When Emily left, Alex took a shower and prepared for work. While getting ready, he noticed the messy bed with a hint of blood. He remembers the hot night they had. A devilish smile crossed his face as he thought, "So she's a virgin," to himself.

Heading out, Alex asked his maids to clean his room and change the bedsheets. His secretary is already there and waiting for him.

"Investigate Emily and her family, mostly her sister, to see where she got those drugs," Alex ordered his secretary.

"Yes, boss, we're tracking where she got the drug, but there's still no news," his secretary replied.

As Alex handed his secretary a plastic bag containing Emily's hair, he instructed, "This is Emily's hair. Give it to Dr. Chu and have it analyzed to determine the type of drug." Mr. Sang nodded, and they headed to the military base.

Alex, a young major general in the army, earned his rank due to successful missions. He excelled in planning, combat, and managing his own company while serving in the military. His grandfather was a general, and his father, the CEO of Lee Family Company, ventured into the business world. Despite his background attracting attention, Alex remained cold and distant, focusing on his military duties.

Arriving at the base, Alex, looking handsome in his black tee and military pants, walked with poise and joined military leaders in the meeting hall to discuss a critical mission. Maps and charts adorned the walls as the general outlined the objective—a covert operation to neutralize a high-profile threat. Tension filled the room as officers exchanged ideas, emphasizing the need for strategic precision.

The hum of hushed voices echoed the gravity of the impending mission, each participant aware of the impact it could have on both the nation and the safety of their comrades. Plans unfolded like a carefully orchestrated dance, setting the stage for a mission that would test their mettle and resolve.

After the meeting, Alex informed his comrades about the upcoming mission and headed to the shooting range to practice, a routine reinforcing his commitment to military excellence.

At the same time, Emily woke up in the middle of the night, checking her phone to see if her friends had messaged her. She realized her old phone was lost and remembered that she had a new one, a gift from Alex, and she saw that Alex had saved his number there. "What a cunning beast," Emily exclaimed with a soft smile.

Though Alex seemed familiar to her, Emily couldn't pinpoint who he was. She decided to research him online, and after typing a little on her computer, she found out about Alex.

She discovered his name was Alex Lee. His family held significant influence in this country, with rumors circulating about him being a playboy. She can't help but blush at the memories of the previous night. Emily shakes her head and shifts her focus, logging into her messaging app to chat with her friends.

"OMG, good thing you're online! I saw the news. Are you okay?" Mia, her friend, asked worriedly.

"Yes, I'm okay. Someone helped me last night. Don't worry about it," Emily reassured Mia.

"That's good, but I really hate your cousin. Don't tell me you'll forgive her like before? Emily, wake up. This is too much already," Mia scolded.

"I know. Don't worry. There's no more next time. From now on, I will fight to the death with them," Emily replied.

"Haysss, if you thought that long ago, why only now? If only you had someone in your life, for sure, he would protect you," Mia commented.

Emily remembered Alex and shook her head. "What do you mean? I can protect myself! It's just that last night was different; they drugged me," Emily retorted.

"But still, you're not being careful. What if they do it again? So, you really need someone to protect you. Anyway, you promised me last time that you would agree to a blind date, and I've already planned it. All you need to do is dress up and go to that blind date that I will introduce to you. Don't worry; I found a perfect guy for you," Mia excitedly insisted.

Emily's lips twitched as she recalled her promise. "Okay, okay. Just update me on the time and place, and I'll be there," she replied.

After chatting for a while, Emily said goodbye to Mia. Suddenly, her other friend, Ethan, her college classmate and business partner, reached out. They have been planning to start a tech business since they graduated, and now they are finalizing their business before launching it.

"I have been calling you since last night, but you didn't answer, and suddenly this morning I saw a video of Lhei Lin. I got really worried and guilty for not attending the party. I tried to track your phone, but it had already died. What happened? Are you okay? "expressing his concern and feeling guilty for missing the party.

"No worries, Ethan. It was a crazy night. I got drugged at the party, but someone helped me out. I'm fine now," Emily explained.
