The End In Sight

I rip my hand out of the man's chest with a war cry! I stagger back, trying to catch my breath as I look around for more. Thane throws a head several feet away before tossing the body away as well. The two of us lock eyes with each other before looking around once again. 

Even through the mask, we can smell the blood saturating the air around us. Blood and death... When we don't see another soul, we signal to the shooters in the hunting perches before heading towards the Tribes. Thane and I both pull down our masks, taking deep breaths of fresh air as we quickly make our way over.

When we come to the cave, Thane and I both are suddenly pulled under! A strong hand wraps around my throat before everything stops. Kelic blinks in surprise before quickly releasing me and asking "Are you okay? What happened up there?"
