Chapter 115: Injured Raymond

"Sir, are you okay?" he inquired.

"Call the police now!!" Raymond commanded. He was holding his injured arm as the blood started dripping on the floor. Hearing this, the man started running to the door as Mr. Josh followed behind him.

The man was dragging his injured leg on the floor as Mr. Josh followed him closely.

The man looked back and saw Mr. Josh coming behind him. He ran quickly out of the house, and Mr. Josh followed him running down the street. As the man was running at great speed, never looking back.

Mr. Josh didn’t give up. He was running after him. He started slowing down and he hit his leg on a stone.

"Arrgh!!" Mr. Josh grunted in pain and held his leg. He fell to the floor and started looking at his leg, which was now red.

He managed to stand up and ran back home to Raymond. He found Raymond on the bed. He has removed his robe and started cleaning his injured hand with the first aid box by his side.

Mr. Josh ran to him and took the cotton wool from him and started cleaning his arm for him.

"Where is he?" Raymond inquired.

"I couldn’t catch him, your life is more important." He replied without looking at Raymond.

"Arrgh!" Raymond grunted.

"Sorry, I will be gentle." Mr. Josh said, and started cleaning his injury.  He finished cleaning it and took a bandage out of the first aid box and started using it to wrap his hand.

"I think it is not safe to leave here anymore, how on earth did he know my house." Raymond stated.

"I don’t know, but I think he is a professional criminal." Mr. Josh remarked, and finished tying the bandage.

"Give me my phone." Raymond instructed.

Mr. Josh looked around the room and spotted his phone on top of his drawer and handed it to him.

He took his phone and called the police, but his phone was ringing, but he didn’t pick it up.

"He isn’t picking." Raymond said.

"It’s late, I think he must be asleep."

"How can a policeman be sleeping." Raymond whined.

"They have their own personal life aside from work." Mr. Josh replied.

"I think you need to go to sleep, sir." Mr. Josh said, pushing him to bed.

"Even if I lay down, I will never sleep, I can’t trust you with my life, you were here when someone broke into the house." Raymond stated.

"I am sorry, I must have fallen asleep." Mr. Josh and stroked his hair back shyly.

"I don’t care," Raymond muttered, and turned to face the other side of the bed.

The next day.

Raymond quickly got up from bed. He couldn’t sleep, and the pain in his right arm didn’t make him feel sleepy either. He walked to the living room and saw Mr. Josh arranging food on the table.

"Have they sent the security?" Raymond inquired, glaring at him.

"No they haven’t, come and eat, sir." He stated.
