83 Doesn't Look Good

They move closer as a unit before lowering themselves and exposing the ones behind them holding guns. The men shoot, without a warning. I lift my hand, slowing the bullets before turning them on them and shooting them back.

I hit three before they're able to shield the rest. Three new men step up and quickly replace the fallen ones. Thane lifts both hands covered in blue electricity and slams it into the ground! It shorts out several computers and lights but the men seem unfazed. It must be those shields...

Thane curses and says "They have special gear on as well! It's not just the shields."

Water continues to pour so I quickly build the water up before sending a large wave at them. They stumble back, a few falling over and a few slipping. Thane shoots out sharp ice blades, cutting several men in the legs and arms before they can regroup again.

Suddenly, more men show up and block us from behind. We're surrounded, again. I guess this is what you get when you break into a military building... I grit my teeth in anger and begin calling all the metal to me.

The men try to hold onto their guns, knives, and even their military dog tags but my pull is too strong. It causes them to start slipping and sliding before they end up cutting them off altogether or releasing them. The metal from their weapons and around the building start flying to me with dangerous speeds but before they even reach me, I break them down into small round metal balls.

Sweat drips down my back as I strain to control all of them at the same time. One man is crazy enough to actually throw a grenade! The other men scream and try to stop him but it's too late. I lose focus on my metal balls and focus on the grenade.

I quickly rip the grenade apart in midair before it has a chance to explode. I pick up all the metal balls again and glare straight at the men surrounding us before unleashing them all. Screw it, I'm done playing nice. The men all yell out and struggle to get the shields back up but it's too late for some.

Screams and yells can be heard as the water still continues to pour in. The water is almost half a foot deep in here! Thane's father yells out "I want her in once piece!!!" I glare at him and once we make eye contact, I smirk. I open the ground under him and watch when he yells out in alarm.

Just like Thane, he can use ice. He tries to save himself but I quickly counter it and seal him in the ground with nothing but his head sticking out, struggling to keep his head above the water. When I hear screams of pain, I look back to see Thane ripping into the men behind us.

He tears them to pieces like they're nothing more than pieces of paper. The water around him turns dark red from all the blood but he doesn't stop. A man tries to stab Thane from behind so I quickly lift my hand and melt the metal.

He hits Thane in the back, expecting to stab him but when nothing happens, he looks to the blade in confusion. Thane slowly turns around to glare at him before ripping his head off. Thane's father somehow managed to get free and yell "Seal the whole building! No one leaves!!" His hair was now sticking up in all different directions and if I wasn't mistaken, he sorta resembled a drowned rat.

His voice was really starting to work my nerves... I turn back to see them setting up a large looking cannon of some kind. I blink in surprise as I block a fist headed straight to my face but I can't take my eyes off the cannon. They have a freaking cannon!? For what!?

I lean and step back to avoid another fist before using the guy's own chain to choke him. He stumbles back, clutching at the golden chain around his neck desperately. I quickly walk up to him and say "Don't you know you aren't supposed to hit women?" and I kick him in his goods.

As soon as he falls face-first in the water collecting on the floor, I release the necklace and run over to Thane. I see three guys lift a cannon, pointing it straight at Thane! I pick up my pace but when Thane turns, I drop to the floor and slide straight between his legs. The water on the floor allows me to slide through with ease and CheeChee seems to enjoy the ride!

As I slide to the front of him, I quickly lift my hand and bend the metal on the front of the cannon! The cannon goes off but because I sealed it off, it can't fire so it causes a small explosion! Thane and I, along with the men around us, all go flying back several feet.

Thane gets up immediately and quickly picks me up. CheeChee and I both look around with wide eyes. I can't hear! When I look back towards the cannon, I finally see what it is. It's a net! And it's made out of the same crap the shields are made of.

If they hit us with one of those... we may not be able to escape! Someone shoots and Thane falls to one knee. They shot him! I try to get out of his hold but Thane refuses to release me, afraid that I'll get shot again.

I grit my teeth and start circulating the water around us, over and over until it starts looking like a whirlpool. I pull the wind to us to mix into the water and before I know it, I've created a water tornado inside of the building.

I clutch Thane tight as we remain in the middle of this storm and say "I can't hold this for much longer..." Thane looks down at me with determination and says "We leave here together." I give him a strained smile before saying "Let's bring the place down."

Thane gives me a dark grin before he nods and says "You took the words right out of my mouth." Blue electricity starts sparking off Thane's wide shoulders before it too gets sucked into the tornado!

The glass above shatters as everything in the building starts to break down, one by one. Panic breaks out as I struggle to keep the tornado going. I lean over and slam my hand down on the ground. Instantly causing the ground to shake uncontrollably.

I'll destroy everything here before letting them take Thane again!
