CHAPTER 24: THE SHADOW

All of them carry a candle in their hands, with faces with serious countenance and pale skin, dressed in black, with their eyes shining in the darkness of the moon.

From, among the crowd, there are two familiar faces... they are Walter and Gina, dressed like the others, with a very serious attitude.

All of them, facing the part of the house where the architect's room is located.

Jhon sleeps, meanwhile, a black shadow that floats over him, looks at him carefully, it is like a mist, which whispers with a woman's voice: at last I have you, Jhon...

It is very little before dawn.

The young architect sinks between dreams.

He remembers his uncle George, at the foot of that childhood home.

George enters the house, on the threshold of it, turns in profile and calls him with a gesture of his hand.

Jhon, seeing himself at the age of a child, advances towards the house.

At every step he takes, time seems to pass through him.

Going halfway, George enters the house, disappearing from his sight.

Jhon is not afraid, but, his heart seems to be accelerating and his body to sweat cold.

Upon reaching the threshold, you can see that, inside the house there is a shadow shaped like a woman, the body floats since it does not touch the ground.
