12 Time skip II
After achieving Bankai, I continued to make progress. I was never idle or lazy. I knew what was coming in the future and I needed to be ready. It has been two years since then. After achieving Bankai, which might appear to be late, if you know about my progress in everything else, I was ready to take the position of Squad 6's Captain when the time came.
My Bankai was different from the one Byakuya had in the story. But not by much. In the story, Byakuya's Bankai was called 'Senbonzakura Kageyoshi'. This translates to 'Vibrant display of thousand cherry blossoms' and in my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful ones. Death in the form of cherry blossoms seems almost poetic.
The true form of Senbonzakura Kageyoshi is Senkei. This unites the scattered petals into complete glowing swords, numbering in the thousands, which form four rows. These rows float just above each other and circle around Byakuya and his opponent in a continuously moving, column-like array. It abandons defence in favour of a concentrated offence. Though visually menacing, this form is not meant for attack from all sides; rather, it concentrates his Bankai into fewer blades, thus increasing his attack power.

I also had Senkei. Senkei translates to 'Slaughterscape' but mine works differnetly. In Senkei, everything my Reiatsu touches is subjected to Senkei and anything my Reiatsu touches, can be turned into blades. It is similar to something akin to a Domain Expansion from Jujutsu Kaisen. And I will continue to work on my Bankai to one day achieve such a domain.
Sukuna's, Malevolent Shrine has the ability to cut which interests me greatly. I will try and replicate this in some way. Sadly, I don't have a Meta Essence to help me here so everything has to be done through my own hard work. But I'm confident that I will succeed in some way.
Using Senkei, I can use the attack called 'Ha no saidan'. This translates to 'Blade Shredding'. After using Senkei, I can infuse my blades into anything that my Reiatsu touches and then turn all of that into blades, effectively shredding any and all enemies to bits.

Another difference between my 'Senmanzakura Hakai' and the OG Byakuya's 'Senbonzakura Kageyoshi' is the sheer number of blades that I can produce. OG Byakuya produces two rows of thousands of blades that rise from the ground. And multiplied by the thousand blades he can produce each blade that gives him a total of about 2'000'000 blades. At least before the TYBW.
I am already able to produce almost 20 million blades in my Shikai, so my Bankai follows the same principle. So a 1'000x multiplication. This gives me close to 20 billion blades that I can use in my Bankai. And I can tell that this is still not my limit. I will increase this to unimaginable numbers.

Finally, there is my ultimate technique that is similar to OG Byakuya: 'Shūkei: Hakuteiken' - White Imperial Sword. Mine is a bit different though. There is a bit of a name change.
Mine is called: 'Shūkei: Hakutenken no Hakai' - Hakuteiken becomes Hakutenken. "天" (ten) is used instead of "帝" (tei), and it can be translated as "heaven" or "divine.".
So this translates to "Endscape: White Divine Sword of Destruction."
Shūkei: Hakutenken no Hakai, condenses each and every one of my blades into a single, potent and destructive sword, drastically increasing its cutting power. The spiritual energy and pressure released by this form are immense and the stronger I become, the higher it gets.
The blade appears bright white, and its aura takes the form of a bird, earning it the name Hakutenken (White Divine Sword). Pure white wings form on my back, as well as a halo-like circle, made of concentrated spiritual energy. This form's blade can slice anything and create aggravated injuries in a single blow.
The energy and Reiatsu are so potent in fact that it acts like a 'Lightsaber' from Star Wars and would immediately cauterize the wound if there wasn't that nasty effect. The word Hakai can be translated to destruction or shredding. So I have the option to add a shredding or 'Hakai' effect that doesn't cauterize the wound but shreds the flesh nastily.

The wings can be used for flight as well, giving me amazing aerial fighting potential. But that is not all. If I want, I can imbue all of my blades with both Busoshoku and Haoshoku Haki. This turns the blade's pitch black and increases its lethality and power exponentially.

The squad was coming along well. Both Ikkaku and Yumichika were training ... somewhat at least and I could see them growing stronger and more skilled. I wonder whether Ichigo will still win against Ikkaku when he comes to Soul Society. But I guess I might not be the Captain of the 11th Division forever.
I have made some friends with other Captains of the Gotei 13. The first one to approach me was Kyoraku Shunsui, the Captain of Squad 8. He and his friend Ukitake Jushiro had invited me to dinner one time and we hit it off pretty fast since then. I enjoy both of their company and they also seem to enjoy my calm and collected character.
Since then I invited both of them to the Kuchiki clan multiple times to spend some time and speak with my Grandfather as well. I did that because I noticed that Grandfather was getting rather lonely without me at home. So Grandfather opened up a bit in the company of Shunsui and Jushiro. We had some fun during those relaxing times.
Shunsui and Jushiro told me and Grandfather during one of those dinners, that they didn't know about my character until they got to know me better. The 'dislike' for me and my methods stems from the fact that I don't really socialise with anyone, other than Yoruichi.

Talking about Yoruichi is also the most troublesome topic. The visits from the Cat Monster have increased in quantity. I don't know what this is but I had to stop using Kenbunshoku (Observation) Haki in her vicinity. Her emotions are all over the place. It makes me dizzy. She has started this useless ritual where she tries to surprise attack me and if she does land a hit she then flees and I am 'supposed' to capture her.
I am far faster than she is and it has lost all meaning. I didn't like the game when I was small and I don't like it now. It is just exhausting and her excuses for seeing me are getting worse and worse. I feel like at this point, just don't say anything.
(Flashback)
"Oi Byakuya, stop daydreaming and try and catch me. This is supposed to be training for you.", Yoruichi says with a disapproving gaze.
"This is pointless and you know it. I am not a child anymore and it was as useless then as it is now. So please stop this facade and tell me what is going on with you for the last couple of days. It is getting slightly annoying.", I say.
"Don't say that something annoys you with that same serene and passive expression. Haaa, you are infuriating sometimes. Also what's wrong? Don't you like it when your big sister comes to visit?", she asks with a smirk.
"This is getting us nowhere. I'm going to train now. That seems to be the best choice right now.", I say and then leave the scene.

(3rd Person POV)
What Byakuya didn't see was the conflicted look the woman had as he left.
"You ought to find a solution to your problem Yoruichi-san. You're just going to be unhappy otherwise.", the voice of Ginrei said as he walked up to her.
"What are you talking about?"
"You know what I'm talking about."
"..."
"Your feelings for Byakuya. If you don't deal with them, you will ruin your relationship. It won't end well, I know my grandson. He wouldn't even understand what happened and you would be devastated. He has no interest in such things at the moment. So I recommend you either be honest or stop this game. Don't lie to yourself."
(Flashback end)

I am currently walking towards Division 12. I have been visiting here quite often. Kirio Hikifune has become my friend. She is a beautiful woman and I like spending time with her. Not only is she beautiful, but she is a heavenly cook. Whenever I finish my training and my duties as a Captain, I come here and spend time with her. She is a cheery individual and she brightens the room whenever she is present.
*Knock Knock*
"Come in~"
"Excuse me."
"Ah, Byakuya how are you today? Did you finish your training?", Kirio asks me.
"I'm fine thank you. Yes, I finished my training for the day and thought I'd visit you. How was your day Kirio?"
"Oh, it was good. I've been working on this new thing I have been working on for a while now. I think I'm close but it is not as easy as it sounds."
"And what does it sound like?"
"Hehe, I call them Gikon."
"Substitute Souls? That doesn't sound easy at all.", I say and sit down.
"I guess not but it feels like this is an important part of my work. If I can do this, it will help Soul Society greatly. Can you imagine what this would mean for us?"
Kirio is very passionate about her work. It is something we share, passion. She is passionate about her inventions and cooking and I am passionate about training and growing stronger as a swordsman and a Shinigami. It is this passion that makes us understand each other well.
"Captain, I'm coming in.", the voice of Kirio's Lieutenant is heard.
"Hai hai Hiyori come in."
"Captain I was thinking that we- ehhh what is he doing here?!", she screams and points at me.
Hiyori Sarugaki is the name of this little ball of fiery character. She is a bit too much at times but Kirio keeps her in check so that I don't have to. That doesn't mean that I haven't introduced her to my Haki yet. She had a glimpse one time when she crossed a border of impoliteness.
"Byakuya is here to visit me, Hiyori."
"Good to see you Hiyori.", I say in a polite manner.
"Eh ... yeah. Well, Captain, I was thinking about whether there is something you need me for, otherwise I'd go spend some time with Shinji, Rose and the others."
"Hm... no there is nothing that I need help with at the moment. Go and have fun Hiyori."
"Ok. Thank you Captain.", Hiyori said and then rushed out.

"Did you notice it as well, Kirio?", I ask my friend after Hiyori left.
"Notice what?"
"The strange happenings that are going on in the Rukongai. Something is in the air. People have been reported missing. The only reason why no one notices or cares is because it's just Rukongai residents."
"I do remember reading a report of some sort. Hollows?"
"No, they would make more of a mess and noise. This seems to be something else."
"What are you thinking?"
"Right now, nothing. But abduction was something I thought about."
"Abduction? By whom? And for what?"
"I am not sure but some form of experimentation. The strange part is that people say the people's clothes remain. So it can't be a Hollow. Something is going on."
"Hmm, but it might as well be nothing. You're right though that does sound strange. Did you talk to your grandfather about that?"
"I did and he said I should either tell the Head Captain or go investigate myself. I think that might be a good idea."
"Hm, that might work. Your senses are top-notch. If anyone can find out anything about this, it would be you."
"Flattery from you?"
"Oh stop. I only state the truth. How strong are you now anyway?"
"Not as strong as you I'm sure.", I say with a smile. I might say this in jest, but Kirio is seriously powerful. You can't underestimate her. She isn't so powerful that all three worlds tremble when she activates her Bankai, so I guess you get stronger after joining the Zero Division, but she is powerful.
I'd win though.
