Chapter 251: He was fearless

"Take me to the doctor." Raymond declared.

"Okay, boss." The bodyguard muttered and drove off.

At the restaurant.

Daisy walked into the restaurant, directing a delivery guy to carry boxes into the restaurant as Ryan ran to her.

"Mommy." He beamed. She weirdly stared at him.

"What are you doing here? I thought I asked you not to come." She stated.

"You didn’t," he replied.

"I told Grandma to tell you." Daisy muttered through clenched teeth.

"She didn’t tell me anything." He muttered as he grasped her hand.

"Mom, just like to avoid babysitting Ryan." She muttered to herself.

"What are those?" he inquired, staring at the man as he walked past them with a box.

"It’s the supplies."  Daisy replied.

"Mom, do you know what happened? There was this man bullying Grandpa and…she cut in.

"Really, what did you do?" she asked, putting her hand on her waist.

"What can I do? I yelled at him. He wanted to hit me when my hero saved me." He mumbled, smiling brightly.

"Who is your hero?" she asked bluntly.

"My hero is so fearless, he is tall, huge and muscular, he had a handsome face and hair just like mine." He beamed.

"That your hero must be a perfect man." She muttered, rolling her eyes.

"He is mom, I can’t wait to see him again. He promised to come and see me tomorrow." He squealed. She frowned at him.

"You are not coming here tomorrow." She declared.

"Why not?" he inquired.

"I will be going shopping with you tomorrow for your birthday party." She beamed.

"Can we go another time?" he asked.

"Nope, tomorrow." She replied.

"I want to see my hero, I have to invite him to my birthday party too." He muttered with pouted lips.

"You are not allowed to invite strangers to the party, not just that your party is for kids your age." Daisy declared, glaring at him.

"You didn’t set these rules before, and my hero is not a stranger." He muttered.

"Let’s go home." She said she was walking over to Mr Yan.

"Welcome Daisy, thank you for getting all this for me, you are like the daughter I never had." He beamed.

She smiled widely at him and put her hand on the counter, staring into his eyes.

"Then can you not sell the restaurant?" she asked bluntly.

"Nice try, but I still want to sell it." He replied flatly as he sighted Ryan, who was standing behind Daisy with his hand folded and his eyebrows lowered and pulled together.

"Why is he gloomy?" Mr Yan inquired, staring at Ryan.

"Oh, he just wanted to invite someone he called his hero to his birthday party." She replied.

"Why can’t he?" Mr Yan inquired.

"Because the party is strictly for kids." She announced.

"Why can’t you just let him invite him? He also invited me, didn’t he?" he alleged.

Daisy groaned.

"Alright fine, you can invite him." She muttered, staring at him, and his frown turned into a smile.
