Chapter 12

"Mom, and Dad" I said as I looked at the gun in my mother's hand. "I'm sorry dear but we have no choice it's either we bring you to Alpha Ryan or you die" my mother said in a cold tone.

how could she do this she was the only one in the pack that would love me and now shes point a gun at my head "Why" I said carefully standing up "he threatened our pack it was a choice between you and the pack and unfortunately for you one soul is not equal to the price of our pack you should understand" she replied in a tone colder then before.

"I expected this from dad but not you mom but now I wonder if you were truly oblivious to my torture" I replied "what are you talking about?" she asked still pointing the gun at me "FOR YEARS THE ENTIRE PACK BEAT ME AND TREATED ME LIKE A SLAVE, WALTER HAD EVEN RAPED ME AND NOW I AM PREGNANT WITH HIS CHILD!" I yelled but immediately regretted it as my throat began to hurt.

"your lying I would've seen it your dad told me you willingly had sex with walter you cheated your own mate you whore" she said with a look of anger in her eyes "you don't know..." emily said until I put my hand up as a way to interrupt her "the truth is the truth weather you chose to believe it is your choice" I said and turned around to walk away.

Suddenly I heard to gunshots I turned around to see jackie standing in front of me and suddenly fall to the ground "Jackie!" I yelled and ran over to her and held her in my arms as she began to bleed out "why why would you..." "I did it to protect you I-Its my job as your friend' she said as she began to cough up blood.

"The bullets a-are wolfsbane I can feel it" she said in a weak voice "Jackie just stay awake for me ok just stay awake "emily take care of Kazzy ok" she said to Emily "yeah but that's your job so you can't die" emily said as she began to cry.

"You know I h-had hoped you would h-have a girl so I could play d-dress up with her b-but I guess I won't get that Chance" she said in a much weaker voice "come here kaz I need to tell you a secret" she said and I leaned my ear close to her mouth "the words she said made me begin to cry even more untill finally I saw the light fade from her eyes.

anger and sadness mixing together grew inside of me until I screamed and I felt it all come to the surface and Everything thing blurred.

EMILIA'S POV

She Screamed and when she did it was like a massive burst of energy came out of her pushing everyone but her and my sisters body away from her.

She carefully put my Jackie's body down and stood up walking over to the people she called mom and dad only a few short minutes ago.

I could feel the strange power radiating off of her was She truly a Lycan. the next thing I know she uses her power to throw her parents into a tree "This will be your only warning Leave this territory now and never return if I ever see anyone from that pack again they will die by my hands I am done showing mercy" she said in a calm dark tone.

she picked up her picked up both parents with some sort of telekinesis and threw them as far as she possibly could. she walked back over to my sister and fell to her knees burying her face in her hands and crying "I'm so sorry Jackie it's my fault your dead" she said sobbing.

Kasmine's POV

Everything was a blur it was like I had no control over my body all I felt was anger and sadness. I just lost one of the only people who helped me since I came here and it was my fault.

I was going to ask her to be the babies god mother h-how can this happen "Kazzy snap out of it we have to go" Emily said shaking me back to reality I looked up at her to see her eyes to see them shine with unshed tears.

this was her sister and yet she was holding it together better then I. I got up and we began to run until we had no more energy to.

EMILIA'S POV

I don't know how but I was able to bring her back to reality, I understood why she was freaking out but this was no time for that and I saw that she realized that.

I pulled her up and we began to run continuing in he direction of the safe house I didn't want to leave behind my sisters body but we had no choice this was war and they were obviously after Kazzy and it was my job to keep her safe we ran for about another 2 hours before we sat down to take a break, I could tell she was both physically and mentally exhausted and it wasn't good for the baby it's probably even worse since she shifted.

"Emily do you hear that?" Kazzy asked looking north of us "Hear wha..." suddenly she jumped on top of me and the next thing I know there's an explosion We quickly got up to see a woman with dark hair and red purple eyes.

"What quick reflexes exactly what I'd expect of a Lycan" the woman said with a smile "I'll give you one chance come with me or die" the woman said "your a witch" Kasmine's eyes went wide "yes I am now your answer I don't like to ask twice" the woman said her smile slowly fading "um you just did" I replied and she glared at me "fine so be it" she said.

She quickly created some sort of fire ball and threw it at us, we ducked and it hit a tree I turned around to see the damage only to see at least 5 trees brunt to a crisp "man we just can't catch a break can we" I said.
