It had been eighteen months since Anna retired from her job as a ghost agent. At first, she enjoyed having nothing to do every day. But then… she got bored. She quickly understood why Ladislas had been bored out of his mind after years of living. Hence, she made a promise to herself to do something productive.

She was practically a house spouse and didn't contribute to the finances of the household running in the least. When she tried to bring it up, Ladislas scoffed and told her he didn't work for the money, to begin with. She teased him about flaunting his money but deep down, she was not used to the idea of living off someone.

She got no retirement money and all the money she knew everyone had hidden was sitting under the bases. She had half a mind to become a robber and take all the money for herself. Another part of her was ashamed for thinking it.
