191 Winter Solace

Tia pulls me over and pushes me to sit down before saying "Let me help you with your hair. To be honest, I've wanted to touch it ever since I first saw it. It's... beautiful." Her eyes dance with delight as she runs her fingers through my wet hair. 

I slightly relax as I sigh and say "Have fun" I give her a small smile in the mirror as she starts combing my hair. My eyes linger on the mirror, hoping and wishing that something would happen but no matter how hard I stare at it, it doesn't move. 

"Okay, done! Do you like it?" Tia says patting my shoulders. I blink and turn my head to better see my hair. When I see the beautiful braids on the sides of my head, I smile. It was truly well done. My smile grows as I look at her in the mirror and nod my head while saying "It's a work of art, thank you."
