Ruby Alasdair drank her tea gracefully.

The woman was busy thinking about her meeting with Duchess Alasdair in her dream last night. Her pink eyes lost focus and her golden hair fluttered in the wind. Shery braided her hair in a ponytail but only in the middle so the rest of her hair was left loose.

Ruby was in the back garden of Alasdair's mansion. In front of her, Theodore Cielo ate the sweets made by the chefs and other maids while humming and smiling happily. On his lap was a teddy bear given to him by Duke Alasdair. The boy didn't seem to mind the silence around him.

"My Lady."

Ruby's pink eyes started to move. Her focus started to return. The woman turned her head and looked at Shery while raising one eyebrow. Her loyal maid bowed slightly and whispered, "Young Master Theo has been busy playing alone since earlier, My Lady. Even though he didn't comment or complain, I think he felt sad because My Lady didn't invite him to play."
