questions.

and why dear?

"he doesn't speak Priya! he only hears and can't talk!!! I almost freaked out when he tried experiencing himself to me through signs... I was like O.M.G! I was basically out of confusion and superstition when he gave me a written note stating.

"I'm so sorry I always bumped into you without saying anything.. just because I couldn't express or know how you would react if I should tried talking to you in presence of others, in which I don't even want them to know about my challenges.

"really! Priyanka asked looking surprising at her.

"yes Priya, I couldn't hold back my tears because I really felt for him... like he's someone all the girls could possibly fight themselves over because of his cuteness. I then wondered how their reaction will be If they found out he can't talk.

"I'm so speechless right now Tina. but I hope he doesn't let them know.

"he sure won't let them know. Because he told me he doesn't want his father reputation to be brought down. oh..oh..oh now I know why he doesn't talk or being questioned in class. he is such a gentle guy but I can't go for him.

"I know Tina. but you shouldn't assumed he is trying to ask you out. he might just want to be friend with you. Priyanka said.

"yeah! I know. but I just pity him like such a guy could be dumb. truly some rich people have their struggles too.

"it's well my dear. but love doesn't have limit it can't be control when it comes to true feelings.

"oh! mom. I don't believe in love is all superstition. love is all like fairy tale that is just meant to be said for pleasure.

Priyanka laughing at Tina who kept on mumbling sarcastically about love.

Tina went to her room and sat on her bed looking through her books and came across the note Lucas gave her. she opened it and smiled as she read it over and over again.

she decided to write something to hm and she write and wasn't pleased with it she tores it and rewrite severally until she slept off without writing any.

during the school break Vivian walked up to Tina desk banging it loudly that Tina flares up at her for her manners. Vivian took off the hook she used to hold her hair and scattered Tina hair which spread over her face.

"what is the meaning of all this Vivian! Tina angry voice draws the attention of others.

"oh! you're trying to tell me you don't know right. you this shameless and harlot. Vivian placed a note on her desk in which caught Tina attention.

she hurriedly took the piece of paper in her hands squeezing it.

"oh you don't need squeeze it. Vivian said laughing awkwardly.

"where did you take this Vivian?

Vivian walks around egotistically .

"she thinks she is smart enough. but I proved to her to be smarter.

some of the students were throwing questions at her.

"what is in the paper Vivian?

"give us the gist Vivian, another said why hailing her.

"well, you people won't believe that Tina could write love quote to Lucas! I mean my very own Lucas!!! this thing has been seeing him secretly. and..

"how did you know that Vivian? Beatrice asked her shunning her up.

at that instance Tina stood up packing her books hurriedly in which some part fell down to her surprised a hand joined her as she picked the books she looked up and see Lucas smiling at her. her heartbeat increased speedily which makes her staggered backward. Vivian draws the chair behind Tina which makes her fall flat to the floor. those watching them bursted into laughter. Tina had to sprang up running out.

"o da bi pe o tin craze Vivian. Tope said running after Tina.

"look at them birds of same feathers who flocks together. Vivian said raising her butt at Tope.

Vivian goes to Lucas who is seated reading a novel 'My vampire lover' . she swayed her body at his front but Lucas wasn't giving her the attention she needed. she got angry and left with her friends snapping at him that she will be back for him while Lucas only nod is head focusing on the novel.

"why is he only mute? one of the students said looking at Lucas.

you know his family are rich or maybe he still hasn't get along with us. so probably that's how those spoilt brat do. he said hitting his pen on his desk.
